HOW TO USE?THIS HOW TO ENABLE IR RECEIVER IN THE CAMERAS
-for canon cameras you have to set the drive mode to 2 sec\Remote this will enable the IR receiver in the camera.
-for Nikon go to menu>shooting modes>select quick response remote.
-for Sony and Pentax please search how to enable regular IR remotes in those cameras before you rate the app.
the only thing you have to do is sliding right or left until you find you camera brand.
This app works on HTC devices with built-in infrared port (IR).

Will not work on my rooted One using CM11. Emailed Dev in hopes we can figure out a solution. 2 stars only because at the moment it doesn't work. I have seen it in action in my friend stick One. Its a nice app.
I'm using the app with my Canon dslr on a HTC One phone. Simple easy to use. It just works.
The bounce effect makes me a little dizzy at times. And I wish there was a timer for Nikon remote also. Other wise a fantastic application, works like a charm.
App is ugly and could use a better UI though Tested with an EOS M

...that was the time I needed to be sure that this is an excelent App because now I don't need a ML-L3 Wireless Remote Control and have another use for my HTC One M8 Infrared function.
Using HTC One (m7) with Canon 7D. Awesome, because I tend to forget my remote when going on trips, but the phone I wouldn't forget.
Works fine with HTC One and Canon 5D mk3. Just remember to set the camera to self-timer/IR drive mode.
I have the ML-L3 (which I love). This app works exactly the same. HTC One M8 and Nikon D7000

Works great on HTC One with Nikon D7000. More convenient than the original Nikon ML-L3 remote for me.
Using my HTC One, I can remotely release the shutter on my Nikon D40x. Definitely worth the small price and saved me $40 I would have spent on a dedicated shutter release.

Tried this today. Once I figured out how to enable the remote it worked amazingly on my Nikon D5000. Great app!
Not working. Crashing after selecting Nikon type of camera. I don't even get to try to use it. It has been like this for months. I want a fix ASAP or a refund
I purchased this for use with my fiance's Nikon D3100. It wasn't until two days later when I checked her camera to find it didn't support IR. Emailed dev and he issued a refund promptly.
I am using this on a HTC One to remotely control a Canon EOS 7D DSLR. Works perfectly. I no longer need to keep spare button batteries for a physical Canon remote, now all I need is my (always sufficiently charged) phone. By the way, it is nice to have the Infrared transmitter built right into the HTC One.
