Dwell: Audio Bible

For those that wrongly think this is a scam. The app costs less than $3.50 a month over a year. Surely some people pay more than that for garbage Netflix or Disney programming. This is a beautifully implemented app and well-worth the price. Edit: Excited to get the new Read upgrade. This is one of my favorite apps. Looking forward to what is next.

Great app!! - But very expensive! Love being able to swap voices depending on the book or my mood. On Android there is no option to repeat verses, just chapter, book and queue even though the description notes you should be able to, as well as the demo video. Sleep timer would be beneficial to end at the close of a chapter or book, not just a timer. I would give 4 stars if these features were updated, 5 if the price was lower that $60AUD per year...

Hi. I really enjoy your app. I wish you would allow looping of the individual books of Bible and the ability to manually enter where you want to start off in listening to the whole Bible, the New and Old Testament also. I also wish there was an option in the Playlist to enable or disable the verse being read out loud. Thank you

A good enough experience that I paid for the lifetime membership. My favorite thing is being able to make your own playlists. Everything is so customizable it was worth the money. They have several translations and voices, you can choose the background music and volume of each, the time between verses in playlists, even the speed of the voice! I'm very impressed. Now just let me share my playlists with other subscribers that I know. Also can we make our own plans?

Where I must, need and desire to dwell in. Great app and greater love behind it. May God reward all who participate in it manifold. Yet, it may take few more touches, like auto rotate bet. Portrait & landscape. Second, to allow the addition of a whole book of the Bible to a playlist, not chapter by chapter. Thanks

App is basically unusable. You cannot make custom playlists in spite of the help section claiming you can. The instructions do not correlate to the actual app. You also can't seem to remove things from the cue. I want to love this app, I love the concept. The functionality ruins it for me.

the best bible meditation app I'm aware of. the voices are good (could you use some more women's voices) and the background music is helpful and adds to the experience. I've given it as a gift to others. highly recommended.

You can tell hard work was put into it. Not only is it a great resource for personal bible reading - and I emphasize reading, because there is a read along option- but it does not cater to one denomination. It has virtually every Bible translation one could ask for.

Really good overall, buy I've been having issues recently with it cutting out constantly, despite my service being fine. Not sure if it's android auto or the app or a combo of both that's doing this but either way it's frustrating.

Fantastic way to engage with the Bible, especially if you struggle to read from a screen or print. Lots of voices to choose from, reading plans and music.

I really love this app - it is a lot more flexible and easy to use for repeating passages than free apps. I enjoy the voice and version options. It was especially wonderful hearing a Kenyan accent!! I hope they will incorporate more non-American accents. Also, my only complaint is that I wish the sleep timer had an "At End of Scripture Range" option other than just times. The purchasing options seem very fair to me - especially if you use a podcast promo code.

Love the different readers! They are amazing. I really appreciate the ability to change the music type and volume independent of the speech.

Still waiting for Android to catch up with updates to iOS. However, with that being said, this is still the highest quality audio readings of scripture available, and I highly recommend.

Dwell, it's just well thought out from the ground up, love the different voices and translations and the read-along feature is really great as well! Keep up the good work!

One of best features of the app is to be able to make playlists for whatever you wish to study. I have playlists for each book of the Psalms and it is awesome

Needs option to see and select translation type, fade speech and music in/out instead of suddenly stopping

I love dwell with all my heart! I have been suffering without it. I had it for a year and it completely changed my whole relationship with God! It gave me joy and honestly just changed my life. It was the best $30 I have ever spent! I just wish it were a little more affordable bc sadly the price has changed. I've been looking for a new audio bible but none of them compare to dwell, and I mean none. But if you can afford it I highly, highly recommend it!

This app has it all. Background music or not. Speed settings. A million different plans. Different voices. Reminders. Read along which I like a lot!! 💯💯 My church offered it to the entire church body. Very nice indeed!!

Its not apparent on opening the app for the first time what content is free and what is payable. Everything i happened to click was part of a plan $, so it appeared that everything was $. If this is true it should be product that is bought outright not one that says some functions are payable.

I love the voice and well organized scriptures....they flow into one another, gracefully....U learn alot about yourself n sparks a desire to grow... Nice Job!!

excellent way to consume God's word. The various translations are excellent in helping that. I have discovered the random setting a very good thing. This builds faith and understanding and knowledge and revelation.

The demo of the app worked great until I purchased. Now I can't access anything or support. I purchased in September and this February decided to reinstall the app and it worked fine. 🤷
