Duplicate Media Remover
1. Only folders (both internal memory and SD Card) that have been selected for scans are searched for duplicates. No files are deleted from any of deselected folders.
2. Each individual file that has duplicates can be marked for deletion including the original file. Verify that the selected files are the ones you definitely want to remove because they cannot be retrieved once deleted.
3. Scans can be scheduled on a weekly basis, allowing one scan per day.
4. The stats of the last run scan can be shared with your friends and family.
5. The cumulative stats across all scans are maintained for your reference.
6. Additionally, the application performs routine searches for duplicates. This improves the speed of subsequent scans and you're also notified if any duplicates are found.

Very good app, helped me sort out a mess I had with audio and picture duplicate files. Found almost 300 duplicates and now my phone is happy and has a lot more free space. My only complaint is the ads that pop up all the time other than that I think it's a very good and useful app.
Actually works and DID find duplicates. Warns you before commiting to delete too. You aren't really "bombarded" with ads every turn. The only con is it can't find my actual SD card for scanning. Already restarted app several times.
It does not scan while in the background. Downloaded. Started the scan and moved onto other apps. Came back to the app after 30 mins and it asked me to start scan again. I again started and waited for a minute, got bored and moved to other apps. Came back in 5 mins and it asked me to start scan once again. Uninstalled. Why can't it scan in the background?
does not seem to work with many video formats as for example webm. works fine for images, but the description made it look like it supported the most common video file types too.
junk... useless. I have many duplicate mp3's. Checked the settings. It's scanning the music folder. It found 0. None. Not 1. The app is junk.
Found zero, zip, zilch, nada duplicate audio files. Nothing. The thing is I have multiple audios that are the same. Waste of time. Useless.
Removed most of the duplicates but hardly them all. Seemed to work ok on the music in Windows media player, but didn't do anything for the tunes on samsung music or itunes
Rubbish and wants permission to make phone calls and send emails and texts. No other app of this ilk has ever needed this just so other apps can be utilised. What a joke I have yet to find an app that actually works in this genre.
+Automatic scan found a lot same images. -Some same images detect only at second times. -Cannot detect other than images and audio, I not try on video.
Works good as far as I can tell but it only scans your SD card. Not internal folders. That's why I didn't give a 5. But works great for SD cards.

Only works with Internal Storage. Wanted to contact developer, but safe browsing on Chrome blocks their website. Find a better app.
I loved this app so much. I know I have duplicates on my phone and it is no longer finding the duplicates and therefore no reason to continue with this app.

I installed this specifically to find hundreds of duplicate mp3s. It didn't catch a single one.
Detects only exact (byte-identical) duplicates of images, not similar images at different resolutions, cropping, etc.
All the duplicate marked files are not being deleted even trying again and again. Useless app.
