Best app we've found for learning vocabulary. We are even using it to help some of our Mexican friends learn English while we use it to learn Spanish. There is one issue I've noticed. Sometimes when finishing one frame and the next is a listening exercise, the vocal for the listening exercise starts too soon and speaks over the answer from the previous exercise so you have to tap it again to hear what it says. Other than that, it's fabulous!

This app can essentially be thought of as flashcards on steroids. You learn vocabulary words in a variety of ways shuffled amongst other terms/topics. You do repeat words, but each time you see it will be different. Take the word "el ajo" for garlic in Spanish. Once it will be the word and a picture of garlic. Next, a voice may say it and you have to pick out the picture from a lineup of other things. A third time you may have to do a small word search. Variety keeps it interesting!

I feel I'm having a lot of success with this app, knowing everyone learns well in different ways. This app works for me. There is plenty of repetition to help with memorization, the articles are included, and my favorite is they don't continue to supply the english words/translation which I find very helpful. I dont want to learn in terms of translation, I want to learn the Spanish via visual association. This app does a wonderful job of just that. 5 stars.

After trying several apps, this is the best by far. Even if you dont know a single word in another language, this app does a really good job to teach the basics for those who are willing to learn. Does a great job with word pronunciation, also. The match the word to the picture does good to permanently visualize that object to the word itself. In all if you want to learn another language, this is the app to get! 5/5!

just starting, interface is user friendly, clear visuals and audio, multi tiny puzzle-esque aspects that keep a user engaging. *update from 5/5. happy to subscribe to a year, effective, but could use photos instead of icons. it makes it harder for me to have consistent visuals to learn from. it becomes a pattern rather than stimulating. Maybe consider different images focused for more visual centric users? will continue learning

It's an interesting app but not what I'm looking for as someone with an intermediate level of Spanish learning as a baseline. It's odd, they ask you what your level of Spanish is, I said intermediate, but that didn't seem to put me at an intermediate level in the app it just started out with some simple food vocabulary. With only five minutes per day on the free version I'm not sure how this could get better and doesn't encourage me to pay for premium.

I really like using this app, it helps me remember what I learn pretty well though I do wish there were flashcards or a review that I could use. It has some issues with going into the learned section, it lags a lot when you click on things and will delay when you click on the speak feature, when you click it again it'll play multiple voices together when you don't expect it, other than that app is overall really great it's my most frequently used learning app. :)

A very different and interesting approach. l just completed my first lesson; it moved very fast, but that's a good thing. Also, appreciate that it's not the "SOS" format of most language learning apps. I think this approach really tests your quick thinking ability in general and with respect to language learning in particular.

It's great! Im a super visual learner and I love the design and the way they teach the languages. Although, some words such as "me encuentro con" should be explained more upon, because con means "with". Same as el niño, which also means child, as well as boy. Basically, some words just need more explanation. Other than that, a wonderful app!

When I started using the app, its method of teaching the language was very engaging. I feel like I can really learn a lot of Spanish by using this app everyday, and I like how it paces you at 5 minutes per day. In my opinion, that's perfect because the lessons aren't too small nor are they too large, and that keeps me from losing motivation to learn. I'll always have the time of day to use this app, and I'll gladly spend 5 minutes less on media and games to learn a language that'll last forever.

Quick and easy method to learn a language. It is literally in drops format--it hand feeds you new words in bite-size chunks. You can watch video ads to accrue more practice time. It seems to follow the same wording if you use Drops in a different language. Still, I'm in love.

I love it. my vocab is improving. But there is one major problem. It needs to display the English words alongside Spanish. When i answer correct, it shows the word in Spanish, says the word aloud, and does the graphic. But it does not also display the English translation. Eventually, i forget what words mean, and just associate them with a picture. Graphics for verbs and nouns are very descriptive. Pronouns and prepositions are confusing. Can you display English next to Spanish every time?

The interface is clean, modern, and colorful. It really helps me learn vocabulary the way I need to. My favorite part is that it pairs Spanish words with clear illustrations, but there's always the option to see the English translation of you need to. I love it!!

Overall nice concept to fulfill your vocabulary. BUT! There's no way practice what you've learned. No flashcard. You can restart session and lose your results and start learning ALL WORDS in session from very beginning! but if I haven't finished the session yet and want to practice what I already know. It's useless in this point.

I already reviewed this app once when i first started using it but I wanted to review again after using it for 2.5 days (yeah I am having a sedentary weekend haha). I am so impressed with how quickly one can build theor vocabulary for very general and very specific topics. The broad array of topics os amazing so if you are familiar with a language you can skip the stuff you already know like food or greetings and go into things more relevant for your purposes.

Just started. So far it seems to be good. There is a little too much repetition for certain words like el pan for bread. It must have asked me that 20 times. For other words, it seems to be the right amount of repetition. Will need more lessons before giving 5 stars.

Truly great and intuitive app, but only 5 minutes per day are free, otherwise I'd have given 5 stars. To truly learn in earnest (ie. as one does before a trip abroad ),you'll need the premium version at £59.99 per year with 7 days free trial to rope you in... Fingers crossed I, for once, actually remember to unsubscribe in time 🤞😂 🤣

The app loads slowly, some of the learning words are in English rather than Latin American Spanish ("el sleeping bag"), and I still haven't heard back from customer support. However, I appreciate the vocabulary, practice, and visual teaching.

have be using drops and drops Latin America for several months. I am learning spanish just for fun. it has been a great vocabulary builder. I am looking for another app that will supplement my learning. Maybe add a conversation simulator to help simulate how to use the vocabulary. ***also in the citys and shops. the word "la regadera" is vocalized as "la ducha"

A simple to use interface that makes learning new words absolutely easy. The task give you just enough interaction to motivate natural memorization of the words without even thinking about it. I haven't begin any portions pertaining to verbs yet but it's very helpful.

The games are not quite as intuitive as the app developers seem to think, so they are slightly frustrating for older learners. Also, simply because the learner indicates knowledge of a word doesn't mean that the learner doesn't want it included in the review exercises.

love the app, not the the billing. I thought the Valentine's day discount with 3.33 monthly billing.... not all at once. I want to keep it but if it takes the yearly sum in one transaction I'll have to cancel and I can't ever figure out that.

so far so good. I know alot of the foods (language I am trying to learn) already but hearing them repeatedly and being able to visualize with the pictures and hear them pronounced correctly is helping me retain the info so much better!!! absolutely recommend this app.

Drops is a great language enhancer, with an addictive mechanic and a self-limiting timer that helps keep me from over saturating my brain. It's not a full replacement for learning a language (I'm looking at you, Duolingo), but it's a solid vocab add-on

i just started, but i like the interface. i wish i could start with simple sayings like "pick up your fork" or "here is the fork" i know its probably more complicated with that, but it makes it easier to integrate the nouns into daily work.
