Excellent sequel to the first, like most it doesn't grapple to all the features of their predecessor and expands and improves upon them. However, the wording is quite disturbing. Nothing inappropriate, just difficult to understand and read. I usually skip over most of it, maybe pick out key parts like names, etc. Other than that, very awesome.
Nice artwork and presentation but the combat is extremely boring. VERY basic combat graphics. The adventuring mechanics are decent but without a strong storyline to support it, the whole game fails to deliver a satisfying experience. The translations are terrible (grammar, speech, sentences, scenarios) and that makes the story even worse. I can't recommend anything about this game. This kind of game depends on good storytelling, I might have lasted longer but the story was so bad I had to quit.
Everything goes by too quickly to respond to and you'll encounter bosses who just decimate your entire team and there's nothing you can do. You recruit the best units available but it doesn't matter. The game is trying to force you into grinding and in games like this where you fight the same enemy over and over it's an easy way to get tired of playing. The game has text based sections that give you choices but no matter which you choose, you take damage. The translations also need serious work.
Pretty good game. Reviving is cheap but I'm guessing you have to pay more for stronger units? The Tactics feature should be in every game with auto battle. There should be "some of the time" and "most of the time" options too if we want a unit to use a skill more often. Using food every time I take a step is a way to stop me from exploring the whole map quickly but I should be able to bring the leftover items that produce food to the next expedition. Is there a way to camp more? It needs chat.
Looks very interesting but simply doesn't work. Have to rapidly tap everything a large number of times before it excepts any input. Clicking on anything it just the same, never even managed to get into the game properly, after having to click so many times to accept terms and update for changes etc, it brought me to a part where it was kind of a narrative and clicking to get the next text was beyond annoying. Super unresponsive.
Quite a fun game overall. Hopefully it scales well into late game. Servers are great but UI is lacking. Here are my suggestions: (1.) Make an option when selecting abilities stop battle gauge for users that prefer manual mode. (2.) Streamline UI eg. "leave" should be in a different colour, same as dismiss for easy differentiation. (3.) 3D preview models for characters! (4.) Renaming characters should not cost gold, that's is completely unnecessary & part of the fun for this games genre.
game is fun, however I find alot of the enemies to be too over powered for what we are given to work with. it's not level based so much as a random draw. you have missed my point. you added a option to watch an ad in order to resurrect my characters when they are downed. when I watch the video it brings my characters back but forces an item drop including food which means my characters starve.
This is a really cool game. It has alot of depth in building your adventurers, with a fairly complex equipment crafting system, and job advancement. The in-app purchases are unnecesary for advancing, and priced fairly if you do choose to use them. The adventures are alot of fun, if you like tabletop style rpg adventures. However they also put the games one BIG flaw on display. It is VERY poorly translated. Pretty easy to notice when there is so much text on adventures, but not game ruining.
Pros: Addicting gameplay Non invasive ads Beautiful art style Unlike many mobile games, you don't have to spend a dime in order to progress Cons: Required to log in. If you value your privacy, this would be an issue Combat system could use some tweak. Either pause the timer or slow it down when player is making their turn Occasional bug that can freeze the game or cause loss of a character Overall a 4/5. It's not perfect but still a pretty good mobile game.
This is a solid RPG game - until you run into a power progression wall late-game. See, you need certain items to level up your characters to the last tier. And they're rare; ultra-rare; no, rarer than that. Now, you CAN get those items two other ways: you can beat bosses that will require a ton of grinding to get the perfect classes and gear... Or you can buy them for 800-ish gems (cash currency.) It's this bait and switch that prompted MT 2star review. I bought a bunch of their micritransactions early on; but that wasn't good enough - they wanted more. It's not worth it.
There is so so much to do & explore, which got this game a lot of stars from me. If you're busy & can't play, the idle game mechanics let you build up resources over time for more options in your future adventures. But one big minus is the game's poor english translation. I can't understand the story and makes completing quests very difficult. That's why I stopped playing, but if you don't mind the above reason and enjoy games with no forced ads & plenty of freedom, this game is for you.
Cool, old style RPG. Static to low animated battle figures. I like the chessboard-like world map and you can choose to engage enemies, events and dungeons by their coordinate. Aside from key dungeons, everything random up and respawn when entering world map, which is cool. Action bars are fast for you and for enemy which makes non-auto combat a disavantage and also auto-combat all the time makes battle boring and not enjoyable. Also, why need Internet to actually play the game? It doesn't fit.
Excellent game and the most important is that it doesnt involve to spend hundred of dollar to progress. The monthly Crucible is very affordable at 5.99 if you choose to buy it which will greatly improve your expedition gain. Lots of content, quests and boss fights with unique items to acquires. The food required to go out on expeditions at first will be limited but dont let it bring you down as you acquires more champions you will be able to form new teams to a point that it become no more an issue. There Discord is very friendly compare to most ive been on.
It's fun for a moment. I lasted about a week. Once you start to figure out the mechanics it becomes a mindless grind. PvP doesn't make sense, as there's not much skill involved. Rather, you just hope that the system pairs you with someone weaker. The game kept freezing unless I disabled WiFi and played on data.
Amazing game, takes time, you run a group of up to 4 people, can have many other groups to grind while your away, plenty of guides, plenty of stuff to do. if your stuck just redo the maps you have gone through, garuntee you missed something, amazing game tho, give it a chance, this isn't your run of the mill mobile game, this game takes time, but it is a very enjoyable experience. If I may suggest, double stamina on weekends?
I've tried an f-ton of different mobile games and this is one of the only ones I've enjoyed. not only enjoyed: I really loved this! It gives sort of a Darkest Dungeon feel; though it's nothing like it. it's complex and has many different game mechanics that makes it the most complex mobile game I've seen. The only issue I have is that some English (from Chinese) translations are not the best... but you get used to it
Amazing dungeon crawler/economy game. One suggestion, being able to select which resource production will be doubled when watching an ad. Many players only farm food and wood, and I would watch more ads if I could select what to double. Keep up the awesome work!
P2W with auto combat and they lie about PvP -- you're fighting bots, not players. On top of that, there's too much micro required in gear management and it eats alot of time due to poor UI options. You can't choose what farm to boost when watching ads, so you're forced to watch up to 5 to get what you want as it may RNG on anothet you're not using at al. Energy capped. Food limits your ability to cover all the map in adventures, leaving aside that the map is practically empty. Don't bother.
I can't even get beyond the initial load screen. I had to bind my account and everything, but as soon as I do the download bar stays at 0 and refuses to load or give any indication that it's trying. I've left the screen like this for minutes on end and nothing has changed. so what's up? Samsung galaxy s7
Really enjoying the game! I like all of different characters, and the different villains. The only complaint I would have is, I can't play offline. Maybe soon they will add an offline version, or something. Otherwise, great game!
I also just lost all my progress. Please fix this. I'll change the rating, the moment you fix this. Edit: Okay, it turns out I was on the wrong server I guess. It now asks me to choose a server, without any explanation what that means for my current progress. Maybe you should add some info. Otherwise you might get a lot of messages like mine.
The game was fairly enjoyable. moderately challenging, with rewards built in for those that are patient. I'm not a fan of their "die and lose all gains from the expedition", so I am choosing to walk away. Some of the expeditions / excursions can take up to 2 hours. I don't want to lose everything gained over the course of those two hours just because I chose to fight the wrong creature.
