Dungeon Break

A great game, I like it a lot, but the controls are terrible, please, developers, change the way the character moves. I suggest to allow the character to simply follows the finger on the screen (as if the controls were always fixed in the center of the screen), the current method (also when the controls don't move on the screen) makes the game really unpleasant, frustrating or even boring because the character doesn't move like users want.

Nothing novel here. When the game opens you are presented with a few characters and a few options. No clear indication what to do. Then when you figure out what to do by trying a few things you are whisked into battle with a few simple tutorial screens that don't give enough detail about how to fight well. Once you again figure out in your own how to fight, you can move around and dispatch enemies. You are surrounded and outnumber right away. No easing in at all.

3* for now. The game has a nice concept and shows promise of being genuinely enjoyable but its biggest downfall is the awful controls. The "joystick" glides all over your screen and makes it hard to actually move and avoid incoming attacks and can even cause you to run into the environmental hazards because of it. Overall it has good promise but needs some overall tweaking. Even if just adding an option to have a locked "joystick" or something.

Controls are abysmal. Very hard to sit down and properly play the game when you have to consistently readjusted your finger on the screen because of the way you control the character. For a game made up of block characters (a la Minecraft) they somehow got the blocks to look terrible. The game feels very choppy and unpolished in gameplay. Pretty disappointed and stopped playing altogether after barely 10 minutes. It felt like a chore to continue playing. 0 incentive to go back into the game.

Ok gameplay. Like that you can set graphics level which helps performance on my device. Biggest complaint is that the game controls require consistent touching and when you cross over a "shop" or "purchase point" you're often still touching the screen which the game registers as a keystroke, so you end up accidentally buying things or refreshing the store. There's no confirmation process, so you end up wasting your fake money. Booooo!

Great start to an awesome Roguelike. My main complaints are the controls are kinda stiff, there is hardly no way to heal (that might be intentional), and when you're low health the bright red flashing constantly is very annoying. Either give the games more options to heal, give us an option to turn off the flashing, or lower the threshold when it turns on to a lower percentage. Going through almost an entire dungeon run with the flashing is very unemmersive and slightly headache inducing.

Game is very stale very quickly. Seems like a cash grab since your stuck with a low teir person and to upgrade to higher ones would take so much time and effort. The shooting mechanic is bad since half the time your shots dont land. No extra allies, no abilities, no ways of upgrading quickly to improve how you play. I see potential but right now it's not great.

The game is pretty good overall, but it doesn't do much to stand out from other dungeon games like soul Knight. The controls are what hurts this game alot for me. Unlike other games, like Soul Knight, The Slime King's Tower, etc. , this game uses one finger controls, which is very hard to get used to. You also shoot automatically, and something like that should be optional. This game is good, it just needs some improvements.

Seems like a cute game however I can't open the game at all. I have sent an error report after uninstalling and reinstalling. Simply will not open with a pop-up saying "Dungeon Break has stopped" just a few seconds after attempting to launch the app. I have a Moto G6 Forge running Android Oreo. It's really a shame. I've been looking forward to this game since I pre-registered. Hopefully it'll be fixed and I can adjust this rating..

The foundation of the game is fine, but controls are not tight enough for how hard enemies and traps hit you, and the overall gameplay loop is not satisfying as it is now. You don't really feel like you're ever really making progress.

I hate it. The movement is horrible and the scenery isnt detailed or interesting to look at. Upgrading is very annoying and it doesnt even feel like your actually improving. The speed is really annoying and the dodging is useless overall a bad game and i would not reccomend installing it.

I was a Billion Lords fan, enjoyed the first game a lot. This new one has nothing interesting to offer after 10mins. The dungeon gameplay is just a weak, stripped down "Binding of Isaac" -style gameplay with nothing to stand out from the crowd. Controls are not particularly good or immersive. The upgrades system is weak and not satisfying. You only get a tiny stat boost each time, feels like a chore. I'm very disappointed that the company dropped the "dungeon keeper" audience 😭

Game keeps crashing. Alls they want you to do is watch videos so you have enough gold to buy upgrades, but when you try to watch the videos, the game crashes. Game is unplayable in its current state , unless you like replaying levels you just did every couple mins cause of crash.

The game is cute and fun but the controls are terrible, clunky and got me killed many times. Uninstalling for now, if the developers fix the controls then I'll be happy to go back to it and invest time, but at the moment it's unplayable.

Game seems very fun and could be an easy 5 star game but the controls need work. In a game like this the controls are very important and can make the game very frustrating if they are off. If they get fixed I'll change my review to a 5 star.

Damn, this was not ready for release. So many bugs and overall the game is boring. Good idea if it wasn't so barebones and rewardless. The game plays for you, and the only reward is currency used for more currency. It's a never ending loop.

Wow wow wow this game is garbage. Crazy pay to win, graphics are garbage, and controls don't work correctly at all. One of the worst controls of sent game I've ever seen. Not to mention that it was 'releasing soon' on the store for over a year, and it's still this bad.

Has potential, not yet, the controls are not great either, unselecting move cursor helped a bit but still not great. Probably better if it had auto shoot and you just move the character, stop shooting while moving. Just a thought. Uninstalling.

I love playing this game specially its a one handed control game, that's what i love about it. Game sometimes crash while viewing ads for doubling the gems or in game buffs. That's really annoying, please fix that. Other than that its a must a must install game

It's easy to play with. I'm definitely sticking with this game till the end, can’t wait for all the updates! Skeleton look super cute! It's a lot of fun to play. Can you also add a healing potion or some kind of buff that allows you to collect health from killing enemies? It is pretty hard to clearance. Again, it is a pretty good game~

Very badly thought out game, with unintuitive controls(double swipe in a direction to dash? what?) and no way to change control schemes. Very plain background almost no effort was put in to make the game appealing (aesthetically pleasing).

Enjoying it ok, but have lost progress 3 straight times due to freezing after an ad, or crashing after an ad or level. Hope this gets fixed very soon. EDIT: deleted game. Tired of losing progress to game crash when loading an ad

The controls are terrible and makes this game completely unplayable. The abilities don't work correctly and the abilities don't work correctly, only randomly and unexpectedly while moving the joystick. Terrible deleted after 5 minutes

games crashes on first dungeon. No compendium, instructions or info tab on what does what. They also ripped off the music from the 80s cartoon inspector gadget. what i played..i liked. Game has potential as long as creeps dont scale to crazy levels. 3* is my generous rating.

Controls are garbage. The rest of the game is fantastic, I really love the music. It's nice and spooky. I would like a fixed joystick option in the settings.

Nothing that really stands out,the movement is buggy as the joystick keeps glitching. Could be down to early access.. but as it stands it not looking to good.. hope that gets better..

Nope - we have seen this before - and better. You play a character, exploring dungeons. One room after another, it's either enemies (and traps, like fire, clamps, poison etc), a vending machine and a boss. No second weapon to switch, no special ability. Boring. Rinse, repeat. Check out Soul Knight. These guys know what they're doing. You don't.

I don't like that the game crashes when I first open it. It says that my phone has not got the hardware requirements or something like that, please make this game better by allowing all phones to be able to play this. I have been waiting ages for this game to come out and when it does I'm so disappointed.

Need to fix the option for the move button not moving whether on or off the control still moves. Also, need to fix dash. Does not work right. Will give higher rating when fixed

Was looking forward to playing this game but I won't give access to my media/storage in order to play it. There are plenty of games that are more intensive then this and they dont ask for access so there could be no reason for wanting access other then data farming.
