it would be great! if they simplify it but so far so good!!!! the answer is simpler, the app have to much stuff that is good for a website, the home screen is good, the portfolio screen is also great, but when you go and initiate a Buy or Sell you should be able to do it all in one window but it keeps popping windows for all inputs... a drop down menu or something like would be better!!!

Been using this app for a few years now but I I'm not a fan of the recent changes. When I start scrolling through my portfolio it shifts to the bottom of the list. So to look at the ones below the top few I have to start from the bottom and scroll back up. More recently the app has quit loading and just locks on the title page so I've had to use the browser version. Uninstalled it and reinstalling app now to see if that works.

Every time I use the app, it tells me that I put in the wrong password and in many cases, it just circles me back to the log in page even though I put in the correct IDand Password. I've called about this problem but it's not fixed as of today. The old app was much more dependable for me. In addition, The app never shows any alerts. I have to go to the login on my computer to see all the alerts.

Not good. App text recognition is not accurate, and you can't continue with a mobile deposit if the app recognition doesn't match what you type. You can't continue if it doesn't think it matches. USELESS. It should let you decide what the check says, not the app. Not I have to mail everything. USELESS.

Extended hours, avaliable cash to invest, there are so many issues. Limit prices number malfunction. It wont let you delete and re enter. You have to make a whole new order. Very inconvienient app now....sad The management seems to care and have been fixing issues as time goes on. Still glitches with the limit orders. But i found if you erase the decimal point you are then able to continue with the same order. 5-8-22

Whoever had the smart idea to merge password and 2 factor token into a single box when enabling biometrics needs to lose their job. That is the worse UX I have seen in a long time and makes absolutely no sense. The app is nasty as it is, without adding qwerky UX that has no place in any application.

The new mandatory "upgrade" to the app is annoying as can be. I can't scroll down smoothly through my portfolio. Instead, as soon as I scroll down about 20%, it jumps all the way to the bottom. The only way to see the stocks it skips over is to go up from the bottom. I'm using a stock Samsung Galaxy S9, so this isn't an issue with some obscure or modded phone. This "upgrade" appears totally unnecessary. The only readily apparent change, aside from the glitch, is a change to the color scheme.

A new year. A new update. Same old problem with the screen jumping when you scroll up and down that drives everyone crazy. It's not about how many features, it's about the features that are there working correctly. Also seems to be frequent issues on tax lots, from the weird order it puts them in sometimes to the math being wrong sometimes, although I admittedly haven't checked since the new update so maybe that was fixed. By that I mean the days change negative, yet the days gain is positive

This app is horrible. It seems to be okay with meeting the minimum requirements to maintain "usability". The delay on quote prices has been costing me money with one aspect of my investing, and I am strongly considering migrating. For some needs I'm sure it is "adequate". But nothing relating to time sensitive functions. The overall navigation and usability is much worse than I would expect, much worse. "Meets minimum requirements" - barely. Do some research and go elsewhere. - Good Luck! -

eTrade was rendered inoperable on most Android models as of the update last week. I was very happy with eTrade weeks ago when it was functional. Now they can't get it working. The only change made to create the issue on multiple phones was an eTrade software update. It looks like this is a known and outstanding issue; we don't know if they plan to fix it instead of simply pushing clients to switchover to iPhones. 10+ days and counting, we are unable to use eTrade outside of a full computer.

