- intricate fight mechanics: flanking or being flanked makes an encounter change from being easy to being dangerous, and vice versa; using the right boost/support/attack spells and skills will prove vital for survival
- control a party of 6 characters, which you can generate using 9 starter classes and unique character features
- try out different classes, experience different randomised locations, find different equipment, for great replay value
- various difficulty levels. Higher difficulty yields better loot but also much tougher enemies and game mechanics

This RPG fantasy game is incredible! On the surface it looks simple yet has very good complex game style I enjoy. Randomly generating a character is not exactly for me but I find some enjoyment in the idea. I have yet to see where this great story takes me and my characters!
Great rpg, almost like playing a full campaign of d&d with friends. Loads of varied content & well worth the admission price & just had another update (December 2019) ...my only gripe was the game world is so large at times it feels a little spartan, but easily one of the top 10 party-based RPGs available in the android store. 👍👍👍 Hope to see a dungeons of chaos 2 soon.
the orc caves in chapter one are a god-awful abomination and need to be seriously overhauled. The fights are fairly trivial and tedious by the time you get to this area, but the worst part is having to slog through dozens or sometimes even hundreds of these meaningless battles to complete the quest. Often times you will walk like three tiles after a fight before another group of Orcs blocks your path. it's incredibly annoying. fix this!
This is, hands down, my favorite game! It is a huge open world RPG, that is almost as good as Skyrim! Kudos to Volker Elzner for designing this awesome, ad-free game! It is fully worth buying the game! Hopefully, there will be a second game, to continue the saga!

Amazing game all around, but I'd really enjoy the game if it had a cloud save mechanism, so I can transfer my game progress onto another device without the need of restarting all over again..
An absolute blast of a game. I'm having so much fun exploring and rising to each challenge. Worth it for countless hours of fun and replay. P.S. some people can't figure out how to play so they leave bad reviews, pay them no mind. P.P.S. please make a sequel

I have no idea how the game plays because the moment that I saw that you rolled stats with no point buy option I immediately returned to the store page and refunded the game. RNG stats? NTY...

Wow, this game is great. Old school RPG with a grid-based tactical combat system. There is so much to love with this game. Procedural content generation, a highly configurable (e.g. set actions, but also set triggers for stopping auto combat if health goes below some % of total) auto-combat system that lets you dash through easy fights to reduce grind. The UI occasionally gets in the way, like finding all the additional pages of spells and abilities in the level-up interface, but I was able to figure everything out easily enough in the end. Highly recommended. A+. 11/10.
