When I downloaded it, I had a blast. Then, it just stopped working and would kick me out of the app every time I open it. I hope this gets fixed, because overall it is a really great app and I enjoy making beats with it. Thank you for replying, your advice was really helpful. I actually deleted it and downloaded it again, but the souund pack with the problem of kicking me out is "Future Beats", so if you could fix the bug with that it would be awesome 😀 changed to 5 stars! EDIT FOR DEVS: 1)When I browse the folder where the app's files are, (internal phone memory), the sounds are there but I can't hear any sound of any soundpack I downloaded. I tried to transfer the files to my computer, and, same thing. The files are there but it's as if they don't exist. I hope I explained myself better this time. 2)So you can't change the sound engine? Or do I have to change it myself?
Best drum pad app on the market, hands down. It is the most responsive, nimblest highly-capable pad setup on the Play Store, and probably the App Store, as well. The quality of the samples/sounds of Drum Pads 24 is not rivaled, even in the "paid apps" category, and certainly no similar free app is close to competing in the 'quality/fidelity' arena. GET IT! YOU WILL LOVE IT.
This is a great app if you want to make songs and I live the fact that you dont have to pay. Granted you do have to pay for most sound packs but you can make your own or use the free ones. Also if you are bad with coordination (like me) then you can use the loop feature instead of having to click every single time.
Good app better than most of the drum pads on playstore , fun to play around with/kill time. Almost every sound pack is accompanied by an instructional video. Can set loops, record, adjust pitch,insert sound fx, and change tempo and pitch. Again very good, sound,well rounded out drum pad app, better than the majority.
Hands down "An Awesome beat machine" great sound effects ..No annoying adds!! Best part is a variety of FREE downloads.. Ive tried out multiple beat machines in the past and this here is one of the coolest drum pads ! Just The free version gives you so much access.. i could imagine the full version 🤯 its definitely a keeper! Thanks to the developers for creating an app with the user in mind!!
I'm trying to play the Black Colors sound pack (main reason I downloaded this app), and the pad sounds are cutting off. I tried figuring out what was the issue, and it's that for whatever reason, it doesn't allow pads longer than 5 seconds, even though their sound files are over 6 seconds. It results in choppy nonsense. I don't understand why you'd limit a pad sound to 5 seconds if there are packs that use sounds over 6 seconds.
Love the app but theres a few problems, first alot of the packs sound just alike or unoriginal, secons coins cost a little too much, i know you guys have to add taxes and stuff like that but atleast raise the number of coins slightly or lower the price please. yes, it seems like a lot of coins but really isn't because most of the good sound packs cost over 150 and no one wants only one soud pack and having to buy coins repeatedly is stepping a little out of my budget.
I love this app and it has the potential to be worthy of 5 stars, but the fact that the ONLY way to get access to the "premium" packs which outnumber the free ones 10 to 1 is to pay $8 EVERY WEEK seems excessive and downright greedy. Atleast with "Drum Pad Machine" you can watch an ad to access to premium packs. It would be one thing if it was easier to use this as an instrument but it's more like a toy. If you could loop record it would be a huge step up but all you can do is step sequence.
The touch sensitivity wasn't very good. I couldnt tap the button and get an instant on time response. Maybe just a play toy because you cant be creative with it. Not many options to edit your sounds. Presets were highly contrasted to each other and they sounded like multiple sounds overlapping each other; off tune, off time. It was confusing to use as well with no clear description of the tools. Also, it would lag a little. If you want to pass time this, any other app made, is a great choice.
why do we need coins to get more sounds it's just ridiculous I want a app that I dont need to pay for other sounds, the drum pad lighting on and off constantly is just a bother also the tutorial coming out of nowhere is anoying there should be an option of yes I want the tutorial or not. it isnt bad just needs some improvement on a few things and I'd rather just be able to open the app and explore and figure out the things all by myself this app just isnt for me but it could be for other people
The only reason I rate this app 3 stars is because I dont like the fact they changed the sound pads to only 5 seconds, we used to be able to do it as long as we please but they changed it to 5 seconds which is making some sound packs very unprofessional, they are out of sync!! I hope they change this in the future! Overall I think this app is ok at the moment! I might change it to 5 stars in the future when this problem changes!
I used to love making music on this app. I spent probably somewhere around 50$ at least for buying "coins" when that was the currency. They changed it subscription and I lost all my coins in the process and was forced to uninstall because they wouldn't reimburse me for the old currency. 1 out of 5 stars but I'll change it to 5 as soon as i see more free packs or something because I didnt pay for remove ads for nothing.
I use this app a lot. But. the premium price is ABSURD. 8$ a week..!? thats more than my television. That is unfathomable to me how anyone would willingly pay that much. The app has weird audio clipping when using some packs. And the app can't keep up with the inputs sometimes so it ruins a song you are doing. There's a lot that needs to be done with this app.
It would be perfect if on some sound packs, the sounds didn't get cut off. Take out of control for example. If you go to one of the bass loops, it sounds like it'll finish but cut off right before it does finish but I don't hear this in the video or audio previews so is this just a me issue?
One of my most-used apps, simply because of how easy it is to get into. The amount of soundpacks available is respectable and I appreciate the variety. The only issue that I've run into is that occassionally a pad that I press will flash but will not play its assigned sound. Other than this, it is a very fun tool!
Very good app! Everything is perfect although the weekly is kinda expensive. A monthly subscription would be preferred. One thing I REALLY NEED is midi support so I can use my launchpad with it as android seems to have a slight touch delay or whatever that's putting me off. Thank you! When midi is added, I'll edit the review to 5 stars :)
I'm not raring this low for quality because this is an amazing app, I'm rating it low because it's fundamentally different than the iPad version, the apple version has WAYYY MORE samples and packs, way more responsive. That should NOT be the case. Make both versions exactly the same, and it would be 5 stars all day
Great app, but too bat it's making a difference between iOs and Android. On iOs you can play longer sounds on a pad .while on Android you have 5 seconds limit. It's been like this for years..you still do nothing to fix it but you put out tons of new songs. Come on guys..support Android too please, don't think it's that hard.
As i have used it from 2016 and even gave some feedback about what must be improved this is an great app but, looping of sounds like boss rc-505 than this app will knock the game market. As it needs improvement in sound editing or looping timing of looping and some sound variations..hope this feedvack is good.. I am give this feedback again because I don't want to uninstall this app but now its getting boring..
Just to clarify, i really did have 'the shape of you' pack WHEN IT WAS FREE, and when they removed it i did write a review in asking where it had gone, the replies made no sense, you just kept asking me to look again, I looked yesterday and it was renamed 'shape' and is only now a paid for item, so of couse 'shape' has always been paid for, you rename it! i know i used it before when i didn't have to pay for it as i have some of the rough samples i made, i just wish i got to polish them up!
i Love this app, but i have noticed a change. I dont like to watch ads but i do like collecting coins to unlock a preset i want. And i see you changed things up for money so....if you can bring back the ads to collect coins while you keep the changes you made i will be more happy.
I noticed that since a certain uptade, the sounds had been glitchy. Like when you press two buttons at the same time, some sounds dont play or have problems. It is kinda annoying and it does it on multiple devices. Could you maybe pin point the issue and fix it ? I bought some packs i would like yo use them to their maximum potential haha ! Thank you.