Horrible service. Not because I wanted to, but because it's required for another equity service I have to use, I created an account with some issues (e.g., it didn't accept my password and required I get a text just to reset my password, but--whoops--their system refused to text me). After getting on the phone with customer service, they were able to reset the password for me, and I was able to get in. However, after I tried to update my phone number to another one to appease it, it locked me out and required I call customer service again--this time putting me on hold for 30 minutes before anyone answered. Since I hadn't set up any security questions (which are inherently insecure and seemed optional anyway), the customer service rep required I upload my driver's license via the website, despite having lots of other info on file with which they could verify me. Eff that. All I had tried to do was update my effing phone number so their system wouldn't cry any more. I had them close that account since I was fed up, and they'd said I should be able to open a new one with the other phone number (seriously, all this just to update my phone number). Again, since I'm required to have an ETrade account for the equity service I have to use, I tried opening a new account a few days after the old one finished closing. Of course this gives me grief, too. At the end, it required I call customer service, and of course they wanted verification again. This time, they wanted both driver's license and SSN *emailed* to them (since I had no access to upload anything on their website via HTTPS). The rep acted like all of this was completely normal. I refused to send sensitive info over email (she had no idea what a PGP key is), so now I'm effed due to ETrade's outdated, insecure policies. Charles Schwab has never give me grief like this (neither they nor any other financial institution I've interacted with has ever required a driver's license, had password reset issues, issues with my phone number, etc.)....

Award winning??? I can't even log in. Its made me change my password and my user name 3x (6x in total) and I still can't log on. When I tried to use the chat bot it clearly was not designed for Android use and is completely unusable. Giving up in frustration and considering moving my money elsewhere.

1990's product. Stock price does not automatically refresh evenif you have he realtime data suscription enabled. You have to manually refresh the page. They say you can enable the realtime data suscription online but the fact is you have to call. The subscription is free, you call the customer service for multiple times to have it arranged. Each time takes 1-3 hours. Guess what, they replied to my comment and told me to subscribe online again. Cheers.

Not sure what has happened to this app recently. I mainly use it for READ ONLY, but have used it recently to "schedule" fund transfers from one ETrade account to another. I won't any longer. Several of those "future" transfers are auto repeated in the activities list with unique confirmation numbers. The app is doing this on its own! Online these activities do not exist! The app debited the account TWICE!! Deleting 1 transfer from the app, deletes the true one online. Fix it! I called CustSvc

1/11/22 let us use old versions of the app. Those of us with vision problems can't read some of the small numbers now. Still a horrible app. Terrible app update. Old version was much cleaner and these colors are just plain annoying. Looks like a game. Found and installed the previous version apk... Whew... Problem fixed for me.

The app works fine for me, but the widget is terrible. There's a refresh button in the upper right corner of the widget which (when it works) is useful to update the stock prices that I want to keep tabs on. Unfortunately I can only successfully hit the refresh button one out of every 20 tries. Most of the time it selects the widget so I can move it around on my home screen or change its size. You should make the refresh button larger.

Gives alerts constantly about widget is updating. Very annoying. Update: I've uninstalled and reinstalled this so many times and it won't stop having little pop-up alerts at top of my phone about widget is updating. It never stops. It's beyond ridiculous.

love the new app,, stream lines the app and the swipe left or right, which was a fricken nightmare before, now work GREAT.. NOW to allow more than one session at at time.. like on the phone and on desktop.. TD Ameritrade allows it.. I bet a lot of folks would like this as well.. LET THEM KNOW.. Update: Just upgraded to the new Morgan Stanley version of etrade. Right off the bat I notice when scrolling the screen will JUMP to the bottom. Tried to screen record but was unable

Arithmetic is hard for E-Trade. Often times net assets don't include all the accounts shown. This can be rather jarring during unsettled times. Negative, it's a bug. Reported this to etrade desk twice. Trading, checking and premium savings accounts all checked. Randomly the net assets do not include checking and savings values.

New version and update of this app does not fix any of annoying issues with this app. App now requires constant login in. Scrolling down the list of trades in your account will instantly move your view to the bottom or top. No chance of viewing anything in-between without changing to a different cluttered view! After so many updates and still no fix for something so simple such as smooth scrolling. Update 1/18/22: Vertical scrolling is fixed, horizontal scrolling = broken. Seriously?!

Whenever I click on Balances or Orders along the top of the app the following message appears, Something Went Wrong Please Try Again. Refreshing or pressing the Try Again feature does not fix this. Any suggestions????
