Duskwood - Crime & Investigation Detective Story

Great game and would be a 5 stars easy without the boring minigames that has nothing to do with the story and takes way too much time. Would be great to have other minigames or puzzles more relevant to the story. Too bad because I'm currently stuck and don't want to play anymore. Also, waiting for characters to type is quite annoying sometimes.

I like the story. BUT the mini games are so annoying. It could have been more interesting if the mini games were not always the same and if it was a little bit like "welcome to the new game". There are already too many games with this concept. It was not needed in this one. MOREOVER, I think it is very greedy from the developers to make us pay to see the pictures when they have access to our medias.

(edited) an amazing game! the developers worked a lot on this game and it Shows. can't wait to see what else they come up with! so i was one of those people who couldn't load their save after the release of chapter 9. the start screen was frozen for days then i finally managed to tap load/save but then the button disappeared leaving me with a "play". fortunately i only lost a some of my progress and not the whole thing but it's still awkward

I was hesitant to write a review at first because I'm not usually so keen on doing so, but this masterpiece really deserves it!! The characters were well put together; I found myself getting annoyed at Lily during specific interactions. The game play is challenging, but not frustrating so. It's also not pay to win: absolutely no power-ups. The only help you get on levels is being able up buy 5 extra moves in exchange for 9 coins. In short: amazing. 100/10 recommended.

This is the first detective game that I really enjoy playing it. The story plot is very exciting and suspense hahaha. I can't stop progressing through the story because I really anticipating on what happens next. I usually play them offline and the minigames are challenging but I enjoyed it. It's sad that the story has ended. I'll never move on from this game and gonna miss the duskwood friends. Thank you for the amazing game!

This is a fantastic game, I cannot stress enough how much work the Devs put into this. Honestly, I think it's unique in that regard. The details are spotless, the acting is excellent, the story is great. Sure the minigames can be a touch tedious, but the balance of coin payout for winning is more than adequate to handle the problem of lives. If you like new mobile game experiences, Duskwood is an absolute must, especially not that it's finished.

I'm crying right now, the latest episode was such an emotional rollercoaster and the ending absolutely broke me. I have a bone to pick though: the 3rd set of minigames. They were brutal. They were impossible to pass without a lot of luck, time and credits. I understand that this is the last set, which means that it's the hardest but did it really have to be THAT hard? Just 1 or 2 extra moves would have done the trick. If it weren't for that this would be a 5 star review.

This is one of the best mobile games i have ever played. The story and characters are amazing, the mechanics they use jusk keep getting better and better. No need for microtransactions to enjoy the gameplay. The minigame isn't to challenging and helps space out the enjoyment. I was hooked on the story from the beginning and can't wait to see how it ends. [Current state edit] Episode 10 has released but I am not able to download it. I'm not sure if its because of their servers being smashed?

Very very addictive! The story really draws you in! Cant wait to see what is in store with this last episode! I see people say there spending money to get through levels 🤔. I have managed to get through every level of the mini games without paying anything! OK if you want to choose certain answers you have to pay money but you still get a fantastic story without paying The mini games r not hard you just got to take your time and make the right moves 😉! I Really hope to see more from duskwood😁

Love this game. It feels like I'm really into it. The story, character all are amazing. The only thing that annoyed me is the MINI GAMES. It's destructive. After completing some of them, it gets harder. Also there's no way to skip them even with spending money. I found it totally irrelevant with this type of game. In the beginning, I started to love the story and all the characters. Even the mini games were easy. But after a certain level, I found the mini games very annoying.

One of the best experiences you can get of playing a role playing game. The chatting part is just awesome and the way the story is just moving forward with the twists is outstanding. justone suggestion that if the minigames could be little bit upgraded or if some variety could be added it would make it more interesting. Highly interactive, fun, intriguing. First game I've tried like this, and after disappointment that I had completed all but the last episode, I searched for similar. None compare. Very fun, and also immersive enough that the characters remain on your mind enough to want to see what happens next. The puzzles at first were a downer, but soon, I knew in order to progress in the game, they were necessary and soon became fun and challenging at times. Hope to see similar games in the very near future

I LOVE this game. The plot is so intriguing and exciting, but the reason I give it 4 stars is because of the mini games. It makes the game SO much less fun when you have to complete 3, might I say, HARD mini games with a maximum of 5 lives. If the mini games were a little easier, I might not mind them, but they're HARD. I've had times where I've spent hours to days working on ONE mini game. Please fix this so I have a better experience.

