USED to be helpful. I will not pay for an app that consistently misses blocks of data, is not user friendly, and freezes up my phone. I've called several times, been told to uninstall/reinstall, and it's still absolutely useless. It was helpful to see daily usage when it was free and the data was actually there to be seen. Now it is more frustrating to use than to just pay the bill! Useless app. Don't bother installing and certainly don't pay for it!

I have been on board since the Smart Currents pilot program. That worked perfectly till they pulled the plug on it and went to their first energy bridge. That was a pain to get working but once it worked I had no issues. Ever since they discontinued that and sent me the latest energy bridge I've had nothing but issues. The new app is complete garbage compared to the old one. I want kwh not just watts. App is constantly missing data and crashes everytime I use it. And I get charged for this?!?!

The new app may look nice at first glance but when you try to navigate through it, it's not good. The rate/kwh is too high so it's always looking like I'm going over budget. (Need the ability to edit that value if not going to be accurate) The gas useage graph Y axis is off so it always looks like I'm way under budget. Monthly graph showing useage trend is gone & that was one of the most useful features of the app. Bring back the old version or fix these issues. This is not worth the monthly fee

I'm saying the same thing everybody else is saying. After the latest update I cannot get the daily/weekly monthly/yearly usage and can only get the right now activity. It was really helpful and I felt like I had control of the gas/electricity usage when it was working. Also, I have tried uninstalling/downloading and disconnecting/connecting the app and bridge gizmo. I just uninstalled/installed the app again and it's working.

I started with the original insight app and energy bridge. Both of those products had some kinks to work out and eventually I gave the app 5 stars. Then I was sent a new energy bridge and had to update the app. I didn't even mind the $1 per month charge, which I figure at some point will be $5 or more. My problem is that the app is just terrible. It's not very user friendly. I realized the other day that I could no longer see real time usage and the last usage I could see was from October 8th 2018. I have mailed the energy bridge back. SMH!!

I have had this app since DTE first came out with it. When they started charging a fee for it, I decided it was worth the fee. It has been working great but all of a sudden it crashes everytime I try to open it. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it but it will not allow me to log in. Then I got an email from DTE Energy saying too many failed logins had locked down my account and wanted me to reset my password, which I did. But still will not let the app open up.

Pretty much useless. This is to work with the DTE energy bridge which worked fine when first received. The app was apparently updated and the energy bridge no longer connects. Returning the bridge to DTE...this was a supposed upgrade to the original energy bridge which I could never get to work and returned. Continuously get the "error pairing message". Had great hopes for the new improved version...which I guess was an improvement since it did work for a while.

The most useful features are locked behind a paywall of course, and on top of that the app crashed every time I went into the settings page, clicked on a setting to show the toggle, and then backed out. Might be useful if you spend the monthly fee, but I'm not going to check if they can't even get the settings page to work.

Used to love this app but the new update is too clunking and not as easy to use as the last version. Constantly freezes and won't load the next option you click and always says Data Missing even though my device is properly connected. Overall, the app is now useless to me because I can't see any of the data I used to be able to see.

When this app works it's amazing! I used it a few years ago to help decrease my energy usage significantly. Now that I need to do that again, the app has turned to garbage. It has only provided me data one out of the last 8 days. The data from the previous week also seems inaccurate considering that 2 days in a row everything from outside temp to my hours working from home were exactly the same but according to the app, one day I used twice as much energy as the other. Please fix this app!!

When this product first came out all areas of the app provided accurate information. Since the update my billing date is incorrect. Beginning and ending. I was told there was no fix for the issue. So why have that section if its incorrect info?? With all the 1 and 2 star reviews one would think that DTE would notice something isn't right. But at 1 and change from probably a few hundred thousand people per month why change is probably what they are thinking.

Before DTE upgraded this app, it worked great for me and gave me lots of useful information. Ever since they did their wonderful upgrade, it has become useless. After several attempts to reinstall, it still won't give me daily use information and leaves whole weeks blank. VERY FRUSTRATING! I also contacted DTE and received an email requesting information, screen shots, and a promise to help troubleshoot the app. Then I never heard back from them. Total waste of time to download the app.

I've had the app and the bridge for about a week a now on a Samsung Galaxy S5 with Android 6.0, it works. I like the UI, it could most certainly display more technical information. Make a basic view and technical view. I would really like it more if I could connect it to my Xfinity Home. To the developer, good job on the UI keep working on it.

I like this app, it allows me to see real time energy usage. I like that I can set a limit to how much I want to spend. My fiance is annoyed because I turn things on and see their usage, some things shock me (like the Keurig). We've bought energy efficient bulbs and turned the AC up. After the trial usage for the Energy Bridge is up, I plan on keeping it, as it's only $3 and, if youre diligent, you'll save well over $3.

The new update is awful and so confusing to navigate now. Yes I have the free version but I always had a good idea where my bill would be and comparing day to day. Now the charts are all over, it takes 2 days to update 3 days ago usage, and overall messy. Dont fix something that wasnt broke.

Can't believe DTE Energy have no shame asking $1/month for this under-developed app!! Probably they wasted Millions of $$ in this garbage. To connect with the Energy Bridge gadget, this app restarted itself about 12th times, maybe more. I'm using Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Bridge can't connect itself via Bluetooth. Update: After reinstalling the App, I'm connected. But what's the energy saving feature of this? It doesn't give me usage bills for every equipment or appliances in house!!??

Still Literally the worst usage chart. Still Next to impossible to see any sort of information. We still need real charts use anycharts. Show us the data durh csv! No ability to export data. Still lacks ability to connect to any smart device. Still have to use trinity login on the router to grab live data without the app. Give us api endpoints or I'll reverse them! Useless application and it's in Java.. Security is broke the second this app hits baksmali. I've seen better logic in lolcode

Buggy app. Here's what I'm experiencing. I'm the white circle it tells me that my usage for a particular day was 15.9 kWh. However, on the bar graph it shows that it is 27 kWh. The bar graph is wrong. When I checked the iOS app everything was showing up exactly right. They need to address this bug because all the calculations are off because of this. Contact me for more information and I will provide screenshots.

App is regularly missing large blocks of data from the server and immediately crashes every time I try to set up the internet connection for the smart energy bridge, so it's basically useless.
