Awesome concept. Though fonts used ingame are lackluster (basic Arial font or similar) and seemingly out of place from the ambience of the game, could do well to put effort in the fonts. However, gameplay is great and character art style is amazing.
This game used to be a great way to waste time. I returned and I can't find any way to restore my progress. The touch controls are wrong and always select things above where you touch.
The controls are barely responsive. The game has high potential. But you have to guest the right area of the button for it to react. Please fix that minor issue
This is a fun free to play game the 💎 are free but you got to be patient get a few each day it's kind of like dark dungeon but it's cool just keep in mind this game is very RNG you may need to repeat several levels several times in order to get good drops but there is no stamina holding you back so time and patience is what it takes also a ton of luck. It's really tough at first but if you stick with it you go slow and play smart you'll quickly find it a little easier and a little 😁💙🔥⚡💎🐲
Great game, need more details on controls. Can't figure out how to change target for my priest. The dungeon merchant has OUTRAGEOUS PRICES. Also would get more stars if I had gotten free gems for watching the ads. Would be nice to be able to earn gems faster. Please fix the issue with the ads and I'll give more stars.
It's a fun game. It has a few issues with combat, like not being able to escape from an encounter bc your team is too close to them so it just starts the fight whenever your try to leave. And as far as I can tell, there is no way to kill an immortal boss. So in certain dungeons you are forced to leave and take the 40% hp penalty and get negative traits, since you can't complete the objective.
Amazing game!! Have to admit, at first I had little to no understanding as to what you should do. But once you understand it, the battles are very challenging, especially the boss fights. People keep saying about having problems managing coins but quite honestly just dont spend on anything at first. Once you get to the latter of the game, it is really easy to get coins. A suggestion though: Can you guys add an extra tutorial about firing unwanted heroes? That took me a while for me to figure out
The game tries really hard to be darkest dungeon, and it does it pretty good for a free mobile game. It lacks some of the depth from certain things like not choosing skill sets, a simpler map, and not being able to choose targets (a strange addition, surely tapping an ability and then tapping a target would be a better way to do things?) Also in my opinion characters are too big in the map, I wish I could see more. Also equipping heroes frels clunky. But overall my experience was fairly pleasant
worked the first time I played it, but when I reinstalled it the game is messed up. The characters are all stuck in the bottom right corner of the map only the first hero is able to move around and do combat. I also noticed the very first time you go to recruit hero's you have to pay gold right away to refresh which did NOT happen the first time I played this.
This game should be more fun. It's Darkest Dungeon with RPG elements. The problem is that the numbers are VERY much in need of tuning in its current state. Your expeditions barely earn you enough gold to make a profit, exp needed to level up skyrockets (19 needed to hit lvl 3, 237 needed to hit lvl 4). The combat was interesting, but the challenge ramps up so quickly that I ended up having to restart once my 3 teams hit lvl 3. I liked it, but I would like to see it rebalanced more.
Buggy very buggy. completely unplayable. Moving past the super shady request to be able to make phone calls, this game is really buggy. no heroes to recruit without spending gold, even on the first try. game crashed on first launch. first mission after adding 4 heroes only one shows up lol. apparently this happens to others as well. i retreated, and all four heroes suffered the penalty. i really wanted to try and like this.
Update: Daily FB share does not work. Did the linking and afterwards the button to share simply does nothing, with no prompts or popups. It's like a simplified mobile version of the Darkest Dungeon. Great graphics and challenging gameplay. Some levels are much harder even though difficulty rating is supposed to be the same as previous ones. The game also seems to drain battery power quite fast. As of Nov 2020, the game crashes on launch.
Still needs some polish but so far it is a really great time-sink. Not overly difficult at first, but ramps quickly and requires planning as you venture ahead into the more difficult dungeons. The game offers many different classes and with 4-man teams you get a "play your way" feel. This is further emphasized by the fact that each class cares where it is placed in relation to the enemy, meaning many classes have close range and long range abilities, allowing placement in any position.
