DSC Security Keypad
This app works with an Envisalink 2DS or 3DS card connected to a DSC Power System Panel and LAN wired into your switch or router. It can be used with a wifi or ethernet capable phone or tablet connected to your router. Use of the EYEZ-ON service is highly recommended but is not required.
DO NOT expose your Envisalink IP connection or the HTTP page to an unprotected network; communication provided by the Envisalink card is not secure.
This DscKeypad app and more is included with the full DscServer also available on Google Play. The DscServer extends the Envisalink card to allow self monitoring and secure remote access, and extends the Envisalink TPI to support multiple DscKeypad clients. The DscServer can become part of your total home automation system, rivaling those like Rogers Smart Home Monitoring, Time Warner's IntelligentHome, and more. If you require external access (outside your firewall), use the EYEZ-ON service, or use the DscServer (with it's built in DscKeypad) or an SSH server bridge. Again, see my developer's website for details.

Great app. Looks very similar to the real keypad and it displays the zone names instead of just numbers. More importantly, sent email to the Developer and he responded the next day.

Finally! Someone that creates an app with the user in mind. Flawless and quick.
I rarely review apps but this one deserves it. It literally gave new life to my 20 year old DSC system. The only significant changes in security systems in the last 20 years have been in the user interface. This app with the Envisalink card has brought my system up to date so I can have full control from my cell phone. You will spend some time configuring the app but it is well worth the effort and Mike answers all enquiries promptly and with great patience.
Annoying warning that can't be disabled. Running over a secure VPN, but app thinks I'm not.
Really good app and I like the functionality built into it that I didn't see in other apps.

Was looking for the evisalink app called allsecure I used on iPhone and since I switched to android samsung note (why didnt you all tell me of its brilliance before) and this app is even better. Cool interface able to do everything on main screen where as before on the iphone app I had to switch tabs which was slow. This app works perfect. All I did was enter my password and the IP manually under settings. Didnt even need a restart. Great development here! Tell you spent time thinking about the user.
Works once a while. If I type local ip works most of the time about 30% chance socket error. If I type public IP with opened port works first time then socket error. Disappointing
Failed initially to find it. Manually entered the IP Address and then it found it right away. App works great with PC1832 panel

Great app works without problems.
As I'm sure this works great for the newer dsc security systems, I'm an old school guy and have a 4020 commercial panel at my house with the tl-250. I was hoping the app would work but I cannot alter the ports to 3060 and 3061. I'm sure there would of been more problems if I had connected. Would love it if this app or another one would of worked. Could of easily sold it to a number of my clients easily.
It gives you total control just like the regular wired DSC control pads. Easy to connect a single phone and for multiple phones or tablets you use the DSC server. I use tablets mounted on the wall as keypads now and nothing beats the look and functionality of tablets as keypads. Great work Mike.
Nice app, when you're local. While I can certainly setup an SSH bridge - it would be awesome if this app were able to use the EyezOn Mobile Portal link (I'm guessing they don't provide API like access that way - would be great if they did. Would make secure setup a breeze and allow access from anywhere. Looked at the DSCServer and would happily buy it but seems like it needs to run on a always local device of some kind. I have Raspberry Pi's running for a variety of services - so likely will add this to it...
Thank you. This app is perfect. Please come up with a paid version that allows you to easily program the panel. I would certainly be in line for that.
No setup help. Craptastic design. The standards for security apps for eyezon are really bad
Spent hours trying to connect and no luck. Looks like it would be better/easier app. then going thru eyezon to control alarm. Wish I could connect.
A very nice bridge to your keypad. Very convenient and helpful when troubleshooting! Someone needs to write in panel programming scripts to aid the non professionals in adding zones, changing zone attributes, etc etc.

Great app could be better, is there any way to use the envisilink web portal? I would be willing to pay for an app that does that.
I like this app but recently noticed that it bypasses a lot more zones than the one I select to bypass. I select bypass, continue, and then zone 7. When I select OK I get a keybus buffer overrun and if I arm and check the eyezon site I find numerous additional zones have been bypassed.
I used this app first time and is very easy to configure and use. It works great with my existing DSC1832. Only I could not get program done with mobile instead of keypad. I am very impressed with this app.
