Brilliant concept... I've been looking for something like this. Just 2 big issues: the app keeps freezing/crashing, and also the vocab is not culture specific. "hand-mixer" is not exactly the first thing you need to know in an Indonesian kitchen, but you'd better know all the different types (stages) of rice...
The simple color palette, the cute icons, and the different style of quizzes... i like it! The 5 minute rule makes it very exciting and keeps my focus. I'm learning without getting overwhelmed. One step at a time.
I was very satisfied with the app, I used it longer than I year when I used the opportunity to buy the premium lifetime membership 2 weeks ago. But 2 days ago I got the information from my bank that the monthly fee withdrawal happened. And yesterday I got the second surprise, an email that my Drops subscription is expired! 😳 I would like to get a refund of the withdrawed monthly fee because I purchased the premium lifetime subscription. The loading of the app takes too long.
What a fun & interesting way to learn! You hear the word or phrase repeated many times so pronunciation is supplied but you also see a picture & the written word. And small sessions make it easy to fit into a busy day. My kids love it too!
Would be better if the time wasn't so limited as a method of driving the user towards paying. Even so its a useful app for a beginner to build some vocabulary in a few minutes per day, as an accessory to more intensive learning methods.
In the beginning the app worked perfect but now it keeps getting stuck! Need to continue re-opening the app within the 5 minutes.. and sometimes it doesn't react at all and stays stuck at the home page.
I know money must be made but the subscription options are just too expensive. I mean, I want to subscribe - especially since learning Indonesian directly impacts my life - but I'm not in a position to commit to such a high price each month or a $160 lump sum for lifetime. I'm not saying it isn't worth it, because the quality is there, I'm saying you have an impoverished demographic that can't afford to give you the support you deserve at the current price. Maybe a sale on subscriptions?
Very intuitive design and layout. Only downside is the animations take a little too long to move on especially when you only have 5 minutes to learn! But that's just my opinion.
What a load of FUN! 5 mins a day, all for free! Such an easy way to learn & actually remember! Have only just gone premium, thanks for the discount. Will edit after I've tried it out. Can't tap "yes" in text box below! YES! This app makes me happy!
You must try to learn by matching words to the silly drawings. Very slow to progress and reviewed words are not displayed with the English translation_useless. Continuous pop-up Ads to make you buy the full version. TERRIBLE !
The app teaches formal version of languages which is not so often used. I actually requested a refund but never got a reply. Then after 1 year, they decided to charge me another 50$ annual renewal when i hadn't used the app in ages. Now I am going to have to dispute it through my credit card company...
Seems a really natural, fun way to learn. Words stick in the mind, giving practice in pronunciation, reading, spelling with visual cues via pictures to reinforce the vocabulary.
Best language app I've used. Intuitive and wants you to come back for more. Some art could be improved, however, but no enough to knock it down a star.
Really great app, but wish it would start off with very simple words like YES, NO,PLEASE, THANK YOU...basics like that. Otherwise, love the way it shows picture, gives spelling and proper pronunciation!
Looks good .. and I'm still in the trial period.. I may buy it as it depend on many ways of learning .. visual and audio .. Now I'm using since one year and it looks good ...
This is a great app so far. I like the repetiveness to help remember words. I am also a visual learner so the pictures are great.
Five minutes a day is not enough to learn a language. The method is good but at this rate it would take years. Am going to start watching ads just for more time but would i pay 9.99 a month or 159 a year? No...wish it was more like duolingo or memrise so i could learn more
Appealing app. I like the simple images and the little tests to consolidate learning. Great for an absolute beginner.

Good app for easy learning any language. Learning process starts from simple basic words, so if you are confident enough buy pro or use books.
O it's just amazing! I definitely preferr this over duolingo. Though the five minutes only per day just leaves me craving to learn more. It's the only reason why I'm writing a review on this already great app! ^^
as a teacher and someone who travels internationally this is one of the best apps for language learning I have ever see. and used.
Really good for learning vocabulary. I wouldn't use it to learn a language by itself because it doesn't cover grammar but it's grear for grammar.
I haven't used the app very long yet, but I like it a lot! It's user friendly and it uses a variety of strategies to help you reinforce new vocabulary.
I was able to use this app and within 3 days to communicate effectively to an Indonesian interest! I signed up for the premium package, I'm a believer in this app!
I don't want to learn how to say American foods and butter/cheese which is barely even sold in Indonesia... Surely it's not too hard to put in things like nasi goreng, mie goreng etc??
Great app! My friends speak Indonesian and recommended it to me. Would be nice if you got 10 minutes instead of five but overall a decent app.
It's fun and easy to use and navigate, however I am having some problems. Quite a few words in Indonesian have a voice over that does not match the word written. For example, the word for "dictator" is also used as the spoken word for "director". Also a lot of verbs that start with "saya", are then pronounced as "aku" instead. I paid a lot of money for this app so it's disappointing that quite a few things are not accurate :(
