Yep, does exactly what it advertises. In fact, it's shockingly easy to set up: just toggle it on, and it does its thing! No root, no admin, no terribly convoluted setup process, it *just works*. The feature itself is super useful, as there was previously no way to have an in-between of "no rotation" and "auto rotation", and manual rotation is a painful process on Android. With this app, you can rotate your device without rotating the screen, while still getting the option to do so.
Recently instaled, working perfect so far! I suggest giving the user the choice exactly where the button will appear on screen, but assign different positions to portrait and landscape, as well more custom options for the icon, but thats just an extra As well an option to return to default orientation without needing to press the icon Great app!
It works well when it is active. That is IF it is active. And it automatically closes up on me. Although the app is active, the suggestion button does not appear. It is very frustrating and I have already whitelisted this app from battery saver. So I have done my part. Please tell what to do or fix this yourself please!!
BEST and MOST RESPONSIVE Rotation App !!! Very FAST and RESPONSIVE!!! SUPERB Persistency !!! Works VERY, VERY WELL !!! While others r OK when u first turn them ON, they either don't work after a while and have to be turned on again, become unresponsive or loose their persistence. I've uninstalled the rest and am happy to give this "VERY GOOD" rating ! CHEERS GUYS !!!
Generally worked well on an LG G4, but it also forced the home screen and lock screen to rotate, which normally cannot be rotated. The app drawer and main icons on the home screen broke when rotated to landscape, but could be restored by rotating back to portrait. Unfortunately, after locking and unlocking while in landscape, the system icons (home, back, etc.) disappeared and even though the rotate button appeared when the phone was rotated, it did not work when it was pressed.
The button itself works very well, spent a while trying out the settings to get what suits me best. The problem is with the whitelist, it works the first time I set it up, but if I want to add more apps to it after a while it crashes, so I have to reset it and it works fine after that. It's no big deal for me but if I didn't know how to restore it it would have been a pain to use
Amazing rotation app. Probably the best one out there, there is another that comes close but this is the best screen rotation app that I have ever used. This app allows me to use my phone's capacitive buttons resulting in more screen real estate. Thank you and Happy New Year
In a fairly recent update I've noticed that after locking and waking up the screen the screen orientation tends to be in landscape mode. This is not desirable. Need to remember orientation before lock.
Works great, and comes with a lot of configuration settings -- adjusting icon position, size, opacity, etc. I'm currently using "Dynamic Rotation: Android P Style" since it doesn't have ads, but this is a fine alternative.
Does EXACTLY what i was looking for!! Just one suggestion Please add fascility to come back to previous orientation just after the device is rotated to verticle (or to a previous orientation). Rest all good. ..also option for Color selection for rotate button should be more.
Nice app. Does what it advertise. It's so comfortable as a "landscape/portrait switcher". It becomes handy when you are in bed and like to have more control on your screen rotation.
Nice app. Decrease the sensitivity of app. Icon appears even for the slightest tilt of phone. Also, if opening a game which is default for landscape mode, game does not open if we have selected erect mode. Allow the games to autostart in default orientation
In red MI note 7 pro, suggestion button was not appearing. Always I've to launch the app to get it on the screen. But in my previous phone, it worked very nice and very helpful. Please solve the issue.
Can't change size of rotate portrait button. It is also not in the correct place when I set position to bottom right. Would've been perfect without these issues.
For those of us who won't be seeing Android P for a long time, this is a sweet little gift of one of the cooler features P offers. It's stable and works great! It even offers a little customisation. Definitely worth a try!
Good app, but the positioning is very basic. On rounded corner devices (OP7) the button is hiding under part of the curve. Allowing XY pixel movements would be awesome.
I'd like to have more control of each app for example there aren't all system apps and I don't want the button to appear on my home screen , otherwise it's brilliant
Cool. Perfect. Just downloaded it and seems to be the smoothest and the most intuitive tool for controlling rotation.
I like your apps. Dynamic rotation is also a useful tool. I wish to use it for rotating my Samsung phone's screen whose orientation sensor does not work. I couldn't manage that.
Good for some apps that you want to force rotation but not so good for the home screen. Icons are compressed to one side and get cut off.
it should also appear on the navbar and there is no option to customize the icon, the color option is available but there's no option to change the icon itself, these 2 features: appear on navbar and change icon, are very necessary
just what i was looking for. i am using oneplus 6 and love oneplus's implementation of gestures. but android pie's auto rotate feature is too good. so using this app with oneplus's gestures is just a breeze. good work and thanks to developers😄
Good ideea but force closes in Settings. Also the overlay button should custom choices, i would set it to switch between locked orientation/full senzor.
After using it extensively , I can say that its not good. It keeps closing. Doesn't stay in memory and have to start the app again and again to use.
Love it. Unfortunately I dont use it anymore because it was causing interference problems and rotation problems.
Working good while free! Don't ever pay a dime, cause it's not working properly after I paid for this app. Total waste of money...
Great. I have use this app as there is no rotation suggestion in gesture navigation. Works perfectly.
WHAT JUST HAPPENED? First of all, I paid to be able to set orientation for each app. Then I spent a half hour going through my whole list, including system apps, assigning portrait, landscape. or sytem. I tested various apps, and it worked beautifully! I was VERY satisfied. So, believing my settings were permanent (until I make a change) I swiped the rotation app off. Mistake! Opened it again, saw it was switched off, so I turned it back on. Went to check my apps list, and IT WAS GONE! And, once again, it asked me to pay in order to set orientations per app. Again. It acted as though I had uninstalled it, and re-installed. I did not. All I did was turn it off. WHAT HAPPENED?
