Have had trouble for years (since digital change over) getting channels, this app solved it in 5 minutes. The direction we were pointing (based on other surrounding antennas) was about 25 deg out. Swing the antenna based on the app, and got perfect reception. Would recommend it to anyone with reception problems.
Great app! It verified my antenna had been moved by the wind about 30 deg. I used the inbuilt pointing function with magnetometer and re positioned it. Good signal now, no breakups. Btw, it would be good to also have a dab+ function, as some people also need a yagi for this.
Using this app allowed me to finally correct my tv antenna orientation and get perfect reception. Bear in mind your phone needs to have a compass sensor for that function to work. However, the app provides a line over aerial photography, so even without a compass accurate orientation is easy using landmarks.
overall has been fantastic in the past and i even recommend it to my customers. unfortunately the direction finder has stopped working correctly. although my phones compass is correct, the map transmitter finder shows the completely wrong direction
non functional, the app is not comparable with android pie, on a Galaxy note 9, map doesn't work at all, and channel list has never shown any channels, to be useful, all these functions would have to work.
Used on trips around Victoria. Very useful in pointing antenna in correct direction. Best to find nearest transmitters and check signal strength and then use compass. I use additional compass to verify N.
Really, to do anything you have to watch a 30 second ad every time, not just at the start, uninstalled before I could even use it for what it is supposed to do!!
Had all the info I needed to my tv aerial pointing in the best direction.
Knows where your tv signals are available and point relevant to your home or van. Has info on strength plus satellite and other stuff
Not helpful at all, i know where the broadcast antenas are located but what direction is that?
Very nice compendium of useful info and well presented. Dziekuje
There's nothing that indicates which direction is where. It tells me where I'm located at, but that's it. Not which direction I'm facing.
unusable with adds
Fantastic,i found abc through the app.
Its a little bit confusing
What is this app is about, I don't know so I deleted it.
Thank to all
It does exactly what its supposed to. Im not sure what others are talking about with ads, but its a great app for a freebie. Granted...you need to be a little tech savvy, but if you are using this app and you dont understand the given data then go back to your day job and stop being a know it all. Just saying :)
Rubbish since we now have to watch a video advert before seeing path profile. What goes through some people's minds..
Screw watching an ad to then see what you need. Waste of time when it is easier and ad free via browser
It needs to offer in app purchase to remove ads. The ads are so big in size. I always like to pay to remove ads.
Doesn't work, I'm watching TV and it say can't find any thing
Works all over Australia. Great travel tool.
I like the fact it has a map, but this is only of use when connected. Would it be possible for an option to use OpenStreetMap for off-line use? An option to use a map on-line instead of satellite, to reduce data usage, or if you have a slow connection would be good too. I look forward to testing it properly, "on the road".
Would love to be able to export this as a muxes list for tvheadend. Or even just save to email or something.. If I have to enter the data into tvheadend manually.. Cutting and pasting from a linux or windows box would be easier.
Really handy tool for travellers and antenna installers. Now with updated database since the restack. Recommended.
Have tested the beta version and all seems to work perfectly. Great app Thanks
Awful. I can't get it to work at all. Compass shows no movement, no directions for antenna etc.. Weird set-up parameters that I know nothing about and lots of apparently useless info. I just want to know which way to point my antenna and this app us not doing that, for me anyway.
