Dubsmash

This app is super cool. It has amazing filters and stuff. But there are bad things about it too. I think you should be able to adjust the speed of the sound like tiktok. Also, when I film a video, it just sits there loading. Idk why it does this but it's very aggravating. It keeps saying "something weird has happened". So I film it on tiktok and try to upload it. That doesnt work either. It doesnt even try to load. It just goes from 0% to "something went wrong". Idk what to do about this.

(Couldn't edit my original review) The app is decent overall, but there are a few issues. The video doesn't fill the full screen which leaves a block of empty space at the bottom of each video. Video sounds do not line up with whats happening on screen as the sound is delayed slightly. If I try to go to another app, the sound keeps playing unless you fully shutdown the app. Hopefully these issues will be fixed in future updates

I would love to be able to give it more stars, however a lot of features that are advertised aren't working /not there at all? good examples of this are duets and speed; neither of these two are visible to me (I have an android if that matters at all) and it's very sad considering I'd really love to use the app for making content. it seems to have quite a few bugs/ glitches too; sometimes when I go to start the app it just doesn't work and black screens on me or only plays sound and no video.

I've had your app for a few years now and everything was fine but now when I get on the app none of the videos that's are posted will play and neither will the ones on my page. When I go to sounds I can play the sounds but then I press create to make a video and it keeps loading and won't let me record. It keeps telling my to then check my connection but my connection is fine. I don't know if this is doing it to anyone else. Just wanted to know if you could fix this😁.

Okay, I like the idea of the app and everything.. but there are about 2 items I have a problem with. 1st) Everytime when I get finish making a video, it'll load for about 2 second then say "Something weird happened, sorry!" I've tried to restart my phone, delete then download again, open and close app, and connect and disconnect wifi. It's still giving me the same problem 2nd) The new watermark is ridiculous! Why in the world is it so big, like it was perfect the way it was before.

STOP UPDATING THE APP! this new update is trash, whenever I try to type words now that they let you do the caption and literally repeats the word over and over again and I have to keep on deleting letters because it's copying the same typing over and over again. and whenever I search up sounds it keeps on saying no sounds found. but when I look at somebody else's video that they're literally doing the same sound. fix the bug errors on permanently uninstalling.

I love Dubsmash! I use it most of the time. But the only problem I have is the saved video section. Every time I try to view the videos I saved, I can't view them because my screen will stay loading. I made sure to check my internet connection but that didn't help solve the problem. I also can't download it. But other than these two issues I'm giving it 4 stars.

So great alternative for tiktok which has revealed itself for being racist amongst other things, however it keeps freezing up and I have to uninstall it and download it back all. The. Time. Edit: I'm having trouble naming the audios from the vids I uploaded and you can't put an audio on top of an upload which is really inconvenient. I also don't really like how the comments work but that's a me thing ig.

From what I've seen from the app so far I love it! It does need some work though. The app can be a little glitchy at times and it deffinitly needs a few new fetures. It would be nice to be able to post longer videos and have affect to add on to videos as well. Overall though it's really amazing.

Overall a really good app! Easy to use and not discriminatory! But it would be nice to be able to have longer videos. I want to upload some of my shorter speedpaints, but the time limit doesn't let me show it in it's entirety, but that's pretty much my only problem with the app!

It's a great app I would definitely recommend it to people but I have been having trouble with the app. Whenever I try and post a video it won't let me and when I try and upload a video (from tiktok) it says "an error occurred please check your internet connection" when I have very good internet connection. I'm not sure if other people are having this problem or if it's just me. Lastly when you apply text it would be good if you could set a duration and if there was a green screen in the filters

Okay, so I'm working with it so far and it's alright save for a few glitches and features that, if fixed, would make the app even better. I'll list them in order of importance I see them having. 1. Constant crashing 2. Somehow I doubt my video got 113 views but only one like. 3. The hashtags glitch and repeat, making it extremely difficult to use them. 4. It'd be nice to have more editing features. 5. Seriously, the text glitches are gonna drive me nuts. Other than that, it seems pretty good.

APP IS EXTREMELY SLOW AND BUGGY! I uploaded a video oncce, went to add tags to it, and it kept adding additional letters to it and kept adding so many characters when I go to delete it! One time the app crashed and I had to redo the video again! I can't load anything because it doesn't want to load anything! I can't even load my profile! Horrible first time experience!

It is an enjoyably app to use. I like it. With that said, i do wish that you could increase the video time limit to 1 minute, and have a clip editor. It will allow us to have better control of our clips and give us the opportunity to have longer content for entertainment. All in all, i can see this app have good growth

I'm having some trouble; mainly, my keyboard goes weird when interacting with any textbox on dubsmash? It won't let me use emojis, and doesn't allow autocorrect to work properly either. I'm not sure why. Other than that, it's a decent app. I was hoping to ask for the video length to be increased to 60 seconds like it is on Tiktok, if possible.

I got Dubsmash as a substitute for tiktok. Only problem is I have a bunch of tiktoks I would like to post but there's no upload button. I also realy don't like that you can't use/make custom audios. Also when I tried to post a video, the post button was only a little bit on my screen so it won't let me post. I don't know if it's because I have an older phone but I realy need to be able to post videos. The app differently had flaws that need to be fixed. Other then that it has potential.

I'm pretty sure this app is fairly new, but there are some problems that bother me. First is the loading time, it might be because it's a new app gaining more traction, but I also have an issue with video length and that the max is about 25 seconds. Also, the layout of the app can be a bit confusing for newcomers. Other than that, a pretty ok replacement for tiktok.

It's... Ok, to say the least. The videos need a better commenting system, a pause feature and a "not interested" feature for videos. The mute button is virtually useless and only causes confusion when you try to double tap to like. Basically just copy tiktoks format and more people will flock towards this app

used the app several years ago and it was wonderful. I used to have a lot of fun but just downloaded it again and it only gives me the login option. I don't already have an account so it will not let me create one. It just keeps saying log in. if that is my initial experience with the app then I think I will pass. I just found out the insane people of reddit have owned dubsmash since 2020.. that explains everything. 😩 ughh.

This app is great and all, I really like it but theres one minor issue is that everytime I want to duet a video, the option to, doesn't show up. If I press the share button (that's usually where it tells you that you can duet) the option isn't there, I've tried it with different people, for some reason they are able to duet but I can't, so I'm very confused about this and it's very upsetting to see that I can't duet people.

Video Upload Failure. Anytime I try to upload a video from my gallery it fails to import, and when I record in the app the video is frozen on one frame while the audio plays poorly back. Yet my friends seem to upload effortlessly and the videos on there are a blast. It may be a bug with androids.

It's a good app but every time I try to make a video it freezes in the beginning and makes it look like I'm doing the dance late. Also today I tried making a video and it won't let me save it or post it. I've tried multiple wifi connections and it did the same to all of them. Overall I like the app besides those problems.

It's a really great app and I enjoy the videos and music a lot! However there are a few things wrong. Whenever I try to comment on someone's post then the letters keep repeating themselves. For example "you did good" looks like "yyouyou ddiddidid ggoodgooggog" it's so annoying can you please fix it.

I was so excited to download the app cause we previously had it on our iPad in like 2017 and now every time I press the sounds like popular and trending it doesn't show anything I gave 4mins and its still not doing . .and am in app having nothing to do..Pliz fix it. The things are slow and it really needs improvement. AND WHY DOES IT TAKE SO MUCH wifi ?!?! Pliz fix it. It makes me wish I could download tik tok but it might shutdown. I really miss the original. It was better functioning. 😭😠😠
