This app was no app. I got a tenor drum and I need a app which tells me the correct tuning for it, because I got 3 of the drums on the tenor out of tune. This video didn't provide any type of assistance
Was always against Tunebot..until l tried it..and realized how accurate it is...now won't use anything else...BEST Invention ever for drums and drummers...thx overtone labs..
Very useful for tunning and saving your preferences
A little more work is needed for the interface.
you litlery have to buy there product...
saves me 20 minutes trying to tune my snare
it saves time
Waste of time
A lot of people complaining about lack of tuning ability, but that's not even what this app is for. This is for finding what pitches you should tune your drums to, which it is great at! You need a real tuner to be able to do the actual tuning or just a reference pitch and your ears.
As a drummer you owe it to yourself to own this and the acompanying tune bot. Saves me about 20 minutes in tuning every time and I get the exact sound I want. Only draw back is that it has a hard time working on high pitch snares.
This is a tuning guide to help determine which frequencies you should use when tuning your drums for your chosen sound. It's meant to accompany their tune-bot drum tuner. As a new drummer this is super helpful, and makes using my new tuner a lot easier, drums sound awesome now.
Great tool for drummers that play in various settings. My drums sound awsome always. Pair with G-Strings Tuner app and your drums will always sound great!
Great little helper for the Tune Bot. Excellent for someone who wants perfect intervals & the ability to repeat the same tuning exactly. This app is a great starting point to find your sound.
App redesign was nice...as to transition slowness complaints, well tuning ahead of time seemed fine for gigging to me.
It's suggesting I tune my toms way higher than I ever would, and the intervals between toms are locked to major thirds. Why not let us customize this? Also, why not throw in a tone generator so we could actually use this app to tune the drums?
Wouldn't tune my kit any other way. Would be nice if I could actually calculate numbers..." hertz+hertz = note"
The best tool to tune drums!
Wonderful app and easy to use. Vary helpful
Love my tunebot love this app
It can't tune my drums
Great app. Does what it's supposed to.
Just chart calculator, no function
It's a frequency calculator. Nothing more. Could you please create something that actually tunes drums? 😒😒
Wait for it
I own the tuner that goes with this and it's great. This app, however, is awful. It's poorly designed, slow, confusing, and not very functional. The latest update was like painting a 60 year old rusted out car sitting in the front yard.
These guys shut down idrumtech with frivolous lawsuits and outright lies. Technically, they could attempt to sue ANYONE who can tune by ear. Anyone who uses this app - especially any musician who's basis revolves around creativity - should be burned at the stake. Don't support this company in ANY way. You can still find idrumtech out there for free - and you don't need any silly hardware to use it.
This is slow, bulky and inaccurate. You have to have a $100 piece of equipment for this app to mean anything. What if I wanted it all on my phone? Oh yeah, you shut those ones down... Don't worry, there are better tools coming that'll leave this piece of rubbish in the dust.
Would be 5 stars, except for one major issue; when only two toms are selected under drum set tuning (eg 12 and 16) it suggests tuning a full octave apart. This is just weird, wrong and sounds awful. The tune-bot pdf guide table sensibly suggests a perfect 5th interval for two toms so why doesn't the app do the same???