Such a fun amazing game! It is just the right amount of scary, and fun while still having the right interactive options to still feel like yourself in the game, and the acting is good too! Hard to come by, trust me. Ive tried SO MANY other games, can not find ANY LIKE IT! I just wish I could keep playing it!!! ...still waiting for episode 10...😣

Okay, okay - yes, the minigames CAN be frustrating when you're on a roll and want to get on with the excitement. But this game is incredible, so immersive, SO realistic, that it's 1000% worth it for me to play the games!! I'm always playing it for comfort - when I reach the end, I uninstall and start over. PS: playing around with names you use for MC are fun and you can get really creative 😜

love it, defo reccomend if you're into games like simulacra. note: it has a mini game you have to complete in order to play, but its pretty easy with a few exceptions. either way, the story is pretty interesting and i am very exicited for the final episode. another note: you need to buy the premium for 5€ to unlock most of the content, but its pretty worth it if you ask me, and they need to get money somehow ofc. anyways as i said, love it.

This game is so addictive, it really draws you in with the story, it literally captivates u into feeling like ur within this mystery, the people who made this game, has really done a good job, very creative, ive managed to get 2more people to download it, it gets more and more interesting as we go on from season to season. Give it time, as annoying the mini games are sometimes, bare with them, its totally worth it!

Excellent game. Best of this format I've ever played. Also with everyone complaining about the minigames, i love them. I haven't spent any extra money to get through them. Personally i would love to see a variation of mini games if they make another one. People have no patience anymore and want instant gratification. Play the mini games as you get through them and relax. I really hope they do something else after we finish this case!!

This game is amazing, the story line is excellent and the actors are great. It is an addicting game. The puzzle games are challenging well some are some not but i wish there was different kinds of puzzle games to change it up a bit. I hope they continue on with more amazing stories lines after this one. Awesome! 👍

I really love this game! It's not only focused on the story but sometimes it feels like we hanging out with friends. The features on the game is really good. Also i like the fact that we can still understand the game without the need to buy the 'premium' version. One thing that's hard for me is the calls (because English is not my native language), sometimes it's confuse me, i recommend to add subtitles (optional), but overall it is a really good game :)

I waited MONTHS for the final episode and the update deleted all of my progress. It was backed up online and that progress was replaced with 2 new games. I'm not doing it all again, I put HOURS into it. I'm SO pissed off. I loved this game and you've completely destroyed the experience.

I like this game, its so cool and mysterious but sometimes its not because sometimes the puzzles is so hard and annoying but still I'll give this 5 stars and also when I updated the game and open it, it says that "An error occurred (Request timeout)" which is I don't know why is it saying it in the menu after I updated the game. Please fix this problem that I have so that I can continue playing this mysterious game. Thank you.

The game turned out to be insanely addictive, the story is incredible, characters are well designed and 'talking' to them is surprisingly enjoyable. Although the mini game aspect spoils all the fun for me. Overtime it got way too difficult and I waste soooo much time trying to solve it after every one or two bits of conversation pushing the story forward. If the game was just the story, I wouldn't even mind paying for it, that's how good it is! But as it is now, I'd say it ain't worth it.

Great storyline, fun approach-but the mini game(s?) ruined it for me. You can not proceed without completing x amount of mini game. Sometimes it takes many attempts to complete the required mini games to just get a minute of storyline then back to the mini game. I would pay extra to get rid of them or even just lessen how often you have to play them. I'm curious how the story plays out, but at the moment considering uninstalling due to the frustrating, distracting, and unnecessary mini game.
