Ok for paying bills & reporting outages but I wish there was more to be done within the app, like the things the app look like it's going to allow only to eventually direct you to call customer service-enrolling in budget billing, scheduling home energy assessment, etc. Beyond that, the periodic "error has occurred" issue that pops up when I'm trying to get in to pay my bill is a bit irksome.

Just clicking on the app automatically gives me "an error just occurred " message. Nothing happens after I input my log in information. I have a brand new phone, so the error can't be my phone. Incredible that the #2 power company in the US can't even get a functioning app. Maybe your CEO shouldn't be making millions if you can't even get the basics of an app to work. Laughable.

No idea what is going on with this app...have been trying to log in but get error message saying error has occurred & please try again later. Have had this issue in the past but never to this extent! Have uninstalled/reinstalled but still same issue! Tried connecting to customer service...put my zip code in & got a message saying it was an invalid zip code. Then tried tapping my area on the map & got the same message that an error has occurred, please try again later! Ugh!

I like using the app and it helps me keep up with how much electricity I'm using and when I'm using the most. Neat tools also offered. However I don't like the company Duke Energy because they monopolies the energy industry in my area. Also they charge too much for something that can be gotten for free. Also their new meters are junk as they do not calculate the usage correctly causing them to overcharge their customers.

It used to have settings that would alarm when you reached a certain limit. Whatever that limit was that you personally set. Now it does not have that option. It was nice to be able to plan ahead if knowing I went over a certain amount. Now it is just a suprise when the bill comes. Not at all satisfied anymore!

Love the way their presenting their app! The energy company seems to be giving us loyal customers more & more options to choose from, such as energy assistance help, websites & links for all different states accepting the funding/benefits for assisting ones in need! Tbh, there is one specific thing I can't stand.. ⤵️ 《WHEN I DON'T RECIEVE A PAPER BILL FOR EACH MONTH!》

It worked fine for a few weeks and I liked being able to track power usage, but the app has ceased to function. You just get a message that "An error has occurred. Try again."

1st would auto pay then 5 days later reject. Then block my payment options until I get rep to fix over phone. Finally just canceled auto pay. Now can't use pay with bank account either. Used to be able to use that with this app now it blocked too. Already called in enough. Will just mail payments in from now on. Hint- this is same bank account I have always used with Duke. Website sucks!

This app can not process payment. I would say that it is almost best just to pay monthly and call. More over, I would look up other providers in your area as duke is having a terrible time providing customer support. I wish that I could give 0 stars.

Every single time I sign in it does not save my password, then I reset the password, then once i finally get a new password set, it says something went wrong! This app sucks and the website isn't any better!

Password meets all requirements yet doesn't allow use of it. The Duke website changes/resets my password every time I log off the site. It's frustrating and it's aggravating and it's annoying. Way to go Duke! Siphoning all those millions of dollars from people and destroying the earth, but can't keep your website performing or functioning to do the basic things?

Tried to use the app to pay my bill and it said something went wrong your payment was not successful. Refreshed checked all my payment info, re-entered my payment and something went wrong again payment was not successful. So I go to the website and it says I have a zero balance. My bill was paid! I may have paid it twice and I won't know for 3 days cause its ACH. Grrr. Discontinue this app or fix it!

App non operational. Gives an error message when you first open before entering user or password and then the same after entering. Removed app and reinstalled, didn't helo.

This app needs to be worked on very soon for some users not to be able to log in and then when you pay a bill it says that your bill is not paid keep your app up to date fix whatever problems you have on it

4/21/12- here we go again! Same exact problem, again!!! Went to pay $107.00 and it only puts $10.700!!! Need to pay $144 and when I enter that amount it will only register $14.40! That's a worthless app and, YES, I have the newest update!

Very helpful. I use the "usage" link in the app to see how much electric I use on different days, weeks, months. I have decreased my electric bill by 60% keeping the a/c at 80 (in Florida) and keeping other appliances unplugged when not in use. Knowing the usage each day makes me more aware of conserving. It is also kind of fun to see how low I can keep my usage each day.

The fingerprint sensor constantly doesn't work with only this app and will lock me out after a few attempts. Then I have to go through the horrible process of trying to reset my password which never actually lets me reset my password. I don't know how many damn times I've tried this, but it will not actually ungray The reset password button after they send you that stupid one time use password. Nothing I do lets me reset it. Fix your damn app!

Phone keyboard covers the login screen & icon so can't see what i am typing. Customer service screen only lets us address app related issues within the app, no other cust. svc. topics.

Worst app. I paid my bill electric bill and it posted a double payment one on the 2nd of the month and the other on the 26th of the month which overdrafter me. When I called to get 1 payment reversed Duke energy manager said no.

An error has occurred message when trying to login. This used to work. Now it's riddled with problems. Update 2/16/2022 app still hangs up when you try to login. It appears nobody cares on their end. Their online presence is as bad as their power distribution reliability.

After installing the update my password failed to work or I typed it wrong. I select the option to reset my password. After several attempts I did not receive an email with the temporary password. Using the website in a browser I got the exact same results. I will attempt to calling them but their call center is closed currently

I like the ease of use for the app. Absolutely recommend it to others, go paperless, save a tree, just pay through the app, and you can always print out the monthly statement if needed. Less of a foot print on earth 🌎.

I am not a fan of a company who uses averaging electric usage on a monthly basis especially when a new tenant has a new lease in an apartment who struggles on a fixed income. I suffered not using the air conditioner in order to save on the electric bill and yet, the bill's average cost has remained leveled to the prior year. However, I have noticed the third year a huge difference; whereby, I feel duped for paying extra money because of their averaging tactics instead of actual usage.

App is broken completely useless.. Ive updated the app and still having same issue. Tells me to select an account yet it does not list accounts me me to select... I have to call every time i need to do somthing involving my account. Very annoying.
