This app never worked good,but I used for check my bills,but now is not working at all. If ,for example,I click on "manage",it will keep on try to connect unsuccessfully,like if there were no network,but with nothing wrong with network. Please fix it,DSTV is expansive ,therefore I think they can afford to develop a proper app,thank you.
Have gone from the smooth operating DSTV now app to a slow frustrating app that makes multichoice look like an amature in the digital world. You have more than enough comments and poor rating for you to actually do something about it, but it is clear, user interface and experience is not high on your priority list.
It's just unfortunate Zero stars is not an option in order to write a review I do not understand why Multichoice is not taking action regarding this app knowing there are plenty of negative reviews. I downloaded this app a few days ago it does not work at all. It kicks you out at the password stage. The captcha delays, it takes forever to load. Do not bother downloading this app it will not work at all it's a complete waste of data. Dstv IT guys please do something about this as in yesterday.
Junk app. Yells you to earn rewards. Yet I went from 98 reward points to 93 all will doing everything asked to earn points. Also freezing all the time. Just says 'oops! Something went wrong' and just like that you cannot do anything on the app for atleast 2 days. Horrible app and waste of time
This App should be taken off the app Store. #1 takes forever to load. #2 is heavy on the data. #3 IV been trying for weeks to change password, it's either the app malfunctions or it doesn't want to load at all. Thank you DStv we appreciate the fact that your always going for the Xtra (money) mile when it comes to your customers.
The idea was brilliant. Even the app itself, offers such a convenience especially in setting reminders. The rest, however is a complete & utter failure. Each time I want to use this app, I have to Uninstal & re-install. Such a pain!!!
I regret why I downloaded the app, first day & already expiriencing problems. I hired a movie on box office but didn't get it & I made payment. When I try to chat to the consultant the app doesn't allow me to type or respond. The 1st one who assisted the previous day couldn't get the problem sorted, the following day the app doesn't respond & they can't see that I'm logged in. Yuuuu headache nje
I downloaded this app so I could vote on big brother and enter competitions but I can't, this app is futile scamjust like the content on multichoice its frustrating a waste of time, money and data. I'd give it no star but it's not an option
Useless app! I've downloaded it twice and just wasted my time and data. My favorite BBM contestant might have just be a potential top 5 because of my 1000 points for my vote. Unfortunately I couldn't vote because the app isn't working Mxm! 😡
Complete rubbish! The app freezes and sometimes doesn't render well. I tried updating my address. There is no search function on the list of suburbs (good luck if you stay in a suburb starting with W). My suburb is not listed and I can't enter it manually. Can't even search the TV guide. Seems like a step back from the old app.
Latest versions of the app does not work. Has been telling me 'no Internet connection' for the last few weeks. I tried updating to the latest version just this morning...no luck. Also freezes sometimes moving between different screens. Developers you have a lot of work to do and please do proper due diligence and testing before releasing any updates. The app used to work fine but the last few months the updates have messed things up.
"Oh Snap! Something went wrong." This message is constant regardless of the competition being entered, or the reward being claimed. No point in having the options if users can't access them. Maybe get this fixed instead of limiting how many users in my household can stream for the R900+ I spend each month.
Always playing the same movies and takes too long to reconnect after your service has been suspended due to nonepayment.no specials even when times are this tough on everyone the disconnect at the axact day making you pay extra whilst knowing very well that paying late is a cash issue.was promised that I won a free month sometime back but never happened so for me personally it's been a bad experience all-round
Not happy at all i used the app to cancel my subscription on the 25/01/2022 only to find 3 months later im still being billed. Contacted the call centre where im told they did not get an instruction to disconnect and nothing shows on the app but i stopped receiving service from said date clearly daylight robbery as i now paid for service i did not use.
The app is nonsense. I have been struggling to downgrade since forever. Now I had to pay a reconnecting fee, plus a subscription that I have never budgeted for.
Pathetic trying to use this app sometimes, thats if you can get into it. Had to uninstall and reinstall to even gain access. After that all I get is a Mzansi screen that you can't get out of and it keeps telling me I have failed to log in - please retry! Really? - about as good as dstv itself - the cost of the subscription and the value for money with the constant repeats!! A rip off monopoly.
So far I've had no problems with signing in/singing up and paying my DStv subscription online. The only thing I dislike is the fact that I have to leave the app and enter a payment portal on an external browser --- it would be much simpler to embed a browser into the app. That's just lazy development.
The new version of the app is awesome, it's faster and there's so much more to do. I used to use the app once a month to pay my account, now I come back daily to catch up on entertainment news. The Rewards program is also very cool I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next.
I am trying to enter a code to get back into catch up on my tv .I fill in my phone number and pin and it will not take it .so I can't get to fill on the code given This went off when I was away .Also I can't get into showmax the circle just goes round and round.I have a yearly account for some years
Trying for over a week to change my login password. Everytime I receive an email that it had been changed successfully, but when I log in its still tge old one???
It needs a simple layout to pay EFT where you tap when entering app and other easy access situations that's why people try getting the app for easy access not multiple choice
What the hell! I get emails and SMSs and the app tells me my email and phone number doesn't exist. Previously it worked fine why not why? Fix the app.
Switching to holiday home is always a challenge, success rate 3 out of 10. Calling customer care and speaking with a consultant is less frustrating, unlike the app managers the consultants are on top of their game.
Has the right functionality all in one place... But, slow, crashes, times out on screens... meh.
We llearn a lot of things like latest news, and what is happening around the world at any time. We also ģet advertisements of different things that are of benefit to peoples.
This app is frustrating, I can not do anything, I can't even open my rewards.. it just becomes blank, I have tried deleting and re installing it but still
Absolutely horrendous attempt at a customer focused app!! It would be funny if it wasn't so damned frustrating!!

Multichoice please use some of the subscription fees customer's pay to work on developing a proper app. After all its the very same customers that need access to the app to assist them, myself included. Sadly always a frustrating experience with this app. There isn't anything easy or convenient about it at all. I still have to the call centre.. Disappointed !
