e-Lost Report
Lodging a police report about a lost document or object becomes indispensable where it is a prerequisite for reissue of the lost document i.e. Passport Driving Licence, Registration certificate of vehicle , Educational Certificates, PAN Card etc. Such losses are very often detected by victims after a gap of time and even the exact place and time of loss may also not be known to them. In particular, persons travelling through Bengaluru city or tourists find it very difficult to go back to the place where the document or article may have been lost and lodge a report in the Police Station for getting a new document issued or to make claims of insurance. Therefore Bengaluru City Police has decided to enable Mobile Phone and web based reporting of such lost/missing articles without the need to go to a police station. This report can be lodged from anywhere and print out can be taken with a digitally signed copy which will be sent to the complainant on the given e-mail ID. Such digitally authenticated certificates can be verified online by the officer or agency where such certificates are to be presented.

Very convenient app. but it is not sending email of the list report. I have double checked in the spam folder. Also, not able to download the pdf report from the app as the download fails. please correct the issue. thanks
Not able to register myself even after trying multiple times. I get OTP on my phone on entering it, and pressing verify, there is no response. tried website as well, it returns error post entering OTP. visited police station as well, I was asked to try from other mobile. not able to lodge a complaint on lost article.
The App is very useful, who are able to use it. But my experience shows that the description and brief facts mentioned in the application are not fully reflected in the column and as a result a full report is not available in the report. Request little more space to write the details and availab ility of the full text of the case for various firms.
NEED HELP. Need to fix retrive/found option in case we find the missing items back. I got my documents back, but not able to say that using app. button is not working. App is really useful in terma of filing loat document report online. Thank You for enabling this.
When you go to police station to file a lost phone complaint, they say you need to file complaint online. Sounds good... You go to website it says to download the elost app. Even better. Digital revolution. You download the elost app... it says new users need to register. Sure... Fine. You register and it doesn't work! Says "try again" every time. Did someone switch off the server while going home to "save electricity"? Finally i notice that this app was Last updated 2017. 🤦
I'm not able to register e-lost report. The police station cannot be selected from the list. When I try registering as new user with different mail ID and phone no. it doesn't happen. It says try again. Please rectify this problem. Without registering the report I can't do anything about my lost documents.
The drop down to select police station is not at all loading. Very badly designed app. Had lot of issues to register as a new user. Very bad user experience.
@BengaluruPolice The app has been designed keeping simplicity as the objective- 5 stars for that. However the functionality of the app seems to be a downfall since users like myself are facing issue when it comes to submitting a report at the final page. Please fix the issue at the earliest.
I Have given the three stars as for this good initiative of bringing this kind of service to people. But why i can't give more than three is because first app should work properly as it is not verifying the code which has been sent to mobile for registration. Till this step i have gone through so reviewed up to this and lets see if the issue solved and i can further logde a complaint then i can say how the process of lodging a complaint. But thanks to BCP for making our lives beautiful and happy.

App has good motive and very much useful functionalities.But ,While I trying to login or register not working .Trying from 15 days no use.kindly fix the issue as this is the most on demand service which is essential for public.
I can't submit without selecting the police station, and the police station list is not loading at all. I am completely stuck.
App is not registering, when I enter details and press submit it will show busy circle for some time and then it will show message please try after some time. Same thing repeats whenever tried. I am trying from three days
i am trying so hard for last one hour but not able to get registered after putting the OTP multiple times. not sure if this app is still functional. I request someone to please help me... I know this is a great service but it will be helpful if this works for us.. sorry for the low rating but hope this message gets required attention
its really waste app for registering complaints. Its almost one year I have reported loss of my phone. No action or progress on it even after checking with ramamurthynagar police station police many times in between through call and whatsapp. Its understood that there is no use of complaining through this app.
I have tried to register FIR in the Frazer Town Police Station, in turn staff advised me to down load E-Lost Report in the Mobile and get acknowledgement. It was tried several times their but could not register,as given OTP in the Mobile not responded by their server. It was advised to register later in the evening may be due to server error. I tried several times since yesterday till now but sane result.
Worst app, Not an user friendly, Tried to locate police station, Either there is no list of stations available nor displaying any station names. Officials please look into it and update the app with all the info, Thanks
My phone was stolen today and I wanted to raise a complaint but when I am trying to register has a new user, entering all required details a pop appears with OTP option. I am waiting an entire day I haven't received the OTP and could not register through the app and lodge a complaint.
I cannot register in the app, it just says try again. I tried registering in the website and I'm not getting an otp to register. When I went to the police station they said I can only apply for stolen devices online. I have tried multiple phone numbers. If this is the only way to register a complaint then please get it fixed!!!.
Worst app, with tension of lost phone, this app never opens and takes details, worst app, worst service. Government never provides adequate and proper service. If anybody loses phone in bangalore, forget about it and don't approach these kind of applications.
I lost my wallet on 12th February 2022. I had my driving licence ,3 debit cards and 2 credit cards and had my aadhar and my pancard photocopies in it. The next day I go to report to the nearest PS that is electronic city police station and they tell me to download this useless app. I come back home and after downloading the app tried registering but it never registers . I just wanted to do a normal GD so that if my information is misused then i have a proof but nogo.Useless app ever.
The App does not allow the User to register / login at all. Waste of time. Very disappointing.
Awesome App. I lost my ID card and filled a report using the App. I got my lost report acknowledgement form immediately. It's really a great initiative by Bangalore City Police. It saved so much of my time and physical efforts in reaching out to the concerned police station to make the report. Thanks BCP for this great initiative
Useless, Not registering, app is corupted like police. My worry behind this app they might missuse our data. Don't need to give even single star. But without start it's not getting post too. So giving false star
Awesome and convenient way to file a report. I lost my Driving License and I could report the same using this app within 15 mins. No need to go anywhere. Awesome initiative by the Government
Good initiative. Poor execution. Both stars only for BCP for thinking ahead. Use the online web portal in BCP website if you are facing errors. I tried for 20 mins and found that to be the only way. It can be really frustrating to go through these issues when you have lost something already. BCP should take note that this is not about an app's problems, it's about the state of mind of a user.
