Drum Sequencer (Drum Machine)

Very very very good app. Sounds and usability for creating patterns are top notch. Even in free version ads are not bothersome.. but I would pay more!! if they added some more acoustic sounding drums with varying decays, adjustable reverb (or delays) on individual instruments, and for some reason I'm not able to play the drum triggers in real time. Increased the buffer size, but is that a limitation of my androids's processing power? Haven't found another that beats it.

I don't know what happened, but this app lost a 9-page composition. Then I tried to re-create it, and when the 2nd attempt was nearly complete, the app scrambled it up, apparently losing 'every other' beat (every odd numbered note) of the data, and scrambling up even more. I have other files in the app, and they are fine, but this one file seems to be cursed. I suspect that there is a bug in the filing system. It seems odd that no one else has reported this. Using Motorola Turbo 2 phone.

I love the app, and it's exactly what I've been looking for. However, I use it to make music on YouTube, and for some annoying reason, the export feature doesn't work. I've tried every file type available and have looked everywhere in my phone. It says, file saved, but it's no where to be seen. I really need this to work for YouTube sakes. If this could be fixed, I will definitely continue using this app

Very happy with the app. Easy to pick up and understand. Has some great sounds. If the to-do list is gonna be completed, it's gonna be a masterpiece (I'm hoping the mixer means that we'll finally be able to change the volume of certain drums and cymbals for every hit instead of having one volume for the whole song). An option to start at a certain point in a sequence would be highly appreciated, too. But even despite that, it's a fantastic app.

Possibly the best Drum machine app. Perfect for any kind of genre. Most of the sounds are very realistic and high quality. The sequencer patterns are easy to use too no need to get technical or advanced. I myself am a professional metal drummer but sometimes I need to have a different sound of drum sets for a different album. Aside from that you wont be dissapointed with this app unless it doesnt keep the timing but It barely lags and takes up little space. And the best part of all. Its all free

Awesome. user interface is easy to navigate. And having the option and ability to program a bass line with the drums is a tremendous boost in writing. My only critique i have is in pattern sequencer mode, it would be nice to be able to rearrange the patterns without having to actually program another sequence pattern that is same as one earlier in the pattern blocks. A copy and paste type scenario would make this an absolute must have for aspiring writing musicians.

Hi, good little app, bit of fun and good quality sounds and took a little while to remember all the functions and icons and where things are. Also it should be noted - Beats = Bars, not beats/bar, so - 2=2 bar template, 3=3 bar and so on. Precision is the bar measure, so 6 would ÷ bar into 6. A shame that it does not ÷ into 16, (max of 12 currently) so cannot create semi quavers in a 4 beat bar, but hey! I've had great fun during the shut down. Thanks

Omg. Where has this app been all my life?! Stumbled upon it by chance. I am an experienced and pretty good rock and metal guitarist, been searching for a simple yet easy to use drum sequencer. The ones I have come across just seem so confusing and hard to even comprehend. To me this app is like "love at first beat". It looks like I can easily program a whole sequence. Seriously considering paying to unlock ads, to show my appreciation for these devs

Nice and simple interface and easy to learn, but two things seemed to be missing for me, and therefore a little bit of a deal breaker. 1/ There are no basic FX like reverb 2/ I couldn't find any way to re-sort your sequences. If these do exist and you can point me in the right direction, I would be more than happy to use this app again.

I like this a lot. It is very straightforward. It lets me save songs, but it won't let me export! I allow storage access and Android forces me to Screen Overlay settings. In there I can't change the settings, so I can't export. Please fix. My device runs vanilla Nougat. It's a Kodak Ektra. I hope that helps. TIA

Great app for getting those groove ideas from your head into a reality. Can program grooves anywhere you like! Good set of in-built samples to mess around with. Fantastic for what it is. Would love to see a velocity feature implemented, but I understand that that's a more complex multi-sampling, higher processing power kinda deal.

I was looking for an app I could make some simple drum beats and export wav or mp3 to use in other software (audiodirector) where I could then record some guitar/vocals to make some simple demos. this is perfect. I make a beat here then export wav file to folder then transfer across to my laptop for use in audiodirector. just what I was looking for. there looks to be lots of kit types and options too which I'm about to check out in more detail.

Good in principle and quite intuitive, but pleeeeease put hi hat on the top line, snare second , and bass bottom as in regular drum notation. That would really help teaching and practicing grooves more efficiently if the layout followed the standard convention. As it is I'm having to fight my reading instincts... Speed is in % chunks which can be OK but bpm could be even better if possible..

Low floor tom isnt usable, there is no high floor tom, and if you want to go beyond 16th notes the only option is to rewite everything in half time, but other than that everything works pretty well, 16 bar limit per section is a bit annoying tho

its a decent program but has some touching up do. first off you need more drum packs. one of the most popular are the trap hi hats. secondly make it so you can rorqte the screen. and lastly make everything you put in the sequencer base velocity the auto adjust makea it impossible to have a hard beat and to do hi hat rolls. othet than that it has some good potential. will keep this app downloaded and.fidle arpund with it and wait for the updates.:D

Wow, just found this. Have been using Teenage Engineering PO-32 and just wanted something on phone to practice with while PO not accessible. It feels very similar and is very easy to use. I actually tried a few (high download count) alternatives first but they generally feel like toys/games compared to this which feels like a proper drum sequencer!

really slick app . full featured , easy to use , unobtrusive ads (though , i did purchase the no-ads option) . honestly i found myself impressed at every turn . love ťhat you can compose your sequences into songs ; especially love that you can use external samples . just wow !

One of the best drum programs i have ever used, on any platfrom, bar none, as far as interface, functionality and bugs. Just can't access the save directory for backups and the sample library is pretty dry. Not sure purchasing helps either of those issues, haven't tried, yet.

There is a bug when I tried to export the song. First sequence in my song didn't exported. It started from second sequence. Also, any change before exporting song didn't saved. I created 3 sequence: intro, verse and chorus and then duplicated the intro section after chorus as 4th sequence and duplicated verse section to the last as 5th sequence. After exporting the song, it go back to 3 sequence only.

The ads are absolutely dreadful. Yet, this is without a doubt the best and easiest drum machine app on the market. I've been using it for 5 years. I've tried others but none can compare to the simplicity and straightforwardness of Drum Sequencer. I would love to see it on IOS.

Im a drummer/song writer who puts the rhythm groove with sequencer verse then a sequencer chorus and maybe a bridge. This is the best little drum machine Ive ever used. Its not to complicated but not to hollow. Good sounds but programming is a A+ 10 stars! Its a must have for a beginner or seasoned pro. You wont be dissapointed.

These guys think they can waist your time with color coded, push button nonsence. They lead me to believe in their app just as I was saving something that I composed, only to find out that the files on Volcano Apps are .drs, or .msq, with no way to convert them to mp3 or wav. What the hell is this? Selfish control freaks, I say. The sound samples are good. I was getting ready to purchase. Not now.

Awesome app and easy to use. My only issue with it is lack of control over loop speed. It would be appreciated if you change the drop down menu for speed for something like a slider or enable the user to input a custom amount.
