Moto G Power user. This app does exactly what it's intended to. It removed all duplicate photos from my gallery, saving me a ton of time and space on my device. Ads are there, however, they aren't intrusive and only show up between screens (a small price to pay for an app that actually works!). I tried multiple "duplicate file removers" and none of them worked, except for this one. Thanks!
First pass it identified almost 200 duplicates out of around 2,000 photos and videos. Upon inspection numerous similar photos remained. These photos were taken at the same time of the same object in rapid succession. They looked identical. I tried scanning for similar rather than exact matches and adjusted sensitivity to the mildest setting. It identified no similar photos. I sent CS some samples. They replied their app would not identify them as similar. For me the app has limited value.
Works wonders. Haven't had a chance to fully test videos and audio, but for pictures it's amazing. It'll even find duplicates of different quality/resolution and save the better of the group.
This app removes duplicates very well!, I know I might be complicating things but it would be helpful if I could search for duplicates in only 1 folder or, only run this program on internal storage or to only scan eternal storage, I am looking for options.
I think it's great and very helpful, I tried removing duplicate files myself and still couldn't get them all after a lot of wasted time and work, I decided to try this app. The best thing I ever did, I love it. It found all my duplicates for me all I had to do was push 1 button to delete. It was super easy & fast.
This app performed so much better than any of the windows apps I've used for clearing duplicates. So many times they promise so much more and give so little. An excellent app well recommended to anyone who needs to clear up their music or photo collections
I Loved this App to use find Duplicates Photos & Videos. It works GOOD. But I think it could be the Best & PERFECT duplicate finder App, if it'll added some more specific search option. Like as QUITE SIMILAR VIDEO/PHOTOS SEARCH, SAME THUMBNAILS VIDEOS SEARCH or SEARCH SIMILAR VIDEOS WITH DIFFERENT SIZE & DURATION etc. Hopefully Development Team will try their best to be the Perfect one. Im giving 2 stars because I only had the chance to do one task, the directions were confusing. Then the rate us screen popped up and I couldn't close it. I'll probably be deleting this app.
Please add a percentage bar on searching duplicates for completion as it will help everyone to be patient as your app is scanning for duplicates. Other then that, it's a handy dandy app to use for quickly deleting duplicates taking up storage space on devices.
Had many duplicate music files, and not being tech savvy, I didn't know how to get rid of them. I found this app and it worked great. Thank you for developing this and even making it free!!
It is a great app to remove all duplicate photos, videos, songs etc.. It's easy and simple to use... Overall my experience is very good with it.. A big thumbs up 👍🏻
Installed and found it easy to use. It was but it didn't do what it said on the packet. Followed all prompts duplicate photos are still all present and correct. Uninstalled the app
I tried another app like this that wanted me to pay to use it on SD card. This app let me do it for free. Its also a fast and smooth app. Great job devs! UPDATE: It has been a month now and I use this app a few times a week and my opinion of the app has only gotten better. I wish I could give it 6 stars because they deserve another star. Rock solid app.
Wow I tried two other programs just before this first one was a bait-and-switch it really didn't do what it said the second one did what it said bye to the very end and then wanted to charge me:-( this duplicate file fixer was very quick, it had controls that allowed me to customize it, and it took nearly ten thousand duplicates of the same content away in about 10 or 15 minutes! And it was free, and without ads oh, now that's what I call Quality and quantity:-) thank you
Tried deleting the files myself. Was taking forever and I couldn't get some to delete. Installed this app, scanned and then hit delete. Took less than 5 minutes. Super easy!
You need to have more advanced features for Android power user...even though we're like 10% of total users. Just having options to select what type of media or "all" files and then just have this cheesey looking pulsating icon in the center looks cheap. I didn't even give it time to finish because progress is unknown. Give it a progress bar or a readout of folders/files being scanned. Give it a file manager so you're able to select the storage and also the folder you want to find duplicates on.
This seemed to do a fair job though it lacked the ability to *select a range of duplicates*, and lacking the *ability to invert or unmark/exclude a selection of files*, and it lacks something as simple as a *scroll bar* on the side of detected files. I found over 400 duplicates & it was very time consuming to have to go over everyone manually to make sure the correct directory was selected. More options such as limiting duplicate searches to a limited set of directories. *Select dupes by date*
Does exactly what it says, and more not only files but images. And with varying sensitivity. Completely satisfied!
It either does not delete duplicates or gives you a false indication that duplicates exist. Seems to be a complete waste of time.
Very nice UI. Easy to search and it shows the duplicate files very clearly with all the right information for you to quickly check. But there's a big problem. When I delete the duplicates it takes about one minute to delete one file. I found about 250 duplicates and I left my phone on for 3 hours to delete them. After I tried another scan and it came up with the same duplicates so it hadn't even deleted them the first time!
Really terrible experience with this app. Every single time that I run a scan and receive the results, before I can even react to the results, it goes back to the opening screen, as if I didn't just run the scan. I've tried it for three (3) days. I have run it numerous times. Sadly, Duplicate File Fixer is just another impotent application.
Best Duplicate file remover app. Very clean user interface and easy to use. No ads make it the best duplicate file remover app. Moreover it shows clearly all the files that it will delete after scanning. You can even view the files before deleting so that there is no confusion or fear that an important file maybe deleted. Overall it makes it a very hassle free task to review and delete multiple copies of a single file. Very happy 😊 with the app's performance. It helps me keep my phone clean.
I freaking love this app. Hard for me to keep up with whether or not I have already uploaded a photo or video so I get a lot of duplicates. This app sorts through internal storage and SD card storage and quickly identifies the duplicates. With one push of a button all duplicates are erased from the device. Has worked everything perfectly for me. AWESOME APP .
Did just what I wanted, quickly and efficiently. Would be good if it had scroll bars so you could navigate very long lists more quickly. Also, lots of ads, some presenting themselves almost like part of the app - a bit sneaky and potentially misleading. However the app is free, and they've put a lot of time into it.
Great app. It does take a while to search (I've got many files to check), but I love the ability to click & check each file. I often download the same file 2 or 3 times (for a higher resolution picture - changing ends of URL to get a bigger pic). And seeing the date helps too, sometimes I want to keep the latest rather than the 1st file. ★★★★★
Easy as pie,, and does what it says. My Note 9 plus By Samsung believe it or not was just jammed with tons of my crop, and even with the huge internal HD, plus a 256 gb external SD Card added, My cell was literally so full it wouldn't allow even the most basic updatesw2 any longer due to lack of space. And well I only had to click a few buttons and bam, the app did what it was designed to do, ! Cant complain!!
Horrible. This app did not pick up any of my duplicates. I can see them listed in my file manager, but this app couldn't find them. Instead I was subjected to far too many video ads that I couldn't close or opt out of. And it asks if you want to clean junk files after each scan, which only refers you to another of their apps in the Google Play Store. This question must be answered after each scan. Don't waste your time.
I just bought this for yearly plan. Don't waste money. I gave it permission to all areas for duplicate files. It only found duplicate pictures. And then I had to upgrade to delete. On top of that, I went back to my storage settings on my Note 10 and there are still over 1500 do rhis DID NOT do the thorough job it should for a paid app. I want my money back!
