DV Gallery (Old EZ Gallery) Albums Photos Editor

It was working very well before and this was supposed to be my fave gallery app but as time goes by, I cannot find most of my folders! It's slowly deleting all the folders that I'm not viewing/using. This app is really the worst!!!!! Never had such an experience with a gallery app before that's deleting folders full of images!!!!!

Really poor. At first it looked really good. Lots of features that the stock gallery app doesn't have. But the more features I tried the more error messages I got. Couldn't even handle simple rotations without a failure message. You would think they might have fixed some of the problems since their last update in June.

Dec/19: Brilliant! I've used Simple Gallery for a long time, but didn't like some of their recent changes. (Can't rename a picture you have open, the new editor is not good...). This is the perfect replacement. Jul/21: Last update screwed things up. Slow to show files, search fails to find images etc. Uninstalled...

What a great gallery option. Here's what you need to know as a potential consumer... Smooth, user friendly, responsive UI. Nested Folders! (why doesn't every gallery offer this? So good). Able to customize color scheme to any value you want for background, text and accent colors with a color wheel that allows specific hues of your cboosing. Well deserved 5 star gallery app.

2 stars. I like the app but its starting to get weird. It cuts off the bottom of my pics. Sometimes it does something besides what you wanted it to do. Can only create a new folder if im in a folder. Was moving some pics a few at a time because it would suddenly select most or all the pics.but noticed at each move the folders were in a different order. Please fix i hate google photos! 2 stars til its fixed uninstsll til then cant lose my pics! Sorry guys i want it to be a great app but its not

Pretty good app, I like all the features it provides compared to other gallery apps won't let you zoom in on videos or change color themes for some. One suggestion I have for this gallery is that it should run videos at a faster frame rate. I noticed some other galleries run videos very smoothly at about 60 fps. Galleries that use the same layout/mechanics as this one run at a lower fps for some reason. Hopefully that can be fixed.

This app straight up does not work anymore. It won't add or detect ANY folders that I try to add. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times to no avail. It used to work fine, restarting my device (Moto Z3 Play, Android 9) does not fix the problem. I liked using this app because it was cleaner and easier to use than google photos. Now it does nothing after I grant the permissions it needs.

I have been using this app successfully for a few years but since installing it on my new Galaxy S22 Android 12 phone I get 'Unexpected error' when I try to delete an item by sending it to the recycle bin. Can you help please. Many thanks, Steve

Update: Used to love it, and I still love it- on my old device. Got a new phone, and now it can't even access my SD card, or any of the file system properly. It can't even show the folders for me to pick what folders to include, only barely acknowledging that there's Internal and SD storage (but still showing both as blank). OLD REVIEW (still partially applicable) Great for having a dedicated lewd image browser, since you can not only specify what folders it shows, but lock the app from launching with a swipe-password.

The best Gallery app. Nice interface and works very well. Now it Can't delete files and keep asking for permission. maybe upgraded android doesn't like it. have to find different app.

When two finger gesture rotating and zooming an image, leave it at the angle selected when fingers are lifted. Then it can be shown and a screen capture can be done. Possibly with option to save as copy with edge filling or wysiwyg or crop. And then simply keep that rotation angle temporary, only while the app is open, leaving the source image files unaltered. Showing zoom and rotation values would also be wonderful. A quick button for previous and next day would also make gallery more awesome!

My Moto G8 Stylus from Metro® by T-Mobile had no default Gallery preinstalled with its Android v10 OS After some research I discovered the "DV Gallery (Old EZ Gallery) Albums Photos Editor" app. It is very intuitive. It also has versatile navigation and editing features. As a free app, it is nice that there are no disruptive ads to cause distraction nor to occupy valuable screen real estate. I am enjoying learning its full functionality.

I have just lost 26 pictures trying to move them from one folder to another. The app just stopped for no reason during transfer process and I lost everything, and the app sometimes closes by it self... Looking for a replacement already...

Update : Can't delete photos and an error message pops up saying "An Unknown Error Occurred". Sometimes can't read all my photos in my phone and displays just a few of them. Old review : At last a great gallery app with deep customization and a simple interface

Just installed on new phone, won't delete, move, copy, etc. Have given all permissions. Same problems as many others have stated here; yet no fix? Drag, used this app for a long time, I liked it, but obviously I have to give it up.

Recently I've been unable to delete or move any photos. When deleting it's says an unknown error has occurred. The picture goes to the recycle bin. It it also says in the folder you are trying to delete it from. I don't know if this was an app update that caused this or an Android update, it makes this program not much use at the moment.

Doesn't work anymore. It has been dodgy for a few weeks for me. I can't delete pictures or folders, nor can I move pictures from one folder to another. I've cleared the cache and storage, as well as uninstalled and reinstalled. Unfortunately it just doesn't work anymore. I don't understand why people can't leave well enough alone. It was working fine! Stop changing stuff!

No ap does everything or anything right or work with all phones, EXCEPT ADs. I plug my pre paid into my computer to organize and make folders the way I want to. Don't let the apps control u. If u don't like the ap do like I do look for another one. I have to use three apps to do what I want unless want to pay for one. They aren't any better! Didn't use to be like this. If u get a good one do not update it. This one is great for me with some things but not all. Always beware of the permissions.

just reinstalled it on a new phone and it cannot find my pictures. Google photos has no trouble finding my photos but DV gallery is completely lost and useless. It was a good program, I do not know what is wrong with it but it can only serch 2 preassigned directories and can't find pictures. This app worked perfectly in the past but now it is useless

Just installed, customized the settings, & going thru a first-use. I chose this app for: 1) no ads 2) no IAP 3) works with my (added) SD card, not just the phone's internal memory. Loving this app becuase it is doing everything i needed a photo viewing app to do: sorts/shows ALL my photo files, including the ones i created in my SD card, and it moves photos from phone memory to SD card very quickly.

Just started using. Had FOTO Gallery before, but that's gotten worse. I think this needs option to move content to SD card if not already on thete and be able to change the cover photo to the last photo automatically, I don't believe these two options are available.

I have tested a lot of gallery replacement apps even the paid ones too but this one is the best. It has all the features of a paid app and available for free which others give in paid versions. Its lightweight and smooth. Simply love it.

It's nice to find software where the creator has a clear goal and absolutely reaches it. Thank you. This app runs fast and smooth, no hang ups. And the app handles your files the way you want, everytime.

It does everything you could want in a gallery. It's great except moving pictures around takes a long time. Update 7/28/21: now it asks you to review their app. Too bad, was much better before!

This is the best gallery app I've ever seen and it's all FREE...very nice. Fast and responsive app and has A LOT of options in the settings. The only thing I missed is an EXIT button/option...

...can customise and pin your favorite or more regularly used galleries to the top, sort by various orders. No oft popped up ads or review solicitations. Does the job with absolutely no complains. Only wish if there can be an option to have the main Camera gallery be at the top most, notwithstanding in any chosen sorting order. Thanks!

My previous fav gallery app got mangled by new devs and while DV doesn't work quite the same way, I've come to love & appreciate it for saving me from the mire of ugly same-same gallery apps out there (which don't have the functionality I need). Having both grouping and sorting is brilliant, and being able to specify "this folder only" sorting rules is a sanity-saver.

Definitivly THE BEST gallery app I've ever tried. And the best: totally free and adfree, I cant believe it. Very fast and responsive app with A LOT of really nice and useful settings. I am just amazed.
