DTO - Poker Trainer

This is the only GTO trainer available for Android. Very limited at the moment, only four spots available with subscription. I'm really hoping they add some 100BB spots. With that said, the graphics, controls, and user interface are very good. I prob won't re-subscribe unless they add more content though. The dev should make ranges and evaluation available on the free version. Edit: Well done adding the evaluation to the free version. Plus one 🌟!

Got the cheaper version of the subscription. Can't say it's very good tbh. It's more suitable for beginners to have a 'feel' of the therotical optimal. For more experienced player you would wonder the why the gto would suggest so and there's no answer to explore especially on the bet size selection and 3 bet pot. It deviates a lot from my program on computer.

It's ok and fun for a day. This is not a learning tool, to learn you need to know how to construct your entire range, you cant see how to construct your range on the board pairs. So DTO telling you to shove a certain combo on a certain flop is pointless if you dont know what other hands to do it with. If this app comes out where it has a feature where you can press a button and it shows you what hands its choosing each option with then i will gladly resign up. Until then i will never use.

The app itself is pretty good but all of a sudden it started saying I had network connectivity issues and I can no longer use it on my mobile device. Still functional through the website though. So content 4 out of 5 stars functionality 0 out of 5. Since I am posting from my mobile device it clearly is not a network connectivity issue. (update) So I attempted to comply with support and take the screenshots and copy the text for the network error. For 3+ weeks it has been giving me this error and when I finally go to report on it, the next time I open the app it loads correctly. The only I can think of is I did uninstall/reinstall before posting. I am upgrading to 4 stars instead of 5 because I am in IT, I hate gremlins, and it randomly deciding to work is not what I consider a solution.

Every time I try to reset my password the app resets and makes me request another password over and over again. I would have subscribed a long time ago if I could actually get into my account. I tried that. Website is to slow to load on phone and offers the same problem. I am doing this on a pixel 4 and have no problems with other apps or websites. I will try it once more on my desktop, but probably need to go another way.

I'm not happy that the chance to re-play the hand was removed from the Grinder level and placed onto the High Roller version which is a significant jump in cost. I've never seen this before on a paid app. And there isn't even a trial for the High Roller version so we don't have to commit blindly to something we might not find value in or need currently.

Free version is fine. Grinder tier doesn't offer much. There is no access to the solution. There is no explanation of how the scoring system is derived and so IMHO the evaluation is pretty much useless. If we had access to the solution it would make sense to practice with DTO. Also are these starting ranges GTO? I can't see any welghts. It might teach you how to play particular spots like a B F Skinner button clicking pigeon but I can't see much other use. I really wanted to like this. Sorry.

Interesting idea. The free version needs to offer feedback on turn and river decisions to be a useful trial. The flop decisions were mostly straightforward so it's difficult to assess how useful the app might be. Stack size options suggest it's geared towards tournament players but the 6max format to me suggests more ring games so I'm not 100% sure who it's for.

The app is fun to use and the graphics are clean and easy to read. The founders are easy to get in touch with on social media platforms (discord, twitter) to answer questions which is also a nice bonus. Additionally, it seems like the development team is consistently improving the product and adding new content. A+

Good tool to improve, granted you have to input the human element to figure out why your incorrect play was bad, at first I thought that this was going to make it harder to learn but it means that I have to figure this out and once I've started to learn from my mistakes, the app conditions you, after playing 600 hands I started to see my abismal percentage slowly improve as you start to grow confidence, this app will expose how bad of a player you are so be ready for it, be open to learning GTO.

Flawed app. When I try to register and then go to my email for the verification code, I come back to the app which flicks back to the signup page and then it generates a new code, so it's just a vicious circle.

I like the app alot, just 1 thing i wish it would explain the actions we take on the flop turn river like (raizing, folding or bet sizing) it would def def get a 6/5. I can still look that sh** up but just my 2 cents. Either way the app is worth it, cheap and affordable for great value in return.

Such a great learning tool, saw improvements in a few days. Never stop learning though. Only thing it would be good if the app could give a brief explanation of why a certain bet was being made.

I have been using this app aince day one! Love it!!! Exceptional skills can be achieved while using this app, very useful to learn how to react during multi table tournament situations.

I really like the app but I've begun having a problem with it saying I have a network connection problem. I uninstalled and tried again same issue.

Unclear about why you should play a hand a certain way and seems to vary from hand to hand UPDATED REPLY: I wouldn't say I'm experienced but also not a beginner and feel I get some help from the app but a lot is left unclear and frustrating, I have emailed you... still waiting for a response, seems like they'll reply to reviews reasonably friendly and then ignore any attempt to email them in response

Very unique and feels scientific. My only issue is the font unreadable. The graphics is too small..

Trying to make an account several times. Every time it pop ups that I have to make an account to continue and resets everything, every time again and again! Uninstall and thank you next!

Its obvious team DTO put a ton of hard work into this and they're still working tirelessly on updates and on improving integration in the community. I don't know a more accessible platform in the understanding of the theory and practice of GTO principles.
