Due Today is the best todo list manager I have experienced using with android. The user interface is superb and intuitive, providing the user access to allocate a detailed task data structure, while miraculously maintaining an uncluttered and efficient work environment for handling to do tasks. It puts other to do managers to shame with it's simple and well designed task entry system. The tasker integration makes this app particularly appealing to power users.
Doesn't work at all for me after the latest Android 10 update; it just shuts down when I try to launch it.
Developer has abandoned the app, it was good, then got buggy
Crashes on launch. Using a LG Stylo 6.
It was one of the best GTD app that's why i bought it. But looks like dev doesn't support it any more. No new features, no bug or errors answers. Used app for a few years, but currently it syncs with error on my new galaxy, submitted a number reports through app, no reply. I don't recommend to buy it. You could check dev's twitter, last posts from april-may 2015.
Due Today looks dated compared to its more recent and well-known competitors. It also lacks the integration features of those apps. However, the core functionality of managing tasks effectively remains in many respects stronger in Due Today than the more 'fashionable' apps. It's 2020 now and I've been using it for about 10 years and it is still going strong. It has not had an update in 6 years and providing it remains compatible in future Android versions it does not need one.
I *want* to love this app - it looks great. The dev is unresponsive on his support forums. Some questions languish and never get replies. There are several canned views for GTD, but the results they show don't make sense based on my tasks. Wish I could edit the views so I can control them. Plus, I keep getting sync errors with toodleDo. UI looks good, but too frustrating to use. Repeating tasks disappear sometimes instead of showing up for the next day. Too many bugs to be relied upon. Dev is unresponsive to support forum. Going back to ultimate todo, even though it's ugly. EDIT - I've reported the sync errors online several times. Happens once or twice a week. EDIT 2 - a recent update said floating tasks sync with toodledo was fixed, and it seems to be. But now the reminders don't seem to work properly
I have been using this app for years. It just works the way I think. Update: It's been 3 years, with many promises but zero action from the developer. I love this app but clearly it is never going to be worked on ever again. What a shame. As such my 5 star goes to 1. While this app still works flawlessly for me, that could change at the next Android update and you might end up with an unfixable problem and no support. Worst case you could loose all your data and how would you recover? Very sad.
Fonts change unexpectedly to a tiny version from time to time requiring a forced close to correct for a while (LG G3 on Android 5.1). Very annoying in an otherwise good app but it hasn't been updated for a long time.
I use the GTD method to manage my tasks - this is the best one out there that syncs with a free online service (I use ToodleDo). One feature I wish it had is Android Wear support (adding items via voice, and showing the TODAY list). Another feature I REALLY wish it had is the ability to SWIPE a task item left/right - similar to Mailbox app - to "complete" or "delete" a task, and maybe also to "snooze (an alarm/reminder? make it come back later?)"
... pleasant to use, well thought out and so on, and I would have said one of the better GTD apps. Sadly, as others have said, the developer is apparently no longer able to support the app. If it suits you as it is, then that's good, but I think it's unlikely to receive updates.
I too have used this app for YEARS. Even without being updated for a long time, it meets my needs very well.
Best app ever, much easier to use and understand than any " to do " or task kind of app I have ever used. too bad the update stopped.
This is even better than Toodledo's client, especially if you aren't using the habit and lists features. I have had some recent conversations with the dev, and I'm looking forward to the updates :)
Probably the best project and time management app for Android. If you stick to it it can become your invaluable assistant. Clean UI, fast, responsive, easy to grasp even if you have not previously used a similar tool.
Top notch customer service. Can't beat that!
This is a very handy todo software and almost having all good features. My question is that how shall I know that it is sync with toodledo or duetoday?. As I open my account in Toodledo nothing appears though it is sync with that. Is there any sync between android version and window version of due today? How shall I open due today account to see my sync at there. Next, how to copy all subtask of a project ? As in my case many of the project sub task are same and every time I have to write all these.
By far one of the most powerful to-do apps I've ever used, with a great, fast Android native interface, customizable themes, lots of customizable widgets (so you can have multiple custom views of your tasks), and better yet, synchronization options. You can use this offline, unlike Asana or Trello or other task management systems, so this works great for tablets without data plans, and when traveling on subways, trains, or airplanes requiring offline modes. Plus, the authors keep updating the application! And no nickel-and-diming in-app payments. Well worth the price!
Works great- please add dual screen support for the Surface Duo!
Works very well with my Galaxy Note3.
Last fix was lightning fast. Thanks.
Badly need a UI refresh
Awesome as usual. I've been using Due Today for years and it has never failed. I have tested nearly all the to do list managers in the play store and this one has always outperformed them all! I would like to see, the option to change the shortcuts on the menu bar. This option would be very nice.
I love this app. I get curious and try new to do apps every now and then when I read about the newest and latest and greatest. BUT, none can touch this app. I use Nova Launcher and create shortcuts to my different contexts. That way, when I'm at work, I choose my work icon and bam! I'm in my work context list and the app has an option to quickly add a task right as the app opens. This allows me to quickly add a task. You can add all types of variables to tasks if you want. Thanks for making a great app!
The lite version of this so is so bad I almost didn't buy this. I'm glad I did. This app is great and has all the features you could want out of a GTD task manager.
This is the best gtd tool for android phones. The best set of features in the neatest manner.
An essential part of my day-to-day, with ToodleDo sync
One of my favorite and most-used apps. Intuitive, extensive feature set with the versatility to use only those features you want, and experiment with features you might adopt (I plan to try tags). Quickly add tasks to Inbox (or another Project) and immediately or later apply one or more other attributes, such as folder, context, reminder, due date, "star" flag, etc. Highly recommended.
