DS Driver App
The app makes it easier than ever to ensure drivers are complying with their statutory duty to carry out a daily walk-around check and report any defects found. The app guides the driver through the complete process of performing their walk-around check. Against each item to be checked, the driver has to either touch a green button to say it is OK or touch a red one to report a defect. When a defect is found the driver can choose from a list of predefined common defects or enter a free type description. Up to four supporting photographs can also be included for each defect.
For operators running Coach Manager, the app seamlessly integrates the functionality of the Online Driver Portal. It allows drivers to view a list of the bookings they have been allocated to. On selecting a booking, the driver can view its full details and then be guided step-by-step through each stage. When ready to start the driver presses a button to confirm they are setting off, and then presses it again at each pickup and on arrival at the destination. With each press the app records the actual time and location and updates the display with the details for the next stage.

A current software subscription or maintenance agreement is required for one of our three main systems (Coach Manager, TBS or VMS) to use this app. An installation of Coach Manager Online is required for the Coach Manager integration.

Great to use, especially as i can use without data/wifi then upload pre-start checks when in town. However, when i have checked it's all up-to-date at end of shift, and have a few days off, then when i check my diary for next shift without connecting to wifi it is showing i have shift But details are blank so I cannot check which vehicle i should be doing my run in. Do i really have to write it on paper? How about a "flag" warning may not be up-to-date instead of blank diary day? Thanks.
Slow and unresponsive. Data in for trip is usually wrong( wrong info, missed stops, out of order. Wait for it to get to black screens to provide mileposts
App keeps crashing and theres no explanation offered, just continues with the error message randomly on my phone causing disruption in whatever I am doing, seems the app continues to run in the background as even when I have logged out app still continues to run. no solution offered as yet. Be careful what you install on your phone as theres no reason for this app to be running in the background.
App won't work ,with my new phone despite putting in the correct user name and password.. It says syncing data then invalid user name and password.. have re-downloaded the app a few times and still get the same response.
I have a Samsung Note 8 and work FIFO in Pilbara WA. The app takes forever to load and quite often doesn't. Keep having to re login. Until suddenly it comes up. IPhone users don't seem to have same issues.
Terrible GUI, completely unintuitive. Crashes frequently and can't reopen partially completed reports when it does, so you've to start from scratch again. Waste of time.
Apparently after updating this app will not work on my phone which is an android. I have done everything that you have asked to do and still I can't get into it.
I like this app a lot my work uses it and it is really good I use it every day the GPS signal is normally on point every time I can check my vehicle and there is a record of it every defect from every driver records with a Flick of finger
After login, it says Synchronising Data, then it freezes and comes up with App not responding. Can't use it all.
The app works as expected, but i have never been able to add photos to my any report, is this an app setting i need to change?? Paul
Despite trying to create an account again (I have used this in the past) I can't get it to open. 'Invalid log in'. Absolute useless waste of space.
too slow to synchronise. Needs to be able to attach pictures already on the phone. Needs to be able to attach multiple pictures at once
Hey I downloaded the app again and after I get into it none of the features work as it comes with the following: error downloading diary updates: error in service. What can I do?
Requires my password to be reset every week or so. Randomly deletes options (diary usually). It's no use to me without diary option. 9
Wastes way too much of my time to synchronise data and refresh diary every time I push a button.
app okay when it works, can sometimes fail to start up and always crashes!
Rubbish. Crashes more times than it should. Cant defect while on checks.
This app is horrible. I have to constantly redo my password and restart my phone for access.
Does not seem to work on my adroid phone...says no wifi when i am trying to connecr to it. Phone works with everything else i have.
Can't get in to the App if you forget your Password and it has no Option to Change the Log In Password for the Driver.

I cannot log into the drivers app with any vehicle,it's saying no template for vehicle.

Easy to use and does exactly what it needs to do
App won't let me login, even after trying a reboot, and reinstall. After entering password, the screen goes white for a second and gives the impression it's going to log in, but then just goes back to login screen and says invalid password etc. Seems most of the android users at work are having this problem as well. Apple products seem to work ok, but not android for some reason...
