UI is clunky at best. HD h.264 streams don't play without an external player.
It's OK but it really needs an update
Since the last update of the app there is like a double Audio playback which introduces like an echo effect. When i click on Disable Audio one is turning off and the other one continues. So then it is fine. The problem is also that even if i go back to the channel list the audio streaming continues and even when i close the app the audio continues. I have to force close the app to stop the audio streaming. Please fix it. With the version 4.0.4 it worked perfectly!
Why two separate apps for normal Android touch apps and large screen apps used with a remote? I cannot use the theatre app but would like this one to work with a remote control properly.
The bugs are gone. I still find the buttons unnecessarily small, and I am using a 8 inch tablet.
EPG is falling out, video is lacking and sound quality is generally bad
Looks a bit better but the search is broken (the keyboard doesn't come up) and it all feels a bit laggy.
Extremely slow in loading epg and search that works poorly to mention a few of its limitations . Also lacks chrome cast support without 3rd party software.
The new version is a lot better. My one complaint is that if you have a username and password set, the app doesn't ask you to enter them, it just says Invalid Stream.
Works very well and never had any issues.
Hugely better than before. Hopefully the forthcoming remote control support wont be too long then I can sideload it onto my firetv stick.
The new version update forgot all previous settings. It now asks for server IP not URL (I use a dynamic IP with fixed URL) - not sure if this problem but cannot connect anyway.
Can't save transcoding settings and can't exit app.
App keeps crashing every 2 mins on version 2.3.0. Very clunky. Needs a complete overhaul. Cannot set favourite channels, slow to navigate to different channel or day. Series record not very intelligent (records too many alternative instances).
Useless installation for my set up. Dvb link server 5.1 on Synology ds213air can't see Samsung smart tv ue48h6400 tuner. All my kit is ethernet going through trendnet gb box. This is a redundant app.
Doesn't disconnect stream when the TV window is closed, tying up the tuner, then usually hangs the phone or tablet. Could be brilliant if done properly. (Server running on Asustor NAS)
A+ for concept, F- for implementation. Constantly freezes when scrolling through the EPG on my SG5. iOS version does not suffer from these problems - so problem just a lack of effort on the part of DVBLogic to really commit to making the Droid version as good as they can.
Starting to look good! Still quirks like not tuned for full screen lollipop UI and application can hang, but looking better. Shame streaming is hls or rtp and not mpeg dash though.
Guessing it has to do with ART runtime. Nexus 5 here
I really like the whole concept, but this app crashes my whole phone...The interface is doubtful at best...
Works well with my Synology server
Constantly crashing
It works with my Synology ds214play and Cloud IBOX III. Slow with a multi sat setup and no channel groupings. Transcoding works well and is welcome. Few suggestions... can we have a way of grouping channels by either sat or bouquet to make finding a channel easier ? Also channel searcher maybe ? A widget allowing for the profile to be set on an icon for home and away ip addresses as it's a faff going into settings each time. Some way of setting a list of most watched or favourites ?
Come on you've known for months android 5 was being released. I pay for the service so it should be updated
No longer works since upgrading to version 5 of the sever
Terrible UI. It works mostly, but it takes a long to find out how it works (playing a channel by tapping the channel name instead of the play button) and some buttons are too close to each other.
