This game is fun and challenging. It keeps you coming back for a quick fix to try to do a little better each time. Although a little bit repetitive, the difficulty level helps to vary the game a bit. I rate this 5 stars because it can be enjoyed on both iOS and Android devices and can be used for a 5 minute gaming fix whenever and wherever you want it.
I love this game. I rarely give 5 stars but this a truly great game. I love permadeath games except most seem either unfair or rely on sheer luck. This game always feels like if I had just been a little sharper it would turned out better and I immediately start another game. Perfect. You can't ask for more.
I have played so many hours of this game over the years but forgot about it until recently. Installed to play for the first time in a long time and it's almost unplayable with these slow animations. You make a move in a second and then 7 seconds later you are about to go again. Having to wait 70-90% of the time is the worst
I have been playing the game whenever I am free, and cannot put my phone down when I am relaxing at home. The unlocking of new classes is such a wonderful idea and so is the customization of the races and perks, which makes the game infinitely replayable. As said; brilliant, really. One of the best Android games I have ever played out of the hundreds I have tried.
My favorite game since first playing it on iOS, since before it coming to Android. There were some hiccups in Android 6.0 - gameplay/animation becoming very slow - but it seems to have sorted itself out in 7.0, despite having no updates from the developer at all in years.
(WARNING GAME HAS SERIOUS INPUT LAG AND SLOW ANIMATIONS ON NEWER VERSIONS OF OS) Legit so addicting for only a dollar and there is a free trial version with less features which is free and super fun to try that if you don't believe
This game has been a surprising gem at a low price considering the game play itself consist nothing more then matching tiles together. At the heart of it though, blindly playing a "let's match" game will lead you to a game over screen faster then you can process and enjoy the randomly selected absurd backstory of each round.
Brand new phone, animations are roughly 5x slower than they used to be. Game is, quite frankly, unplayable at the moment. Last update is showing in 2012 so I don't expect this to get fixed. Too bad too, the game was good. Will revise my review if this is fixed, but for now, stay away!
Sure it doesn't look like much, but underneath the primitive graphics lies an addictive game. Some issues: 1, it could use a lot more depth and variety. 2, presentation is lacking. 3, as far as I can tell, the game keeps running when I turn off the screen. Basically, this game really needs a sequel. Just don't destroy what makes it fun like like Puzzle Quest 2 did.
This game just keeps taunting me to go back and I do, time and time again. The only thing I have failed so far to understand is how you actually raise the multiple classes levels. It just seems to happen on its own accord.
I have a Nexus 5. I was playing this game without issue before I updated to Lollipop. Now (As other reviewers have pointed out) the game is performing very very slowly and the animations are very delayed. This was one of my favorite mobile games (I own it on both Android and IOS). I have contacted the Developer via E-Mail, hope it gets resolved. This is a 5 star game when it works, I hope it gets fixed soon.
It's one of the better games I've found on android. It has depth and simplicity in the right proportion so that you can play it for a few minutes or an hour or two straight. Seems like gaining levels is ridiculously slow or maybe I'm missing something. For example I played to like level 27 as the assassin and yet he's still level one.
A good game, I would not want to pay a lot for it but at its sale price - a dollar - it's worth it. On my G2X at times it'll look frozen after selecting a chain but I have to tap again to confirm, seems like a glitch. Also getting a black screen on startup and FC recently.
This has been my go to game on the phone for a good while now. The devs update consistently and managed to be responsive to any issues. The style might not look catchy but the mechanics are solid and work perfectly on a phone, if you lack good games then you need to give this a shot.
Had this game on my iPhone and once I seen that it was available on the Android Store, I snapped it up right away. By far the best match 'em up game out there. The way it incorporates the match' em up genre with RPG is reliable upstanding brilliant and simple, yet has tonnes of depth. Fantastic game, don't hesitate, buy it!
This is one of the most addicting games out there. So much fun to be had. *Edit* I as well have reinstalled this amazing game only to find it runs extremely slow on newer phones. Anything running Lollipop or later has this problem. From the looks of it the developer is done with the game which is a HUGE same. Id be willing to but it again if it was updated for the new OSs
This game is super addictive and fun. It's great to see a puzzle game avoid that tired match-3 gameplay. I only wish progress were less tied to randomness. If I don't happen to go up a level or unlock a new class in a particular game, I feel like I just wasted my time.
This is the first review I have ever given to a game. I just felt like I had to give a review because this game is just so fun I can't even describe, the way they mix an RPG with a tile-based strategy game is amazing. Would so recommed. For the price, it's really worth it, I've been playing this for months and still haven't gotten bored of it.
Unique concept with enough variation to get a lot of playtime out of it. Saves your progress when you leave the game, so it's perfect to pick up and play in small intervals when you have a spare minute. Or you can be like me and play it for hours. That works too. Loses a point for some kind of weird lag that slows everything down. Used to be quicker paced when I first downloaded it fiveish years ago.
I have played about 2 dozen games and I just don't feel the buy in I did with puzzle quest. The puzzles just get harder until you lose, no real enemies to beat. I'll take the original pq any day. Don't get me wrong, there is fun to be had, but I will get tired of this game after awhile.
I'm so happy that they finally put together an android version of this game. Updated - after a few months of playing this game nonstop, I still am addicted to it, which is always a great sign for a game. My only nit with this game is that, for whatever reason, this game eats through my batteries like no other app. Something about this game is a battery hog. Still keeping my review at 5 stars as I remain addicted to it despite the battery issue.
The game itself is super fun. I've happily spend hundreds of hours playing, and it's easily one of my favorite games. That said, I can only play it on an old phone. On new phones, it has a terrible framerate and slow animations that make it borderline unplayable and significantly less fun. If it got an update to make it work on new phones, I would say 5 stars easily, but the developer seems to have abandoned it and no longer checks or answers their email.
I'm so sick of not making any progress at all. The level ups and unlocks are so rare it's almost like they don't exist at all. Hundreds of gamed played, and I'm still at least five levels away from being able to customize Nything at all, on every class. The chance to play with the classes is so far away that its almost not worth trying to get to.
I just switched from a Galaxy S3 to a Nexus 6, and the game's animations now seem to run at 50-70% speed. The game is still buttery smooth, but somewhere along the line there is a performance compatibility issue that is making the animations (and the gameplay) extremely slow. Please update for newer devices and the 3* will immediately return to 5*.
