Dual iPlug P2 Smart App Remote Control

App is mediocre at best. To make much more user friendly, I would like to see the USB files listed like a media player instead of only being able to go forward, back, or pause with only the current song listed. We need a better way to be able to go through the folders and songs on the USB. Especially with a large amount of files saved. Imagine how hard it is and how much time it takes to skip through 12,000 songs 1 at a time. 🙏 Please fix this ASAP! 🙏

The owner's manual clearly states that the phone app can control the unit's volume. I've got the latest app version, and I see no way to perform that function, or to access settings. What gives?! Those are basic functions!! Otherwise I like it.

Device paired once. Music stopped and started. Further attempt to pair with 3 different phones have failed. Radio that came with new RV will be trashed and replaced with something that works.

None of these dual apps work, look at all these reviews and zero response from company-what a waste of time trying to restart, reinstall over and over for no reason at all.

Took two tries to pair, but works adequately. I would love to see an option to download and push a firmware update to the radio so I could see the clock on the head unit while Bluetooth linked to my phone, the display won't change to the clock, it just shows the phone model or recent calls list, which is pretty useless. Head unit is the Dual XDM290BT. Edit: I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10+. Also you don't have to have the app to use the Bluetooth feature on this radio, just pair phone normally.

It won't allow me to connect to Bluetooth if won't even open app

If I could rate this app zero stars, I would. I install an entire stereo for my mom in her car, specifically just for the Bluetooth function, all to find out you cannot use Bluetooth without this app. Ok, whatever, I went through all the work, I might as well just deal with it. I COULD NOT get it to work even once. All I could do was turn the radio on and off. Bluetooth wouldn't connect. This was simple, make it so Bluetooth devices could connect to the radio, no app involved. Yall messed up...

I mean it's actually kind of nice to have an app don't get me wrong so I'm going to give it four stars my biggest complaint about the stereo itself is the fact that I can't change the channels with the knob I have to keep pressing the button the same thing in app if you could put like a slider function for the radio selection so I can skip across the whole band quickly I love that thanks another thing I'd like to see is a double tap on presets to go through fm bands.

Solid FIVE STARS for app design, functionality, ease of setup, ease of use, and feature set!!!!! One star on your review because you don't need GPS to establish a Bluetooth connection. Stop already with the data mining.

Bluetooth only connects one time. Subsequent tries to reconnect by removing app then reinstalling to reconnect, rebooting phone to reconnect, and turn off then on Bluetooth to reconnect fails. The ONLY way to reconnect is to remove all power to RV to connect to Bluetooth. Very frustrating and waste of money.

Ok but really needs work. Things you should make - Widget for direct interaction from launcher homepage. Volume control from all pages including first page. Could be cleaner and less clunky looking. Other than that, no problems. Side addons - usable activities for apps like kwgt to be able to make custom widgets that look like radio faces.

This Feature is So Nice it's 2021 not all of us are putting Car Stereos in cars these days I use mine as a indoor sound system it's a A plus for us DIY guys. Thanks Dual you can teach these other Audio brands a thing or two. The only other thing I wish is that my Stereo had Audio Inputs in the back in stead of the front.

I only gave it two stars because I like the set-up. It's a great idea, but maybe get some new developers on it. • app does not run more than half the time. • bluetooth has bugs. thats as far as I got, i havent been able to get back on it. debug and hit me up guys. then I'll give 5⭐

Honestly the whole stereo is a waste of money, I've had mine since my birthday in March (2021) and I have only been able to use it for around 3 months total. CDs constantly get stuck (brand new) my phone won't connect even with the app, and my radio doesn't work at all. Then of course there's the problem of it not turning off when the vehicle is off which has ran my battery down multiple times. If I could I'd replace it but can't afford it. I gave 2 stars because when it worked I did enjoy it.

I have a Dual XDM17BT and the app wont connect. Keeps saying connection took to long then closes. Have tried resetting radio, phone, app, bluetooth and still same results. Without the app I can connect to radio via bluetooth so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Not sure if its this app doing it or the receiver but every so often, bluetooth will not pair with receiver. At first, i tried updating apps but this particular app hasn't even had an update. That worked however at first. Now nothing.

I don't believe or even understand why Google play allows SH!@ like this app too even be allowed to be downloaded! Total waste of my time, DOESN'T WORK! Says can't connect to the head unit, although my phone (android A-10, using Apple music) is connected to the unit! What the H@#l? Google play you should be ashamed to have this in your store! Works perfectly fine for my radio. Only use it for volume purposes because the stupid knob wears out and eventually you can't turn the volume up nor down. Also to set up the Equalizer

Tried all of the Dual iPlug apps (there's 3), none of them gets past the Bluetooth connection pont, which it isn't able to establish, even though I am already connected to the player. GARBAGE APPS !!

TERRIBLE! Won't open! I wish l'd checked reviews of DUEL before l bought my Stereo! The app installed and worked perfectly at first. Then has never opened for me again. Very frustrating! Very disappointing! I won't ever buy another DUAL product.

Cant stream Bluetooth when using the app. It controls the radio fine but than you can't stream to it. 2 stars the app controls all functions but you can't stream if you have the app.

Awesome, it let's u control ur deck from anywhere, great for RVs,boats, even classics that u don't want to damage the factory stereo, u can mount in toolbox under seats, in glove boxes, and control ur eq, volume, fade,station,input, thanx dual!

I made sure that this version is (supposed) to work with my stereo model. Upon opening this app...I can't get it to connect. Not even once. I recieved a timeout error and it tells me exit the app and try again....and again and again.

My experience with this radio is pretty good it's brand new I've only had it for like maybe a week but it's a whole lot better than my stock radio and it does play louder than my stock radio and my stock radio had an amplifier built in but the only thing that's not good about this radio is that it does not have a CD player which is not a bad thing since I've only have two CDs but it would be nice if they would have built one with a CD player

The App connecting is hit and miss and I have to re install app to get temporarily working again, i would like y'all to fix this connection issue if at all possible, other then that 5 stars.
