By far one of the better apps out here for dictation. It does have an annoying way of stopping every time it hears a pause. Just because I pause doesn't mean the app should pause. And such a notable pause where it misses words. Correcting the dictated speech is an issue as well. I would like to dictate and edit at the same time if possible.
Accuracy is poor. I spent 40mins dictating something important and it didn't save automatically and I lost everything when I paused it and exited the app, planning to come back and finish later. There was no obvious option to save and restart later. I am going to delete this app and try another.

Don't waste your time. I gave the free version a trial run to check the word recognition for British English... it is VERY POOR. Despite what developers say this app is NOT optimised for British English. The only English language option is "World" English which, given the different styles of spoken English around the world, is a meaningless and misleading description. The free version of this app is VERY ad heavy too, making it virtually unusable.
You are forced to buy this app. Meaning if you don't, your every change brings up an ad with a full blasting phone ringing, that scared the hell out of me. It did it almost 10 times before I Saved my work. I couldn't go on because there's no way to stop it. It has to time out. Bummer!
I can point out that this is the best app I have had the opportunity to use. Often and very closely, my job is related to long texts, and time is money, this app is gold, the answer is simple, a high percentage of accuracy in converting my voice into text. I'm dissapointed with the accuracy of the transcriptions. To be fair, I have a New Zealand accent so others may not have the same issues, but it seems it is not going to be good enough for me. However I just received a push notification at a very inconvenient time (in my timezone) that an update is available. I'm sorry, but that is the final nail in the coffin. This app is too invasive for my liking, even if I were happy with the accuracy.
This whole app is a joke. I've used a few text to speech apps and this is by far the worst I've tried it with a few things now and it gets majority of the (very clear) speech very wrong. It's a hindrance and no help. Complete waste of time.
Handy application. You can record dialog or monolog and speech-to-text will very accurate recognize your words. You can change the title, edit text, change the font size, even translate, save txt file directly to phone, and many more. Recomendation!
It costs 10 bucks to get rid of the ads which are so frequent and obtrusive to make app unusable Dont get unless you are willing to spend the money to shitcan the ads. Seems to have lots of good features but there are many free aps which do as well without the costsnt ad interruptions
The app just gives you several ads and then sits on another advertisement screen. There seems to be no way to exit the screen or interact with it to move forward. Garbage.
This app requires internet connection for dictation. Your data will be sent somewhere to be analysed. There are other apps that do this offline, having privacy by design, not sending your data anywhere. Do not trust developers who says they'll encrypt your data. If it is encrypted with their key, they can also decode it. The only way to make sure the data is not collected is to make sure no data is sent.
I've been trying to download this app for hours. I've done all the sleuthing re: my device and I have enough memory/storage, etc. Any thoughts? UPDATE: I sincerely asked for thoughts. I’ve never had an app not load. Never. Not being a software developer, I expected a suggestion - maybe - I.e. check this or that. I would have absolutely updated my entry to reflect assistance from the company. Your “not to blame” remark speaks volumes.There are several one-star reviews before mine.
Unusable. Even after the update for Android Pie. Now it correctly changes the language, but it doesn't recognize a single word. Although Ads keep popping up non stop at every tap. Yes, Ads they work.
I did help gboard but I was having problems with speech to text. It's easier for me to do speech to text cuz I'm older person. So far so good. I am looking forward to using the other language features. So I'm going to give you a 5 right now.
Very accurate text to speech conversion. A highly useful app. Except for a few crashes here and there. But overall a great app.
It is a really good dictation app! Very easy to use. You can just speak and it converts into text and it's smooth to copy the text to other apps like whatsapp and Facebook! Very useful and user friendly app👍🏼
First time of use. Reasonably accurate transcription but some mistakes. Punctuation a mess. Full stops appear mid sentence and no capitalisation. I'm not very impressed. It will need a lot of correction.
I downloaded app, went in and it translated. Could not find option to translate to Spanish. Anyway when I went exit, the exit button was covered by an advert. I struggled to get out of the app
hello I'm going to try this again. okay I'm going to try this again. I could not get it to work before. now it seems to be working okay. save this as a text file. so it records, copy, past, and saves. it did not save as the name nor folder i wanted. first time. however is usable. the first time i installed, the sentence in text was not what i said. i uninstalled and installed again. is ok.
I have been using this app for a long time and I was very pleased with the features it offered compared to other apps. Now I am even more thrilled after this update you did. Just keep going in that direction and thank you for making it easier for us to dictate by voice! Good luck!
Pretty good. The only time I have issues is switching languages. Sometimes you switch the language if you don't start using it immediately it switches back to the previous language
Best capture of words, almost spoke casually and my words got in! Fabulous.. Easy to use, but I wished for a quick keyboard for punctuation and allied. And, I could not find the word count.
The UI is beautiful, but in the first 2 seconds of my use, a disruptive ad popped up. Perhaps try to incentivise new users to come back.
good app especially useful for talking with barrier. but ads should not be shown at first open. but overall the functionality of this app is extremely useful.
