Dying Light Companion

I'll be honest, I'm not sure what happened, when I first downloaded. I was constantly stuck on their login. and never could get it working for a few days. I uninstalled it afterwards. round a month later I decided to give it another go. & it worked now. their missions. package. Everything by far is working fine. I guess you'd need some time them to verify the logins of techland account. not steam account (dumb me thought it was steam account.. haha)

The UI/UX design is truly awful. No sorting options, no explanation for half of the icons on the screen. The task balancing is atrocious, as well- the breakdowns of XP and $/min, as well as the relatively fixed damage results, means some missions are simply not worth doing. Most of the missions are just too short. It's too intensive for a good mobile game. Finally, gatekeeping consistent acquisition a lot of the crafting materials in DL behind a mobile game is absolutely dumb.

As of 12/8, the app won't load for me anymore. Got it to work for a month or so, got to the end with everything unlocked and now it just tells me connection error regardless of the numerous networks I've tried. Support said they'd forward it on but the app hasn't been updated in two years.

Fun little resource generating game. Fixed now, which is nice as it's both fun and helps with the crafting in the Main game. It is hands off, more or less, you pick missions and send scouts off to complete them. It's nice to have it doing it's thing in the background. It requires an internet connection during the start of missions and at the end to check what you got and then to get it.

it's a very simple but well thought out app. the companion app adds immersion to the game and unlike other mobile games and apps doesn't attempt to sting you with micro-transactions. my only critique would be that there hasn't been a lot of new content which can make things a little stale after using it regularly. if that's the price of zero extra costs though then I'm all good with that

Very helpful and awesome app for your game saved at home. You send runners out to collect random items that you then send to and collect from your game's save. It even adds a little fun because you have to choose who to send on certain types of missions, power and agility. They level up and may die if you do it right so make sure they're health isnt low and can actually fight the mission.

App is COMPLETE garbage, like everyone else has said, gave it the benefit of the doubt. Downloaded it tried to register gave me an error, deleted it and tried again another error. Total waste of time seems to be great from looking at it but it's unusable. Give it a go if you want hope you can get it to work, good luck.

Edited: From initial problems such as registering to simply glitched missions. "Medic" has been completed yet I cannot for whatever reason turn in to get rewards. My 3 survivers are now unable to be used... I get notifications saying it has been completed yet does not say "check results". I am connected to internet and have been using other survivors to complete other missions in the meantime. Also would appreciate easier ways to get chemicals (only reason I use this app).

Doesnt let me log in. It says my password is wrong. I even changed my sony password and used that one. Still doesnt work. (Incorrect login or password) and yes it's the right log in. I thought this app would be cool but like it doesnt feel worth it anymore. Just frustrating. Hopefully it gets fixed. Maybe it's not a problem with the app it's something else. But I just wish it worked out

Don't waste your time, app doesn't work properly, cant creating an account on the app even though it makes out that you can so you just have to go onto their website, not a big issue but don't make it an option if its not going to work, secondly and a big issue, when you try to log in it just keeps saying incorrect email or password and doesn't work when you request the forgotten password option

Can't even create a profile, the integration between steam and the app fails. No exit button, and back button on the login page does nothing, so had to force close. App doesn't support vertical, so you have to enter all the info to create an account (which doesn't work) on horizontal mode.

All you do is pick up to 3 people to send out on missions to get stuff. Its not always a guarantee that they come back with loot at all. There are 3 numbers 1 is your fighting ability another is your scavenge ability and the last is under your character info and I don't know how its calculated for some reason the last mission in old town requires too hight of skill for any fighters and I'm losing money trying to heal any that go I recommend party's of 4

This app helps you to get a great amount of supplies in the main game! Plus it's very easy to use, and to learn! This app still works, don't think it doesn't, many have helped explain how, but if you still can't log in after linking your appropriate platform, just contact support, and explain your situation! support @ techland.pl (No spaces in the email)

It is really an optional app for the Dyling Light game. It is quite helpful. It does give me a little more help with the gameplay by supplying myself with more materials, components, etc. It is also good for killing time a small but of time when you are away from your computer.

Downloaded, made account linked it to steam then encountered nothing but issues. I cant actually log in, just resets the login screen. But when it does doe somthing all i get is connection errors. App needs removed.

Absolutely love it, only slight complaint I have is when the app has been open for a while and you've used it a fair bit the stats start smashing together and start missing numbers and letters, easy fixed by just force closing and restarting the app, other that, great app, time taken to reach in game is reasonable, items are highly useful, and the ability to affect my game while I'm not even home is amazing.

Great for reward bonuses in the actual game, but it would've been nice if you could choose entire item sets to send rather than individual items. What I mean is, say you have 15 med kits in the app (this is all hypothetical). You want to send them all, but there's only 12 slots and each med kit takes up 1 of them. The whole 15 should take up 1 slot. I think that would be fair because it isn't exactly the type of app that you can grind, so it wouldn't be brokenly overpowered. But, still nice.

It's a great companion app for us zombie slayers, and would even be fun for someone who doesn't play the game. The UI and mechanics and easy to work with, and completing missions is rewarding. Sending over packages is unique and fun. 10/10 perfect app.
