It used to function but is incompatible with the latest Samsung S8 & S10 phones meaning the Yamaha hardware has lost its functionality. The hardware is great but the company's attitude to product support is very much wanting.
Too bad you can't go to the next song when using the Bluetooth feature on the TSX-B235WH with the remote, only volume control.
Frustrating. If I set my alarm for 12:30 a.m. it only shows 00:30 why it's doing this is beyond me it's like it's stuck in military time?
Couldn't find the playlist on the music page. Unlike the one shown here in the picture.
App navigation is not intuative. Unclear layouts that are badly designed.

works on my Note10
I've had this a day now, using the Lx170 speaker and two things are apparent; 1) the controlling device system sounds are not able to be ignored by the speaker and 2) signal continuity can be affected by the type of device ( phone vs tablet) and hence proximity (my phone needed to be within 3 metres and a direct line of sight, my tablet didn't require such a close proximity nor dlos). But, as a bluetooth system, it didn't fail to connect to any device, and the equaliser does work.
Bluetooth doesn't seem to be pairing with my new sony Android but it worked on my older iPhone. Not sure if it is phone or software that's causing this.
Painless setup, quick connection, stable app. It makes the B72 experience better.

Cannot tune pair FM frequencies on Tsx-B72. It only works with odd decimal frequencies. e. g. Cannot tune 97.8 MHz
Nice app, but I can't connect to my TSX-B72 when the alarm radio is playing. This means I can't change the radio volume when it is playing by alarm.
It used to work fine until the last update. There's no volume up button in the app, connection with the radio drops off sometimes, switching between player modes not working, unable to turn on the radio in the app, etc. Maybe it's just my mobile, but it's frustrating.
What happen to the last update? Im using galaxy note 2 the lower version is much compatible with my phone

Latest November 2020 update switches the way this app plays music to allow the use of any android app or streaming service instead of having just its own inbuilt media player. This is a smart move as it means relit devices will work just like any other Bluetooth speaker. Can't fault this now, works on android 10 aok and especially good working with fiio music app.
