Honestly, this app is a LIFESAVER! I've been playing drums since I was 9 years old (19 years) and as a result of being dumb and not wearing hearing protection and being in a second rate punk rock cover band in high school while not wearing hearing protection the entire run of 'Party in the Dark'... I unfortunately developed tinnitus, on top of already being extremely tone deaf. So basically I couldn't for the life of me establish a decent drum tone until I stumbled upon this amazing app!!! -LC

You need to work on your in app purchase security. I love the app, but the in app purchase security disappoints me. This is coming from the person who tried to get the lifetime purchase for free. Will be waiting for the next update to see some improvements.

Can't use it after I paid for it. Has mic permission but doesn't detect any sound. Changed sensitivity and nothing at all. Waiting for a response from support for several days.

It seems very good and has already rescued a new drum from a bad experimental tuning while getting me there much faster. It's a bit annoying that I can't just say "I want the reso at 400Hz to start", I have to get the drum in the right ballpark and can't lock to a Hz value. It's also a bit fiddly to use (can't we have Material on Android?) But it's so useful I bought lifetime within 30s of tuning my Gretsch snare.

Great app .. Bongo tuner is in Beta, but works great. I highly recommend this app. Love the frequency charts and range recommendations. Very helpful.

I was convinced that I needed to buy a new snare because my snare sounded like poopoo peepee but that was only because I can't tune if my life depended on it. This app literally saved me like 500 bucks. I now feel like a real drummer with this app lmao Thankyou!

Really easy to use when tuning your drum kit as well as all the extras. Great app

Pretty much turns your phone into a (less efficient) tune-bot. I'd give 5 stars if the app updated to perform any better than it does now. The overtones make the pitch sensor jump all over the place, making it difficult to get to the right point, but once you have the tone you want (it can take a while to get the correct reading) there is a tone lock in feature that eliminates the overtones completely. cool app to save some cash on a pro tuner, but plan to take at least an hour to tune a 6pc kit

Good alternative to Tune-Bot. I tune my drums up by ear. I then use this app to fine-tune. Many people don't realize that you are supposed to hold your phone at each lug to tune. You then rotate the drum (not the phone) to each lug. If you rotate your phone instead of the drum, you get different readings which aren't true. You can also choose how you are tuning; low, standard, high. I think this is used to filter out unwanted frequencies.

As a Drummer for nearly 25 yrs. I was skeptical, but after using the app, my mind was made up. I was amazed at how great my set sounds. I'm used to tuning by ear, the app is much quicker and easy to use. Beats spending a half-hour on a drum tuning by ear. I suggest finding the drum's resonate frequency first, just tap on the side of the drum without heads on. FYI, I got the lifetime subscription. It's worth it.

I think that this APP is awesome.It is easy to follow even for a non geek like me. I was able to understand the reason for tuning drums to notes and the intervals between the drums. I have been playing for over 40 years but never gave drum tuning much thought. This APP showed me the frequency range for each drum and let me choose the high low and interval. My drums have never sounded better. My band mates noticed the difference at the next practice. I have nothing but praise for this APP.

Amazing app for all drums. I was able to tune my toms to my liking with this app and before I was not happy with their sounds even after watching many videos on tuning. The graphics on the app are top notch and the interface is easy to use and does not fill the screen with options to overwhelm the user. User support by the developer is the best I've seen. He responded quickly and answered questions even on a video just for me explaining pitch bending. Super job!

Paid for a month of premium and it is still showing me as a free user so I cannot use preset tones and still have ads. Edit: So far have bumped up to 3 stars for fast support and attempting to resolve the issue. once the issue is resolved I'll certainly be happy to bump up my rating again. overall the app is quite good and does exactly what you expect and more.

Excellent app. had it from the first release on Android. had issues getting to the new version but I emailed the support and they had me up and running very quickly. This developer really cares about the user base and is very active to keep the customer happy. As for the functionality of the app? Amazing time saver and very accurate.

My snare and toms finally sound like, fantastic! What a great help for me, hope this will transfer to my new phone. Lifetime onership with updates, what a deal.

This is a great drum tuning app you can use it to set your drums to where they should be and then you can play around with different tunings and always get back to your original tunings. If you ever have a problem the application developer is available by email and generally we'll get back to you quickly. You can buy the drum tune product but you'll be wasting your money and you'd have to pay for batteries and remember to bring the thing with you. DrumtunePRO is easy to use.

This is an awesome app with the most respectful and helpful staff! I had a small hiccup in the transition from the old app to the new one. Bram was right there to help me out! If you own a set of drums you should own this app! Seriously, it's super easy to use and helps to tune your kit fast and right. There's more than just tuning options in it as well. Worth more than the price in my opinion! They definitely have me as a customer for life.

Easy to use. Some features could be better explained in the tutorials. The interval and tuning charts are particularly useful. I was able to tune my 5 piece kit in major 4ths in about 40 minutes. When I was finished my kit was tuned better than ever before. This software is totally worth the price. Well Done Drumtune PRO!

I bought this to tune my new skins on a very old Tama drum kit. Once I got my head around the logic and the occasional misreadings from my phone mic, I set abot tuning a pre set rock sound from scratch on the whole kit. Result? Boom! Fantastic sound. Five different drummers used the kit over a weekend and were all highly complementary of how it played. I highly recommend this app.

App won't read correctly in my Xiaomi K20 Pro, Reso function is also not working will change my review once the problem is fixed

this isn't very helpful for me ive spent 2 hours trying to get my snare tuned and I was trusting the tuner the whole way. wow what a frustrating waste of time. I dont even know if in the end the tuning was near what i wanted because i hit the lug again to see if it was right and each one was off by 30 or 40 so if the first time i go through set each lug to 'perfect' tuning and go back and hit my snare again it says +40 or -7 like is this a real tuner. have a great phone so doubt its my hardware!

the app is great .. I've got no problem except the free trial , can't you make it for unlimited use ? cause some of us are not able to purchase the full stuff..... & one more suggestion , how about you set a frequency for each snare, Tom etc... it'd really help.... especially for those who don't know how to tune drums.... like I said earlier, the app is great.. given you 4 stars because of the purchase part😅😁
