If it could connect to my Tello Talent it would be an amazing app. I spent hours trying to make the app connect to TT. I watched youtube videos, read instructions, searched for error mistakes but without any result. If you connect first to the Tello's RTM wifi, the app shows an error web page and does nothing. If you first open the app and then try to connect to RTM wifi, the app initializes properly but unable to connect to Tello's wifi. I decided to look elsewhere.

Used with Tello drone. My 10 year old granddaughter enjoyed programming. HOWEVER, the program "froze" very often. I'd guess about 50% of the time. NOT ACCEPTABLE. We did get the "Abort Mission" to work by holding it down till it landed, not just tapping on it. This would be a great tool if it worked consistently.

App shows so much potential, with great features. Sadly, it's missing the main one - no camera block makes it basically useless. What makes it worse is iOS has the camera block. Another review shows it was going to be weeks away over 2 months ago. Android been forgotten??

Does not work on the new iPad mini. My drones class spent more time trying to connect than they did flying. Partially works on Android. It takes off correctly but nothing else is consistent. Abort does nothing. Don't tell me it's a tello firmware issue. I have the latest version.

This wonderful app is a great tool for teaching Math Science technology and Engineering. Now with the additional camera function it adds to the cool functionality. Make sure you have good illumination for your Tello drone so that it will navigate reliably and also ensure that you have the latest firmware for your drone. I've had a lot of success using this with a Tello drone. Kudos to the droneblocks team!

The app is good all in all, for anyone (like myself) who wants to learn how do basic coding it is amazing, but as I've seen in comments bellow, the biggest issue I have is that it doesn't have the camera option, what is the point of this app for a tello if I can't run the camera, as of yet I haven't found a viable way. Please make that option available, and I think people will be more inclined to rate with 5 stars like me 😁

Looks good but doesnt work. Using with Tello drone. Super excited to have my son use this program the drone but it never successfully completed a single time. It lifts off each time but after that its a wash. Abort never works. I lose all remote control to the drone. Had to go get it in the air....

Poor app. Worked the first time, but not after that. Takes off, hovers, that's it. Skips commands. Won't abort. Basically hesitates and acts like it doesn't know what to do. Fix it please.

It doesn't even give me the scratch table at all. It gives me the drone position info, gives me a moveable camera feed, but instead of getting the actual scratch table, I get "Web page not available" I'd suggest not just using an embedded webpage.

would take off and hover only. couldn't get it land even when mission aborted. update: got it to work with reinstalling everything. app works good now but no option to take photos or video.

drone just takes off and does nothing else. looses control and causes fly aways and no control where you have to swat it from the air as nothing else will stop it. own numerous other drones and am very familiar with them. phone is brand new pixel 3 xl.

no camera control. i think it is on apple version but not on android, do not understand why not on both. I would rate it a 5 if it had camera control, but I do not use the app much at all without camera use, that is main reason for getting a video drone.

Good idea for learning principles of programming but the drone will only take off and hover until the mission is aborted. All other commands are ignored. Others have noted the same so there is clearly an issue here that the developers should address.

This was the first app I downloaded after I bought a Tello. Great way to transition a toy into an educational tool!!! My sister who's in 3rd grade found this platform to be easy as well

Horrible experience. This app is very buggy. When I launch a mission the drone just hovers and doesn't even respond to the abort option. Don't download

My school district bought this curriculum a few month back. We started implementing them recently as it is keeping the kids involved and having fun at home.

This app doesn't work on my Galaxy 8s plus. And on my iPad pro it just goes up and stays in the air.

First testing of code works fine, any next attempts drone take off and hovers/slides sideways ignoring the code. Great idea, repair it please!

As soon as they have "video record" implemented I will set a 5! (That is apparently in the works) Works really nicely

Paired with DroneBlocks curriculum, this app is awesome for learning the basics of coding. Has a few awesome features for a block coding app

Tello does not show up in the menu. Not usable.

Trash app, ultra buggy, can't abort a code execution, doesnt land out of control. Very disatisfied Download Tello Edu

My drone take's of but won't do the flips on its own and the land so fix that and i will reward you 5 stars.

Very cool app, this works in tello...but how to take a pic or video?!
