Dublin Bus

Your app only works 70% of the time. Seems to have trouble around busy times which is obviously when it's needed. Also, random quiet times. Don't try to make excuses as I've had several friends try their phones at 21:30 at night... same results. Also, not sure if it's you or Dublin bus but sometimes it counts down minutes to arrival on a bus which never appears. Basically these things considered, your app is pointless and need not exist. App deserves -8

Ok app to use. Often wrong information available such as bus actually never appears after being tracked and marked as due, some buses are often timetabled and rtpi is never shown. Service often goes down and is very unhelpful. Handy app but never ever near 100% reliable. Should also have a function whereby waiting customers can be notified that an approaching bus is full (especially with limited capacity during the pandemic) so that they can make informed decisions about their transport.

This is a very great app to use, and it does the job, but i have this issue where sometimes the bus just disappears 1-5 minutes before it says it arrives. Also the interface is not the best I've ever seen. Overall, it basically does the job, although there could be some improvements in some places.

Laughable, ignoring the phenomenon of ghost buses, the app bares only a passing resemblance to the times on the bus stop timethingy and both are completely unrelated to the actual arrival of buses which run on the pure chance model. Is it any wonder people thank their drivers, they are so grateful for being picked up after 2 hours wondering whether there is a bus service at all. Good luck people

A good idea but, unfortunately, like the Irish public transport system in general: unreliable and deeply irritating. For example, the Willbrook Road 1300 bus stop does not register or show the 75 bus times despite the fact it goes through the stop. If you put your ear next to your phone when using this app you'll almost hear: "Close enough so it'll be grand sure."

The update brings a nicer interface, but maps still dont work properly. When on a bus stop and click show on map, the app just closes. When looking at a route map under timetable, Am seeing the page cant load google maps correctly, and map then only shows in small section of screen.

great app: Except for:- Google maps does not work from timetables. Big problem when planning trip... Need to find stop, its number etc. Map is greyed out, you can see with difficulty, but slow to respond. Would give more stars if fixed.

Old-fashioned design and not very practical for use. Information could be reorganized and unified in an easier way. But still has good info of real time departures if you know how to find them.

As someone visiting Dublin, I figured this app would be helpful... But it really isn't. It's too difficult to navigate and use. Directions on Google Maps are infinitely more useful.

The app doesn't have all of the bus routes available. On top of that, the times for bus arrival are rarely accurate. It was good before but in recent months it's been completely unreliable.

useless app along with a useless service!!! apparently there isnt even a 76 available... nor does it show up. this is goin on years!! only to be met with ignorance by anyone of the people i talked to bar a select few.

This app is horrible. It supposedly gives real time information, but busses never arrive and simply disappear from the app. There is no point in receiving information if it cannot be trusted.

App is okay, but data feed is poor. Buses scheduled to arrive just disappear and never arrive.

Worst app possible. Never accurate. Says busses have arrived when they have not, times are wrong 90% of the time. New bus routes and timetables have not been updated. Do not use.

The app itself is good. However the information provided to the app via Transport for Ireland is not always accurate. But I don't think this is a Dublin Bus issue.

Pretty Accurate, but the full number of the bus is not showing up on the... For example 39a is showing as 3....so how are you supposed to know what number bus that is

It's a great app few minor problems that should be fixed in the next update is show on map button it always crashes after tapping it

Difficult to navigate. Route 75 impossible to find. A lot of work needed to improve the users experienced. 🤬

The time not matching the bus timetable. You better read the review from us and try to find out a solution! Really didn't find any response from you. Really disappointed with Dublin not having such an easy app to help people.

Too little too late with the Android 9 compatibility, almost a year after the OS release do Dublin bus get their act together. Moved to another app with more features including Widgets.

App is not accurate. Missed busses on many of occasion because app is telling me 10-13 mins for the next bus only for it to pass by nowhere near time displayed

Slow and not user friendly. Also, wrong times and ghost buses that don't come even though it says on the app. Dublin bus became a joke really and it was so good before. Not a single bus on time so what's the point of it?

This app is about as dependable as the Dublin bus service itself... barely any routes are available in real time, I was a fool to expect anything positive from it.

Doesnt work when you need it to, buses dont show up on the app, app crashes too frequently and its out of date as stops that arent in service anymore still show up
