NONE of Medieval's apps have been updated IN MORE THAN 2 years. this does not work correctly on Android Pie. I used to love this app, but can't get the menu up, so it's not really useful now. I even bought the license to get rid of the ads, but that was a waste of money now.
I like this file manager a lot, only I need to find another because this one doesn't have a search function in order for me to actually find files unless I know exactly where they are. I would use this exclusively if there were a search function.
It would be nice if the dual pane app actually SHOWED dual panes. So far it seems like pretty much a waste of my time to dL it, I'll give it further time but expect to uninstall soon.
USELESS..Since android 11 put restrictions there's no longer files are allowed to access data files. It turns into UNREADABLE.
Its Been very useful an since I used the app for the first time years ago I've had it on every phone or tablet I've owned. Best free app on the market forsure
Where do I get to access SD Card stall? NOT There. Formatted 128GB as Internal & Portable, Both ways = No SD Card access??? What File Manager on the whole planet ignores SD Card?
Works great on my Samsung tab and Motorola Xoom. Tyvm. Also used on Asus Transformer and Archos 101, loved it on those devices as well.
Too simple, generally. Expected dual windows. Not so. Removed.

I have used Dual FM since I bought my first Android phone in 2009, and it has worked perfectly. - Regarding the Settings menu, this is an issue with Marshmallow and later versions of Android. I use the Assistant Menu to get around this. This places a floating button on the desktop (blue in Marshmallow, white in Nougat). This will allow users to access the app's menus. But having an additional icon on the screen may be irritating to some users. Having a 3-dot menu button at the top right of the screen is a great update suggestion though. - The problem with writing to SD Cards can only be solved when Google restores that ability to users, or if a user is daring enough to root their device. - Overall, this Dual FM has been my go-to app for file management.
One of the best apps I've been using since 2000.Extremely useful, quick & easy, once you get used to it. Compared to this, castle file manager seems a sham!Coming from the hands of the same developer,castle file manager is too difficult &and complicated to operate. It's colorful & eye catching, but far too straneous to grasp. My suggestions:(1)Needs settings menu in certain brands. (2)Needs web access like ES File manager.Bring them up in your future updates, and you're on your way to πperfection. One star less for the above shortcomings. All the best..ππ
Used across all my devices, however on my android 7 phone, I cannot get to the settings menu, so had to do with the default settings, bit annoying? On devices where it works fully, the App works very well. Maybe the settings menu should be moved to the top screen area like most applications do.
Settings and menus not appearing. Good concept, but App is a waste of time.
Menu issue is reported for a long time without an attempt to fix. Have to leave my once favorite file manager.
It says it allows you to extract zip files with password which is totally false.Dont download this app.

Needs to be updated. Requires explicit 'write SD card' functionality so we can use it in a post-JellyBean droidverse, if not rooted. Until so, cannot copy/paste/delete/rename... basically, the useful stuff.

Is okay. It randomly sees your USB drive. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Seems to be what I needed. I'll use it a few weeks and maybe give it more stars. Just got a LG Stylo 5+ and it doesn't have a direct access file manager. You can go through menu and storage and eventually get to the native file manager, but every other LG I've ever had you could direct access the file manager through the FM icon. This time LG apparently went with "Google Files" app. I hate it. FU Google Files!
