Turns out the free version requires me to watch an ad and then I can delete 10 duplicates. Turns out I can manually delete around 20 duplicates in the time it takes to watch it, so no
Found a bit of app in this add. Just put it to paid apps because this is not freeware. EDIT: Just download Google Contacts and use the Merge option. Free & no ads, no limits, easy to do and works perfectly.
Last night I attempted to use the APP to eliminate duplicates. This morning I checked for improvements and found MORE entries not fewer and photos attached to Contacts that do not belong. My phone is even more of a mess now. Is this what you call 'cleaning up?' It does not work! I UNINSTALLED the APP. It definitely moved photos to Contacts and yes it added entries. They were already in the phone, true, but they definitely increased. I hope you can fix this. The concept of cleaning up is great.
Ok, finds duplicates but doesn't seem to offer the option to merge them, only delete identified duplicate(s) that you choose. Sometimes you may have duplicates where one has a home address and the other has an email address, both have same name & number. You would like to be able to merge all the data into one contact. Maybe it can be done but the app prompted for a review the 1st time I used it, this is what they get; an ill-informed review. Don't like ads in an app. Would purchase if 5 stars.
Do not install if you use custom labels for phone numbers. They will be erased. The backup file will also not have this vital bit of information. However, Google does have a reset back to a previous date feature. So you can salvage it by deleting all your contacts and starting over by backtracking to the yesterday's backup within your online Google contacts list. And then delete this useless app.
Love the app, it works perfectly. It gives you the option to delete all the multiple audio, video, pics and docs. It says perfectly what it claims and it is without any additional hassles like the other apps. One suggestion is that I would love if you could add an option to delete the duplicate contacts also. But nevertheless, its perfect.!! Keep up the good work team.
Being I had a great deal of duplicate contacts from many yesrs of not “spring cleaning” my contacts, this app worked perfectly. Very user friendly, did not take very long to install and use following the directions given in the main menu I was able to back up, locate and delete the duplicate contacts in a matter of minutes. A big thanks to the developers!!
I went ahead and paid a lifetime charge of very little dough. For once, I read all of the FAQ'S before using it. My horrendous mess of contacts makes life a lot easier now after successfully sorting out ALL my contacts into nice little groups and combine duplicates into one contact, if that's what you want to do! I love this app! 😀
Worked perfectly. My Pixel 3 running Android 10 had dozens of duplicate contact entries. I am using a few email accounts via Outlook but I couldn't figure out where the dupes were coming from. This app displays contacts by app group such as Duo, Gmail, Skype, etc. Skype had an unusually large amount of contacts which I deleted in two taps of a button. That solved my duplicates problem. Worked great...thanks!
So far so good, it's so easy to use and I really appreciate being able to backup the full list of contacts before using it for the first time. It also automatically backs up those duplicates that you have selected for deletion, before it deletes them. There's a very easy to read and understand interface screen at all times. Am I giving the impression that I really like this app?
Free my foot. Must install another app... some camera or photo app... and only then can you delete 10 whole contacts.
Can not even try to check how it eorks, ask to pay. Also not easy to use, the same you can do using your android contact list. Looks like this app created anly to show adds.
Good but no money to subscribe for adds, still waiting to confirm results. It's why I rate it 2 stars. But if it works well, I will rate more, or all 5.
Merge contacts very defective. For example, if you have multiple contacts with even one common element (say, a common home number) it will consider the entire set of contacts as duplicated and merge them. Untangling the mess it makes can take a long time. In my case, the transfer of contacts to a new phone resulted in the literal duplication of every contact, so I used this app as I had 100's of contacts duplicated. But it also merge entire families where there was only one common element.
I had over 2400 contacts, most if which were duplicates added by Skype, WhatsApp and the like and this is the 5th app I tried to fix this. It is the only one that did it. Prompted for my email to send the precautionary backup to. Ran the app, worked beautifully. Now have less than 900, which is correct and my Contacts search now for a name, flies. I paid for Pro version as a Thank you. Well done!!!
It's ok, it's lite, it doesn't create problems and helps you find duplicate contacts. But I don't like at all the way it works. I would like to have the choice to delete or merge my contacts one by one. There are suggestions that make you loose data if a contact has multiple info, ex. phone, email etc
Great app, deleted over 2000 duplicates, will recommend getting the paid version because of way too many ads, but it will be worth it
DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR PURCHASE - I downloaded this app on my Pixrel 2 which is fully up to date. I ran it, and it created a backup of my contacts. After emailing it to me, it now will not run and crashes. I was using the free Ad version but noted it advertised a purchased version which has 24 hour support so I purchased the paid upgrade. After that it still crashes and there is no 24 hour support. I am requesting a refund from Google. This app should be removed. It's a scam.
System tweak, you guys do some pretty damn good work. But on this one I must say it needs A LOT of tweaking. It wanted to delete my mother's entire entry just because she shared the same home number with my stepdad. My stepdad had home number and cell phone.My mother had about six different numbers and adresses. I usually use the merge function built in the "contacts"app, it works well. It's calculated, and detailed with no ads and free. pay to have my files turned into a chaotic mess???🤔

It's like they literally thought it all out for those of us that are better with faces then numbers... All spelled out, step by step, including precautionary backups and preventative chaos to ease your comfort, and trust. I must recommend for ease of use, powerful connecting of my true duplicates, very few ads, just feels good to use this app... 5*****
The app is not working as expected. It search your contacts database on the basis of the contacts names saved in your phonebook. I have many persons who have two or more different contact numbers to maintain their work and personal life balance. But this app deleted all other numbers of same person and kept only one number. So I think this app is of no use for me. I request the developers to make the function to search duplicate on the basis of phone numbers and not on the basis of contact names. If you guys can do this, I will surely keep using your app and can rate this app higher in google play store.
Works decent but just not sure where some of the duplicates were found within my phone contacts so took a little bit of time going through them trying to figure out which ones I should actually delete or not. Otherwise seems to work well and overall a good app.

So far the jury is still out. I can't get the app to stay open long enough to use. It keeps crashing at start. I have tried reinstalling the app and restarting my phone. Still won't open. I even bought the no ads version just to make sure. I'll give it 2 🌟 for now to give the creators a chance to make it right.
It removed contacts with the most information not the least. In addition, it removed all labels and removed the star for favirates. It looks like it will take me hours to reconstitute my old contacts list. Lastly, loading a "backup" failed. I fear that important information, such as addresses has been lost. AVOID USING THIS APP IF YOU NEED YOUR CONTACTS. AND ASSICIATED CONTENT!
Very bad experience. Not actually remove, within few minutes, all removed duplicates are again showing as duplicates. This app is nothing but an eye wash only.
