I like the game. One issue is that when sounds are muted, ads at the end of the game pop up with sound on. This can cause a major issue if I need ALL sounds to be muted. I'm fine with ads, but mute should mean for ALL sounds. Sometimes the game plateaus for too long and you can't get on the scoreboard, but overall, this is a great have. I like being able to add words, I like the challenge and relaxation of the game and the different models available. Just please mute the ads!

I played the original version very frequently. I do not like the visuals of version II. My scores have dropped and I can't really tell if the game has gotten a bit more difficult or it is just harder to spot words with the new graphics. Play only rarely now, really miss tbe old version. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I love this game, it's far superior to other word games because of the interaction of the countdown clock with the game play. Being able to customize the board size (number of letter blocks) provides variety, and the inclusion of multiple dictionaries gives depth to word selection. The leaderboard lets you play against your own best games, adding another level of zing.

I love this game! It can be as easy or as difficult as you choose it to be. Sometimes I want a distraction so I play the Relaxed game yet most of the time I'm playing the Lightning game. I like the challenge of finding word with as many letters as I can. No hiccups whatsoever, no ads (which I appreciate), and it has a beautiful layout. I'm addicted to Dropwords!

This game prepares you for other word games. you can change a lot of options: I set the display for 5x5 rows and columns, not to inlude QU so I get the Q + U as separate letters I have set it for QU as one, a big problem is when you want to use either letter Q or U by itself you can't. You can use your own words too. If you can't figure the game out fix it as untimed until you do. There are instructions included which makes it easier to play. Other word games can prepare you for this and this one prepares you for others.

I love drop words, I have been playing for several years. The 20 second is my favorite, it forces you to think quickly. The game helps keep my mind, clear of all my troubles and the terrible state of the world.

This game has major issues. Pausing the game brings up the PAUSED screen, yet the timer STILL runs out WHILE THE GAME IS P A U S E D. Saving a game does not work. Clicking Save Game does nothing. When clicking Resume SAVED game just shows a blank, black screen. The Highlighted letter is the SAME color as the tiles, making it very difficult to see. A lot of words are not recognized or acknowledged. This would be a good game, if it actually WORKED. But nothing about this game works.

The previous version was much more visually appealing. Really hate the white font. Won't be playing anymore, unless the darker font returns. Also, there was noplace to quit. Took a bit to get it to release control, so I could close the app.

Love this game. No longer works on this tablet or my newer Samsung tablet or Samsung GalaxyNote10+, so off it goes. I still have the original which works fine on an older tablet, but not the newer tablet....Hopefully for a long time...I uninstalled, reinstalled, still doesn't work on the Note10+...sad, especially since the battery on the tablet with the previous version took a dump. C'mon programmers get busy...PLEASE

Great game. I wish it kept a data base of all the words you ever found, adding new ones as they were discovered. It would be fun to build your own dictionary and look at it once in awhile to see how limited your vocabulary was. I'm always coming up with a word that I don't think I've ever used. Maybe after each game ended, it could list words you've never found before. Now that would be neat. Great game as it is though. Good work..

I loved the original version of this, so thought I'd try this version. The game itself is still as much fun, and a great way of keeping the mind active. My issue is with trying to play a 'saved' game. It will not open. Instead I am left to stare at a blank screen. It doesn't even take you back to the menu page. I will continue to enjoy playing the game, but will be increasingly frustrated with being able to open a saved game that had been doing really well.

Gave it a second chance, but.. anyone else have problems with game taking over and giving you credit for a 2 letter word before you finished highlighting what would have been a longer word? Sometimes you have to hit each letter individually and submit word because if you just highlight the letters it just sits there when you're done. Would have been fun if it worked correctly.

I loved the old version but don't like this at all. The font is distracting to my elderly eyes. Sadly, after playing daily, time to delete. I just want the option to use the original font please!!

I used to have v.1 and play it using my s-pen - it used to make playing much more comfortable because I have carpal tunnel syndrome. V.2 wasn't compatible with the s-pen, so I couldn't play much. I wrote to the developer and he was kind enough to fix the problem. I am very satisfied, especially because I consider this the very best word game!

only 4 of 5 because of a frustrating glitch. I really enjoy this game but several times after selecting a word it freezes or only acts on some of the letters, leaving the highlighted letter, costing points

I really like this game. you can play it different ways. i had the old version which gave you many more backgrounds and color of letters to choose from. bring back the pink colors. 😁

Love the game but the storage issue is STILL not fixed for Galaxy S9 after a few months. I get black screen still - and i cleared my cache and data and re-downloaded. Downgrading to 2 stars from 3 (was 5)

I've absolutely loved this game for ages and played daily - however, since the update I'm unable to open any saved game. It's a brilliant way to pass the time but it has now been rendered unusable!

Great game to pass the time and learn a few new words also. It can be a little wonky when saving and trying to recall that same saved game.

Was a great game but I just got a high score that I couldn't record because it put up an ad for another game on top of the screen where you log your score. Too intrusive.

I missed this game, so much. I really like the concept & have played it for hours before now. Thanks so much for the update and also the "badges", makes it more fun for a single player.

Poor selection of letters because grids are too small. Too much "eye candy" while searching. Shouldn"t be dismayed because all the similar word games I have tried in the Play Store are no different and I deleted them all.

Love it. I was looking for the older version of this game which I had on my previous phone and tried many before I found this one. I would download the older version in a heartbeat though.

The app opens and immediately shuts down. I've tried reloading. No change! Help!!

Unfortunately about 2 weeks ago the save function stopped working. Still love the game, but certainly hope to see this get fixed.

why can we not have a basic, straightforward font? I used to love drop word but now I just drop in now and again to see if the font option has changed.

Had a crashing problem which developer resolved and it works fine. Fun and engaging. Easy to play and fun.

the game started to play by it's self it looked like someone had taken control i then could not switch the game off or exit from the game and I couldn't switch off my tablet. uninstalled
