This is an exceptional app. A real example of how things should be done. It's intuitive, aesthetically pleasing and, above all, offers stacks of functionality. I would like it if the machine or app could report what fan speed is on at auto. Overall, I'm very happy with the Dyson purifier and this incredibly slick app really elevates the experience of using it.

Seems quite flaky. I set it to oscillate to 180 degrees but it forgets every time and sits without rotating. I have to manually set it to oscillate every time. Edit: In response to Dyson's response: It doesn't ever oscillate automatically, I have to manually set it every time. Maybe I'm missing something and if so I would argue that your app isn't very informative since it's not operating as expected. Also, no Google Assistant support. Edit: Filters are over £60 to replace, really dislike Dyson.

The user experience could be better and a little more intuitive. With the air purifier/humidifier it is not obvious when the device is on auto. Does no one test these apps in the real world. I. E. Live with it for a week. If they did they would realise the sleep timer is confusing and the fact that you have to switch between screens for different controls (remote control section) to choose certain functions that should be part of the main screen menu structure.

Useless app. Worked well for a while after purchasing. Now it refuses to connect. I didn't change any hardware or passwords at all. It just failed to connect…piece of junk!! Update: I disconnected the machine for 10 minutes, and it reconnected with my wifi successfully. Until the next time 😑

Doesn't work with a brand new machine, I contacted customer support and they were unhelpful, stated that it is only on the formaldehyde devices (most expensive) and that the functionality remains the same as having the app. This just isn't true, as you can't set a timer etc. Really poor service.

App/AirPurifier: Information on the landing page doesn't match the graph detail. Even when air quality is above the target level, the unit doesn't turn on. Also, I put a new genuine Dyson filter every January; just put this last one on 1/30/22, suddenly the usage percentage jumped and the app now says that as of today (3/22/22) the new filter is already at 55%?!?! In two months on mostly auto mode?!? Is this a ploy to get us to buy more filters and sooner than needed?? So much for 12mos.

You're refusing to add smart home integration for a slightly older model, even though it's already connected to the app and wifi. It's a disgusting way of forcing customers to buy the newest model... Last time Dyson for me. Also, the data could show a lot more depth and specifications. There is a huge lack of transparency as to why the app decides on a certain air quality analysis. This tells so little, it's not telling me anything.

I have 3 Dyson air purifier machines at home, but this app only let me install only one of them. The other 2 machines for some reason it won't let me connected to this app at all. Even though I did all the steps correctly. I even unplugged them and waited 10 minutes to try to link them up again, but it still would not let me do it at all. So frustrated! Arrrrgggggghhhhhhh! Stupid and useless app! 😡

Would give higher but when the fan is "disconnected" you have to go to it and unplug it when it is literally next to the WiFi router and after a few seconds shows that it is connected but still on the app after refreshing it. It STILL shows to unplug/switch off the device and to try again.

Just after filling up the survey by the app.. It refused to connect. This happen constantly. For the price dyson is selling, this is definitely a less than 1 star worth app. Extremely poor quality. N I'm not sure if the purifier is haunted or the app... The machine keep changing the setting miraculously by itself

My problem was getting my fan to link to the Internet through my home router. If there is no connection a separate problem arises that my phone cannot link through this App to the fan..Recently this App was finally updated and I no longer have any problems switching on the fan or controlling it remotely as long as I am linked to my home router.. This App which runs in your phone should be able to switch on and control your fan as long as your phone is linked to your home WiFi...

I would prefer 2 things: 1. night mode button on home screen 2. possibility to set maximum airflow speed for night mode when set on auto. Currently I can only set it to 3 which then runs device whole night at same speed or I can set it to auto which speeds device sometimes to 4, which is to loud for sleeping.

Fan seems to disconnect randomly for no reason and then is unable to connect again via app or assistant. Sometimes and I mean SOMETIMES works again when you unplug the fan from the wall and plug it back in. BUT WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO DO THIS CONSTANTLY. SHOULDN'T THE THING I BUY JUST WORK.

Machine states it's offline - ANDROID app ONLY. If I use the latest Android app, it says my dysons are offline & cannot connect to wifi. I know they ARE online & speaking with my router. Unplugged for hours, reconnected, same error. IOS app connects just fine. :(

UI is good. But the data shown is not reliable and they always seem to be rough calculated. Many times the numbers are diff from the machine's display graphs. You need to switch off or reset to factory setting every day. I exchanged my machine for this, but still same issue persists. Don't know i have to rate low for the app or the machine itself.

I like having all the data and control on the phone. My wife keeps the remote on her side of the bed. Connectivity is good except for when the filters need replacing, twice now if I choose to not order replacements immediately coincidentally the unit starts having problems finding wifi, hmmm. I'm not one to believe in coincidence but it is remotely possible, just saying. Overall the air quality is much better while sharing a house with 5 cats.

The app has an advert plastered across it that wont close. The app is rendered useless. I can't access my fan to make it know I've installed new filters. Dyson doesn't respond to email only giving methods of contact that are useless to me. At the moment I'd happily return the fan personally to Mr Dyson who'd be walking funny until the removal. Big arrogant companies. Dyson, after 20 yeas you've lost my future custom

To much reliance on pictographs. Words are useful. Also the help doesn't provide links or much info, so it doesn't resolve problems. "Check the settings in app"!? is not help. It is you should already know how to use this app

Would rate 5 if I could change temp from app... All other devices like this have remote temperature control via app. Nest, Frigidaire, Honeywell, Wyze and other thermostats. At least you have good control on other aspects of the unit through the app.

Couldn't connect to PH04 humidifier/purifier from three different devices. Two Samsung phones and an iPad. Wifi and Bluetooth on with all devices. Followed instructions to ensure wifi turned on with the PH04. Tried turning off the PH04 for 10 minutes. Tried restarting the phones/iPad. Never connected. Error "We're having trouble detecting your machine". Gave up after an hour of trying. Machine works fine. App is terrible.

Based on whole dyson experience not just app. In 18 months machine broke down 3x. Replaced 2 times and repaired once But took almost a month each time. Last time when repair was book, they kept telling me it's stolen Machine and they cannot fix it. Eventually they did but kept power adapter and remote. When I called, they said will ship new. But it's out of stock so machine is still unusable. CS reached out to resolve dis satisfaction and end up saying he can't do anything. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND

Constantly connection issue while my wife can connect with ios. Also worthless humidifier and purifier ph01 . Costs you a lot but doesn't even increase humidity. All of a sudden full speed fan in night mode.

App works great for the most part, reason for 2 stars is the UL warning for heat. This is the only app that I use for my wifi heaters that does this. It is the main reason I no longer will buy Dyson fans for my home or business. I need app control for the heaters.
