would have given 5 stars but it keeps crashing. it could do with a few improvements like being able to edit each one as you go and selecting that you have multiple copies, also when you have Dvd's the have more than one movie, it only adds details of the one not both, other than that it's easy to work out and the operation is pretty basic and understandable.
It is a great app for keeping a list of your movies. The reason I only give it 3 stars is because after scanning a few barcodes I start getting an error message on the search results. Also D. Harvey never responded to the email I sent him over a week ago. If not for those 2 issues I would definitly give it a 5 star rating
Yeah finally a developer who isn't greedy! Great app 1 off payments (extra cloud remove ads) not ridiculous yearly subscription. Far as can tell unlimited collection free device and 500 cloud free. Can be difficult to find stuff by title. Background works sometimes other not, for some reason search just gives up searching if bulk searching (occasionally), then need to manually restart it then have to stay on app, Could do with some indication searching is happening. But otherwise great!!
This is far far too slow at present. I spent an hour last night scanning my DVDs up to G in alphabetical order. I have since then been trying to get it to update the information associated with those disks. 24 hours later and I still haven't get to the end of F. It would have been faster to write it into a spreadsheet manually then import it. Uninstalled.
Pretty good. Has a hard time with a SD card to store the library. Scanning is fine. Able to add missing title pictures. Lots of customization and features. Would be great to be able to reset the sequence numbers for the whole list.
Love this app.. but wish it was better supported. it's a great app and I catalogue everything on DVD, bluray and 3D that I have... but it's not really working now. no update and manually have to add new discs now. I hope this gets an update. would happily play a few £'s for a fully working, updated, and supported version.
Love this app. But for some reason it doesn't find any details for new DVDs. If you do search internet via the app it finds based on barcode. But when you search for details or pictures, it finds nothing??? Dropped to 1 star. No updates so still no details for new DVDs. Avoid until updated. When put barcode into Amazon finds no problem.
Does not look up any more. It used to be brilliant but now you have to load every single item in. So not good at all. Do not bother with it if you are wanting to add all your library it can only do one manual entry at a time
The settings don't work and the ads are too often for the app quality. Scanning and information was ok but not applying the changes to field settings makes it unusable.
Updates of recent causes more headaches then app is worth. Tries to use up memory & cpu. Think your app as been hacked since you added adverts. Can find adverts quickly, but try finding your library....goodluck.
Brilliant app! Its laid out very much like the app creators book database app and CD database app so you should consider downloading those as well. In addition to being a BREEZE to use I can also backup the database to my memory card, in case the phone dies, that way i can easily move the data to a new phone. Brilliant!
The search facility doesn't work very well, I've tried to search on all Blu-Ray films but it finds all sorts of films. Can you please look into the quality of the search facility?
It works for dvds vhs are listed under video you can also input blu-ray I also noticed that you can use the sequence number to sort where it is on the shelf this is a brilliant app so far
Until a few months ago I would haven given the app 5 stars. The recent update deletes the database, even when scanning in new discs, making the app useless. Please fix it.
Just done the update. Can find me an advert in split seconds..... cant find my dvds...😖 just got it back again. All though all pictures must be kept in your gallery. Or you loose the cover photos.
wish i could put this on my andriod 5.1 tablet the best thing about this is that i can choose which barcode scanner is compatible with my galaxy tab 4 (androide 4.4). i use pic2shop scanner. other scanners dont work no any of my tablets.
Although I've bought the no-Ads version, I'm thinking about uninstalling it because it doesn't update any information about the barcode scanned, so it's becoming completely useless...
This was a very good app until they stopped updating it! Now, it doesn't update any DVD information and is basically a useless app
I loved this app before, however, it takes forever to scan things in. You have to wait until it finds the last scan before you can scan again.
Doesn't recognise the barcodes of at least half of my UK releases and the ones it does recognise very little information is found.
Very good app. Lots of options. 5 stars. Only problem is there is no add free version. Witch I would gladly pay for.
this was a GREAT App until it stopped looking up my dvds. then when I renamed the shelves some dvds were in I lost the shelves. The renmed shelves just disappeared
Have had this app for years, but haven't accessed it since the addition of adverts. I just deleted it.
Installed, scanned the first row of 12 DVDs...all 12 said 'Nothing Found'. Deleted this POC, moving on.
Decent... The barcode reader takes about 2 mins for each film tho. Faster to type titles .🙄
What a fabulous app. All my video collection easily stored and cataloged.
My experience with this app is that it scans in DVD bar codes quickly, conveniently, and fairly accurately once you get the hang of how to do it. But the subsequent process of looking up the DVD's info (title, etc.) is horrendously slow, taking perhaps a minute per DVD to do so. Fortunately, you can keep scanning in new DVDs, because the lookup occurs in the background. But if you've scanned in a few hundreds of DVD bar codes, it make take a full day to look them all up. I use similar apps for scanning books and CDs, and lookup is instantaneous, so it's really hard to understand why this is so very slow. If the DVD lookup were faster, my rating would have been much higher.
