DS get
With DS get, manage your downloads anywhere you are with your Android Device, directly to you DiskStation. In addition to viewing your Download Station status, individual task information, controlling key settings such as download schedules, DS get also has an inbuilt browser to conveniently start downloads, and integrates with Chrome. You can even use keywords to search for content, just like in Download Station.

It appears to be useless and abandoned. I'm pretty surprised by this as I just got my expensive Synology NAS and I was sold on all the new and shiny supporting apps that go along with it. The app complains that i must update to DSM 6 ( The actual latest version which I have already installed is DSM 7, go figure) It also tells me that I need to update Diskstation server, but it's already on the latest version as well. What's going on here Synology? Are you losing grip on the basics?
Used to work perfectly, now I can't change upload speed limit. It crashes every time I tap to change it. Forced to go through browser and use the desktop interface. Maybe they'll fix it next year.
Just wished the app will let you search the RSS feed. An issue I notice is that when you back out of the app, it makes you log in again but the NAS shows that you never logged out. If you back out of the app, the session should still be active or logs you out.
Very raw in development. I cant even connect to BT. Browser does not allow me to type URL, always overwrites with visited URL. Dont see any use, yet, with this app. Edited 7 March 2021: Getting better with Bt connectivity. Keep it up!
No synology app from the DS range looks that great but like most of the DS apps (DS cloud excluded i mean no SD card support jeez) it meets my functional requirements. Better to have an ugly functional app than a pretty but useless app (Moments synology whats that all about). Could do with a tabbed browser but worjs with chrome so happy days
Won't log in with a quick connect ID from outside home network unless you check the HTTPS box. On other DS Apps checking the box isn't needed as quickconnect works out whether HTTPS is needed or not. Otherwise very handy for triggering large downloads onto your NAS when on the move
Absolutely stellar app. I can control downloads to my server anywhere in the world with this application. My phone becomes a portable server control center with the utilisation of all the Synology applications. Cannot recommend enough.
I am having issues with not being able to log in to this app even though all my other Synology apps work fine and this one used to. Reinstall seems to fix but only temporarily the it stops working again soon after!
How can Synology make an app so bad? Takes over 2 minutes to log in. It's quicker to just use the web interface. Absolutely horrible user experience.
it works. needs more options for downloading though. things like priority, selection of files(sometimes this is possible, others not?)
This needs to be supported. Notice no responses from synology. The search results from DSGet dont match the same directly from DownLoad Station directly on the NAS. Something is not right.
Use to work but its not working now. When tried to download a file, it says failed to connect to synology NAS, although NAS is up n running andncan be connected via other DS apps
Does exactly what I need it to do. One suggestion is that the user be able to select multiple files at a time before marking not to download.
The app stopped working after I upgraded the NAS firmware to DSM 7. It's now useless. Very disappointing from a first party application
It works, but could really use a UI refresh. Also does not fill screen properly on 18:9 aspect ratio phones.
I'm amazed that a company supposedly serious as Synology, would propose such a shameful app. You can't even enter an archive password. You can't do anything really... all of that in a buggy environment. Truly appalling. Edit : just went crazy with your nightmare of an app for the gazillion 's time. I'm truly learning hate with this piece of s**t. Please allow yourself to be shameful for this debacle of a software, seek self respect and rewrite the damn thing from scratch!!!!
Please update the GUI, it really looks outdated. Other than that it works great!
Awesome apps, but it lacks on modifying individual file download speed and Synology needs to implement DARK THEME on their apps URGENTLY.

Giving a 5 star as the app is being developed but need more features. Why cannot we connect using quickconnect id?
this app's browser can't show on desktop mode mostly website doesn't allow to download on mobile mode many website doesn't allow downloading from URL please
It actually has a great mobile interface. Easy to use and is fairly intuitive. I do think an important piece of information is missing from the "transfer stats" and that is how many seeds and peers you are connected to. Especially seeds, sometimes you want to check you are connected to at least one seed or there is a seed in the swarm. Only when it eventually stops downloading before you have the entire file that you realise there are no seeds available.
