The app is just fantastic for beginners due to a number of games to practice words. However I have failed to replay the games in order to practice more. I request the developer to help me on this or to add it since sometimes one may need to replay. I give it 4stars.
The app is very motivating and very and its like having a teacher. Like, focusing on mistakes. I love it.
This isn't app does not show an accurate representation of the Arabic language. There's different versions of Arabic depending on the land that you're from, and this app needs to be specific with the land that the Arabic comes from. Otherwise, this app isn't that helpful. This app is easy to use, as with all the other drops, but it's always the same complaint with other native speakers on other language drops, too. There's never an accurate depiction of the languages.
its a nice app for learning arabic, five mins daily (for free members). I like the pictures and romanized versions of the words. I think the app solely can't be enough to learn the language as it doesn't teach you the grammar etc. otherwise its nice to revise words if you're short on time.
I used this app about 6 months ago and have tried it again. I notice nice upgrades with colours and touching the picture to know the meaning in English. I like the sounds and hearing the pronunciations, it helps alot
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! teaches other languages too! but a really nice app, doesn't overwhelm you, and there are no ads unless you see them willingly for certain bonuses. i for one, am satisfied. as for the language part, i'm not sure if this method can teach us how to fluently speak the language, but it does help us understand it, which goes a long way
The app is really great, I love the idea. I'm not sure it helps retention that much, but it's fun, and that means a lot for me. I gave it only three stars because the selection of words is ridiculously not useful. Out of 2500 words, half of them I'm sure I'll never use and there were more than one hundred I had never come across in my own language. Words like trellis, toilet seat cover, allen wrench, tepee, infusion, conveyor belt, fist bump etc. They seem such a waste of time. You have the option not to see them, but then you pay for an app that only teaches you 1000 or so useful words. Also, these words are mostly nouns and a few verbs. On the whole, a great idea, but still a work in progress.
I actually love that it's an enforced 5 minutes. I have ADHD and really struggle to focus. With other apps, I tend to study for like half an hour and forget it all. 5 minutes a day is perfect, and I'm actually not going to get the paid version because then I'd lose that limit. It teaches basic Arabic vocab in flashcard format. There isn't much in the way of grammar lessons, and you'll have to study the alphabet more on your own, but it's a great way to get used to the language.
Looks promising. Clean interface. Good teaching approaches with different kind of quiz (matching / choices /etc) to reinforce learning. There is no verb category though (did I miss it?). I know it can be complicated with the different forms, but can you at least include the more common verb? Still on the fence regarding the subscription model. I wish the free daily limit can be increased from just five minutes. Will revise this review after I try the app a bit more.
This app helps achieve the fluency users desire but furthermore for basic users it would be more helpful if the interval between lessons is kept at least to 4 or 6 hours. No offense towards the great platform developers as this app fulfills the manifesto. Furthermore in the collection of the words if you repeat the words there is often a 3 second lag interval. It would be really appreciated if the developers may look into this lagging issue. The overall experience is heartwarming. Thank you.
This app is amazing for visual learners like me, and also for those who dont have a lot of time on their hands. However, for those who do have alot of time, you only get about 5 minutes before waiting 10 hours for another session without premium, which is inconvenient. While yes, premium does cost alot of money, just save up £150 for the lifetime version. It'll be worth it if you're really passionate about learning a language
very early days but the graphics are simple and the teaching voice is clear. repetition is good and not annoying. as with any of these, you clearly need to use the app frequently, go back over material- and be in an environment where you can say the words out loud to get the sounds right
Great app, bought the premium version to get more time to practice and also to avoid adds though they were not disruptive. One thing that they could improve is change the style of pictures so that they would have colour because currently some pictures even though they are done in a really smart way they are still difficult to distinguish one from another. Also it is great that this is classical Arabic though some words are archaic, for example, a mushroom and soup unless you've changed them in the past few weeks. Additionally, somebody suggested pink for feminine words and blue for masculine - I think that's a great suggestion because learning new words it is important to know their genders. Have some tasks or perhaps a new game where we could practice building at least simple sentences would be useful because that would include the concept of adapting adjectives to genders and verbs to persons.
Very good app for memorizing but I think they need to add sessions on learning how letters connect to each other. Even after doing the two alphabet sessions multiple times, you wouldn't be able to recognise all the individual letters in words. Maybe just something like having a picture of two or three connected letters and bubbles of the individual letters floating around and you have to sort them
I would live to give this app five stars, for the accessibility, quality, and function. However, being notified every hour or two that I need to spend five minutes is such a turn off. Even when I set a specific time to be reminded, I get multiple reminders. I use it less now because I don't like being bothered by an app.
It's a good app for learning Arabic language and easy to learn to speak Arabic language it's a great app thank you
The app is nice to use and most of the images are very easily associated with the words and sentences and the pronunciation is clear. There are a few cases where the spelling does not fit the sound and one cannot know which is correct and consequently it is almost impossible to complete the exercises for them. It would be nice to be able to report these errors.
I'm on my second lesson and I absolutely love it. I think the standout feature for me is the 5minutes countdown so even if I'm getting distracted, I get encouraged to stay on a bit longer. The graphics are fine. Only thing I'd have liked is the english translation of what is being shown as I can ascribe other meanings the image displayed.
Content is great only problem is it keeps crashing on launch
Loving this alot, it help to improve your learning.
It's very enjoyable to learn! Highly recommended..
Really good mental exercise game version. Timer and adaptive teaching. Can go as fast or a slow as you like though each session. Absolutely would recommend this for beginners and all the way to advanced revision. Paid version includes: Unlimited time/ practice more often per day All topics and advanced parts unlocked. Love the layout & paid opens all languages. It's worth getting the premium if your serious about learning Arabic!! 💝🥰 #Thanks creators👍 Nice set up and layout
Still learning just the alphabet but like the repetitiveness. plus doesn't just go to testing you when u still haven't learned anything. I hate programs that start asking u to translate when they haven't introduced anything except 2 to 4 vocab. eg introduce family vocab then suddenly expect you to translate sentences. I haven't seen that yet with this one. it just tests you what it has shown u so feel as though learning smthg.
i get that the limitations on the none payed version are insensitive so that we buy the (slightly) over priced subscription but what bothers me is that i can't see the library of words that i have already learned cuts me progression in quarters and almost ruines the experience. with that being said the product itself is amazing and is fun if they were to change this one thing I'd give it a 5/5
So interesting and fun . Easy wat to learn Arabic
I love this app except for the five minute limit. you cant use it for more than five minutes and once that five minutes is gone, you have to wait 9 hours for your next five minutes. its draconian. however, other than that it's amazing. just enough repetition and variety to help your memory along, you can skip out on words if you already know them, it's broken down by topic. make it free theres already adds!!
Great app, but it doesnt give enough time to practice, and the premiums to expensive. i wish there was a way to gain more time in a way which still gives revenue to the app without me actually paying, like with adds or something like that. But the fact that theres not alot of time makes learning harder because you constantly need to stop, and you dont practice enough to actually remember stuff. But apart from that, the apps really high level, and is full of various learning options.