VERY similar to Darkest Dungeon which is awesome. There are key differences, no insanity or torches which makes it more casual. They definitely need to add the ability to target who you want and compared to the HP your heroes have, the healing seems very weak. Also heroes have cooldowns but bosses and enemies will spam the hell out of status effects, and you can't buff or debuff for X amount of turns. Cooldown being removed would streamline the battles. I like it tho. I'll be playing.
Was kind of enjoying the app. Lvled up a bit.got caught in a never ending battle with a giant devourer that just heals itself and spawns more minions every time you do any decent damage. It would be fine to have a boss you had to retreat from, but it wont let you. I can't kill it with my existing party. It can't come close to killing me, so a very boring endless detente. With no way to go back to town or end mission, etc. Basically end of game.
Got the same bug with only one character going to dungeon instead of all four selected for party. Didn't have the option to hire a replacement when this one died, and didn't find the option to reset the game progress. The game might be a good clone of DD, but it isn't worth anything, if the bug makes it unplayable.
The PC version of this is amazing, but the phone one is completely unplayable. No heroes to hire. once you can, you select four but only one shows up. the game crashes randomly and keeps asking if it is ok for it to make phone calls, which I deny, because why would a game need that ability? maybe that is why it crashes? anyhow, very odd. just play Darkest Dungeon on PC while they work out the phone app (seriously, it is a solid game) I just hope they work out the phone kinks.
I really enjoy this game it has a good challenge to it. I wish there was more hero classes though like a necromancer, druid,a mage(not counting the priest),and maybe a barbarian. Other than that the game is wonderful.
very interesting game. I give it a 4 because I did not know how to use food for quite a while and the tutorial wasn't verbose about it. The ability to earn gems is almost vacant as well. 1 Gem per video and there's a cool down. And I need quite a lot of gems for anything relatively useful. I can't even buy enough gems for a basic box for a dollar. And you've got so many ads running I must turn off my internet just to immerse myself, but then I can't save...now that is rude.
ONLY ONE CHARACTER FIX: When you first start playing it SHOULD have you in a dungeon with a single character with a tutorial on how to move. For me, it didn't... I was at the main map screen. To fix this I exited the game and then restarted it and selected Play Game. If it is fixed, you should be in the dungeon with a tutorial pop up. (Prior to getting mine working I started several new games, reinstalled and then did the above step before the game worked correctly)
the game is quite fun. it's good that the bag capacity can be expanded without paying real money using using gems that can be obtained from watching ads after each dungeon run. I hope there is a way to increase an equipment level. It's a waste to find one of an ancient set equipment but for it to not worth using because of it's level. also, maybe give the bag and warehouse storage a drag and drop feature for organizing them.
Quirky game that's growing on me. I do seem to have run out of game coins and I'm not sure how I can overcome that without spending real money, but so far I like what I see. The tutorial and help are seriously underdeveloped though, there are many things that I had to figure out on my own the hard way and many more I still don't understand. But it's different from anything else I've played in a good way. Edit: I can't stop playing it! Just read tips on the internet on how to play it, else you don't stand a chance; I had to restart twice cause I was running out of coins on my own.
I love the game. I think it is great and, albeit takes a lot from "Darkest Dungeon" I think it has plenty of its own appeal to be given praise. Nevertheless I do wish it would store my save file online so I didn't have to spend hours retracing my steps to where I last was whenever I reinstall the game (have limited storage). Other then that, it is a solid experience for anyone who enjoys Darkest Dungeon and wants similar experience while on the go.
Loved the game but one day the screen no longer fits properly for tap reads and has become unplayable. Uninstalled lost all my progress (which I was fine with) reinstalled a month later ,cause I really did enjoy the game and commitment time it required , but alas same issue tap objects do not lineup properly and its just too annoying to have to tap 5/16"-1/2" above objects especially when it came to skills. Other than that was rocking 5*s
The game periodically goes black in places, and the touch controls just don't work. I goto press a button, to advance the guy forward in the tutorial, and I'm tapping my screen everywhere and nothing happens. Is this for real? Tapping to get your guy to move is the most basic thing, and even that doesn't work? You don't put a game out when basic things like don't work. Fix it ASAP. I certainly would NEVER allow my dev team to ship product without a deep QA analysis across the entire product. 😡
