Control your Android, Windows or Linux device from the comfort of your couch. This is the client part and can be installed on your Android device for control another device. Moreover, with DroidMote, you can use all multi touch applications and games , even on devices that do not have the touch screen (e.g. a TV!).

DroidMote emulates real input devices in the Android, Windows and Linux OS. Mouse, keyboard, multi touch trackpad, touch screen and a gamepad with 16 buttons and 6 axis that also uses the accelerometer of your client device. You can use the soft gamepad or an hardware gamepad connected to the client to play with all games installed on server device, also those without the built-in controller support in virtue of the Gamepad2Touch functionality and the help of the touch profiles. Games that support a real gamepad recognize DroidMote as a real device. If you don't have a router, no problem. You can establish a connection point to point between the two devices with the function Tethering / portable hotspot of your device. (you do not need bluetooth, the bluetooth is slow and cover small distances)

Was not able to connect with TV, even when the phone itself was connected via HDMI cable to the television. Still trying to find an app (like the one that comes with samsung phones) to use as a mouse when plugging my phone into the TV for a secondary screen
Works very well but when using with Windows or Linux sever without the paid version of this client, you will have to watch a 30 sec ad-video (which I feel is quite long) every time you connect or even re-connect a few minutes later. No ad when using the paid Android Server.
Running server found, but routinely won't connect. **Edit ** Looks like the issue was system notifications for this app were disabled somewhow- as soon as enabled again, things started working normally. ** Edit 11 Feb 2020 ** Now reports that no longer recognizes license, and won't connect again despite server and client being g on same wifi network, and no 4G. I paid for app and now am subjected to ads,
It is one one of the app which did worth rooting my android tv. Loved the app and functioning no issues, tho I will suggest few things to add cherry on top. i.e. if it is possible to add an option for pasting clipboard content straight away and launching apps directly from the client app, it will be an perfect app then :)
The cat and mouse game of updating the server and client, when the server doesn't auto start, has to stop. How about a server app that restarts after an update. Treat the server app like a service. All you need is a very simple process/app that calls the second more complex one. So the simplest one (the calling process) doesn't need frequent updates, and can make sure the updated server (more complex) process is running.
Everything works well except for keyboard. On the server I choose multiple language. But when I used the keyboard on the phone to type, the non-English text is not transferred over. Another solution on google play store is able to do it.
I have been using this app for years. I pay for the server app. I am very disappointed in the recent addition of ads. I now have to each sad before I can use a app that connects to a app that I paid for. That is just bad business. As long as this continues this app is no better then 2 stars. Why do all you developers always my the point. Point is many of us paid for servers, it doesn't matter that it is free now. We should of been credited toward the ad free droidmote.
First i'll say this is a great app, it does what it says for the most part. I use this app alot to play games on my H96 Max Rockchip android tv box. Since the latest update, my gamepad touch profile list in settings has totally disappeared??? I can't play touch games with out this...Is there a way to improve hardware controller connectivity? I use Gamesir G4s gamepad controller with my android box and the connection drops with certain games it seems (Injustice 2 Mobile). Can you fix this please?
App works great. I've paid for server and gone back to use the client and they have added an ad paywall requesting an additional $3.49 to the client. While this might be effective in profiting from users controlling servers on other platforms, it totally enrages your existing paid customer base.
After trying a bunch of similar apps, this was the only one that had all the features that met my needs. Now I use this app nearly everyday to control my computer and it does a fantastic job. The developer is also quick to respond to any questions or issues which is a huge bonus.
Top Quality work. Really lived it. One suggestion though, instead of full 30s video ad ,make small box at the bottom or top permanently for ad. So that we dont have to wait 30s before using the remote. This app is best for my H96 Max Android Box.
If you believe the updates mandate purchasing the app a second time, simply lock those features until paid for. People will buy it if they want the new features. It does not matter how long ago I purchased this (I PAID YOU) but it was not 10 years ago, and it was more than 2$. Ironically Windows 10 is a free upgrade for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users. You making a paid app free then charging for its counterpart (previously free) is by definition shady business practice.
This app is just downright fun. With another rooted device acting as a server, you can control it with ease. Also, the huge amount of features and various controller layouts make this app a versatile tool.
Very bad experience with the last update. The worst thing is that we are forced to see ads even after buying it's server and touch profile creator from playstore. This is not fair. I have purchased it just one year earlier.
It works great on my Android Box, I've tried all of the remotes from play store and this is pretty much the only one that works... PLEASE add 1-9 number pad option like in a real TV remote and this app will be perfect
should be 5 stars... but there is a bug in the d-pad.. pressing enter is not recognized by droidMoto server.. i have tried installing both client and server on multiple phones... but all gave me the same result... I hope this can be fixed soon with an update
Works really good. However the new forced adds are making me consider switching apps. I don't want to be forced to watch a 30s add just to CONNECT to my pc...
This app is great, but need more future improvement and some new feature like we can edit gamepad button placement and resize them somehow the button is crampped and too tiny to press, and maybe another option for connection like bluetooth.
The all time Best among all of the remote control apps to control any os! One feature request though: Kindly add possibility to adjust UX elements as per user's choice. #ThankYou for creating this gem!
Great app. I am using this app for about 4 years to control my Android TV boxes. If you use Android TV box too often, this app is a must to have.
This used to be a fantastic app. Now, due to the ads, I no longer recommend this app. I paid for the server. Putting disruptive ads in the client is unacceptable.
Perfect app, am using now for over a year. Only criticism that it does not connect to last server ip address automaticly. Further 5 stars!
Only just discovered this app, what a life saver!! Literally every other app I have tried did not work in controlling an Androidx86 host. Great work guys, this is exactly what o was looking for!
To many annoying ads. Makes me watch a 30s ad everyone i want to do anything. The windows server is also a pain to install and not very stable.

Does exactly what I need. Controlling an Android TV box from my android tablet. Client auto disconnect causes NBA TV to stop playing but no big deal there. Using on Beelink Gt5
I've paid for the server app and been using it for years. Now there's ads and I have to pay again? That's lame man. Edit, feel like I was forced to buy this app twice so reduced my rating to 1 star
IT WORKS! Have more computers than input devices, but DroidMote solves it perfectly. DroidMote on Galaxy S6 to operate Linux desktop, just like using the phone itself, so easy! First startup after install server wouldn't connect, maybe because there was no mention of a password anywhere until I restart the server. After that, works great! Installed server on both computers so can connect to either at any time. Never drops connection, even when phone sleeps! Could use some more configurability options for the display/layout but not complaining. This app is worth a few dollars to get rid of the freakin ads it barfs out.
