DroneBase Pilot App

I have had excellent experiences with Drone Base. Recently they updated the app which would not work on my phone. I sent an email and within 24 hours they found a solution and updated the app again. I average one job a week with it. It's a good way to make a few extra bucks and gives me another excuse to fly. Since I tend to travel a bit, I just extended my work radius in the app. I'm interested to see how many jobs pop up in the area I travel. Highly recommend this app!

I would love to see what this app and company have to offer, however, the app crashes immediately. Their customer service and app support are completely unresponsive and ignore all attempts to contact them about the problems. The app crashing problem seems to be a continuous one from September 2019 and it still hasn't been fixed.

Poor instructions. App performs poorly. Required shots can be very difficult when houses are extremely close together. I was asked to reshoot after spending 1.5 hours due to issues with the app. I will give it one more try. Very poor experience at first try. They cancelled my reshoot.

Had the application for awhile. Hope this fixes some of the previous issues with myPhantom 3 and flying using your application. I just purchased a DJI Mavic 2 also. Would love to see some new jobs in the area. Sometimes it seems a few jobs pop up at once and within 10 minutes of the jobs are taken. i have done two jobs so far. I check your website and application out at least two to three times a week without notifications.

I tried to give the app a chance for 2 months, received only 1 option for a $75 job over an hour away in the 2 months. If you are wondering why it's so low, its because they take the lions share $300+. Not to mention the app hasn't been able to load in the past 2 weeks on any device and they have been exceptionally rude in regards helping with my problem. Their customer service is extremely slow and unorganized, I never was able to talk to the same person more than once at their company.

For anyone who has a problem with the app crashing uninstall this one and search the store for the same app with the white background. It is the updated version and works. This version needs to be removed.

Jobs are few and far between, and each mission is for a different client. There is mandatory online training followed by an unpaid training mission for each client, so each mission is paying just above minimum wage when you factor in total time required for all these things. Not to mention that when you do get a job offer, it's also been offered to every other pilot in your region. I have literally clicked to accept a job one minute after getting the notification and it was already taken. Amateur

Completed the registration process. I don't have the option to complete any trainings. Therefor no opportunities for missions. What am I missing here? I uploaded the required info months ago and nothing.... Update : over 1yr later an unexpected invite to complete training, followed by a test mission. I completed the training, now the Pilot app will not open. Apparently, may be able to use native DJI flight app, but not sure how convenient will be to group / mark photo sets for upload.

After spending time to set up profile and waiting for a couple of weeks, i had to email them to proceed into their "training." Only after completing the requested pictures and video of my personal property did they tell me i had to reshoot with a dji drone. It never says any of this if their initial profile registration, as it still has options or other drone systems (I use autel Evo). Big waste of time. Company is probably a scam in order to get pictures of everyone's personal property.

Buttons on app are not working (reschedule and other buttons on the mission page). I tend to have to use the website more often than id like. I am also an Android Developer. If you would like this issue solved please get in touch.

When I click mission details either on the homepage or in the notifications menu, I always get a "Page Not Found" error. I am forced to look at it on desktop. Mobile app is useless.

Terrible app. Crashes often in Android 9. Editing my profile is a joke. I've created and edited my profile several times and it fails to update completely. Tech support is also a joke. It's almost like the company is have financial troubles.

Completed profile and added my part 107 license. Never heard anything for months and support basically said "you'll hear from us when we need you". Definitely a waste of time, don't bother installing.

For whatever reason, the buttons in the app are now not working. Tried to accept a client mission, and could not do it via the app. The app used to work fine however, so I am hoping this will get fixed soon.

I have flown several missions for them in the last few months I have found the work to be very easy and I have learned a ton from completing these missions. I usually receive an email confirming my payment within an hour of submitting the images I captured for them and I can have the money in my bank account the next day. I just follow their very clear instructions and I have not been asked to do a reshoot yet. I wish they gave me more work so I could convince my wife to let me buy another drone

The app appears to not be working on my Pixel 3 xl. Immediately crashes after opening. Hopefully they'll get it working soon with more updates

unbelievable! didnt work and crashes then updated and worked perfect. uodated again and just freezes on background design. On an Note 9!

Crashes instantly when trying to open, was told have to wait for a fix, been waiting two months. Samsung Galaxy S10 plus.

The latest update fixed the profile error I had previously in the last 2 or 3 versions. Yet to fly with it but I see progress.

Very buggy. Missed several missions due to performance issues on a multitude of different devices.

App hasn't worked for months. Just crashes or gives an error when I click on anything.

Worked somewhat fine till the last update now it crashes everytime it loads up instead of when your attempting to fly with it.

Crashes as soon as it's launched. Stability has not been improved with this release.

This app has not worked for months. Have deleted and downloaded several times. At this point I can't even get it to accept my login.

Doesn't load my profile properly and tech support can't seem to figure out the problem. The format isn't good for people who travel a lot.

App crashes without opening on Note 10. Images required are sometimes impossible and you wont be paid. Overall poor app!

app hardly ever works. buttons don't do anything. freezes. crashes. useless.

Crashed as soon as I opened it. Galaxy s10+. It ins on an iPhone, but I don't use the iPhone with my drone.

Let's see, expensive drone, get certified to fly, travel time and they make all the money for once in awhile job! NOT A GOOD BUSINESS APP

5/13/2020 - Cannot open app. App crashes. S9+ android 10, no modifications. 6/8/2020 - Has anyone ever received a response from Dronebase on this or anything?
