Great app for practise and gives me a huge range of rhythms, styles and speeds. Great for keeping my bass timing rock solid. Way better than a metronome. Good price for so much material from a real drummer, not a machine. Mauro was also very helpful when I lost my credits along with my phone, and helped solve it with a full credit. I would give it ten stars if I could.

As a bass player looking to practice my time feel and develop my rhythm this app is really terrific!! So many styles to choose from! It's really worth it to get the full package of loops, the value is incredible. Additionally, Mauro was very helpful and quick to reply when I encountered a small glitch. He resolved the problem just like that! Highly recommended!!

I'm a professional musician. This app is a must have! I got all the loops (so worth it!) and practicing feels like jamming! It's very well done, there's so many grooves to choose from. I'm getting older and I can't focus on practicing like I used to, and to a metronome. I like to have something more musical instead of a metronome, and I love the styles and descriptions. With this app I find a groove I like, put it on, and then just jam, work on whatever I'm at. It provides a musical context.

What can I say. I was introduced to the app by a Jazz musician, professor at University of Cape Town college of music. After trying it out I immediately sprung for the full version. The beats are incredible, attention to detail, feel, nuance.. It's my daily use app, it's my metronome. Can't say enough good about it!

I play brass instruments, and often find myself at a loss for words when trying to communicate with a drummer. This app gives me a huge chunk of knowledge that I've been missing! The loops are seamless, and have text descriptions to help sift through them. They are also great to practice improvisation against. Thank you so much for making this app!

As a drummer and a musician for seventeen years this app is far superior than others I've tried. I'm super picky about drum loops and this app is amazing! Helps me write music and jam. Would like to see more loops like 6/8 feel and metal but a great library and I really like being able to purchase the loops I want for a very fair price. Love it.

I love this app! Some great beats and easy to use. However, I think there was a glitch in the download of Songo 7/4 - you can't turn the clave off! Would be great if you could fix that one 😊

Love it. You should always have a metronome nearby when you're practicing, and this is basically the coolest one out there. As a bass player I use this religiously. If I don't have a drummer nearby I'm using this, and sometimes I still end up using Drumgenius to explain a beat in a rehearsal. If knowing what you're doing matters to you, get this app.

Incredible practice tool for the Jazzer who can hear chord changes in their head, but want a nice solid groove to build off of. My one suggestion would be that having changing styles (ie Swing>Latin, Waltz>Swing, two-feel>four-feel, etc) would be an even greater advantage, especially for those just starting to explore metric and rhythmic modulation. (PS, shoutout to Jens Larsen for reccomending this in his recent "Top 5 Super Useful Apps" video. Money well spent imo)

This is one of my all-time favorite apps.The playing(in a comprehensive plethora of styles)is stellar and the authentic grooves are played by humans. If you are sitting in a room by yourself and don't have a really good drummer to play with, this is a great practice option.No,it doesn't replace live interaction with another human player,but is LIGHT YEARS better than those cheesey,square loops found in other apps and stomp boxes. Pitch and speed of the loops are adjustable,too. Buy this!

This fantastic app is like playing with a real (great) drummer. It is fun and useful to practice with. The choice of patterns is superb, and in my opinion it's very much worth to purchase the whole loops package. Customer service is also quick and effective, done by the author himself.

It sounded amazing but the 3 free loops I tried after install (which appeared to just be downloaded from you tube) played back as just white noise. Hence 1 star rating. The preview worked OK so I'm not sure what the issue is. My phone is a Samsung s10 so up to date enough to not expect to set device issues

I really love your app. Wish I could download more than 3 though. It would also be cool if there were transcriptions of the drum beats. I am learning to read and write out my own beats. I am constantly trying to learn new grooves. And there are not very many apps out there like yours.

Drumgenius is my favorite rhythm app by far and I've recommended it to my musician friends. I use it mainly for songwriting. It helps me figure out the best rhythms to go with my existing songs and also gives me new ideas for melodies to go on top of the rhythms.

I use this app every day as a middle school band and orchestra teacher. Kids respond way better to a drum beat than a metronome. One problem, though. Ever since the latest big Android update, the app is accessing my microphone and the beat stops whenever there's a loud noise. Drum apps in particular shouldn't do that, right?

I've found it great for practicing comping on piano and guitar, too. And that's just the beginning. Can't wait to get to play over all the rhythmic alternatives it offers. A truly outstanding, one of a kind tool.

Pretty good app but only three drum sounds available for free. There are better apps with many free drum beats. However, full version is worth it as it has 400 loops that work for practicing with most types of songs.

Good quality but the loops seem to aimed at drummers for learning purposes, rather that as a 'drum metronome' for other musicians. Loads of jazz and fancy stuff hardly any country, country rock, mainstream pop/rock, Americana etc

A must have for improvisers! My professor recommended me this app during my undergrad studies and I swear by it now. I had the issue where loops were static but uninstalling/reinstalling fixed it completely! Thank you for this invaluable tool.

Excellent selection of rhythms. Great for practicing an instrument with, as a source of inspiration and for learning about more exotic percussion styles. Well worth the money.

Must have for musicians of all levels. Really easy to use and a huge library of beats. Love using the metronome with all the different rhythms.

Wow. The free version comes with 3 free downloads. I purchased 50 more for less than a coffee at Ziggi's. It has really made playing my Native American Flutes more satisfying. Even though I'm 1/8 Choctaw, I've struggled trying to cozy up to a traditional "Carlos Nakai" style (though I love his music). The Brazilian and Caribbean styles available on this app are perfect for me.

I have been using it now for years for my bass practice. Great app. Excellent quality loops . Could use some modern app-type updates eg. playlists, but overall user friendly

I'm sure this used to be a great app but I had to get a refund almost immediately. I purchased the full app and it would just show an error message each attempt at downloading a beat. Pretty disappointed
