E-Z App™ Train Control

April '21 update is latest version and included fix to re-enable users with Android 10+ to connect to the trains they bought from Bachmann. Here it is six months later and while the app allows connectiin again for basic contols, the sound effect don't play at all... not from your phone/tablet and not from a connected speaker. This worked fine in the old app, but sound is broken in this version and still no fix after six months? They just don't care.

I have owned a blue star train set for a long time, and uses it with my previous phone without any issues. After upgrading to a OnePlus 7T Pro, running Android 10, the app no longer seem to see the train to connect. My old phone still connects, and my wife's iPhone still works. Just wondering if it's an Android 10 problem? If I manually search for a Bluetooth device, it does see "BoxcarWilly", and I am able to establish a Bluetooth connection, it just still doesn't show up in the App for control

Same as everyone else on here. Purchased a Bluetooth Southern FT unit about 2 years ago. I recently got a brand new Galaxy a71 5G. The train shows up on my Bluetooth and is paired, but the EZ App doesn't see the loco in order to run it after several attempts by uninstalling and then reinstalling both the app and the locomotive from Bluetooth found that it's completely useless. The good side of this is my extremely old phone still runs the locomotive. It has something to do with the new phone.

the Android version of this app is bug-ridden and not full functioning. All stop does not work, it stopped some of the trains but not all. the consists function is not implemented. the multi train function is not implemented. If you want a full functioning version of this app you must get an Apple device and get the iOS version of this app so far I have found no bugs in the iOS version I am very disappointed that Bachmann has not implemented full functionality in the Android app.

The big downside of this app is that the sounds of the train come from your phone. I run my trains at a club where you are not always on top of your train. Also you cant run any other trains at the same time of non app compatible locomotives. I like the idea of this app it just doesn't works wen you run at large club layouts.

All was fine until I did the update to Android 10. Now, the Bachmann e-z app locomotives do not show upon the E-Z app screen. They cannot be run via the app. The app is not working since the upgrade to Android 10. Please repair the app, Bachmann. Thanks! All aboard.

Leaves a lot to be desired compared to the apple version. Steam chuff has a bad glitch static sound at medium and high speed. Would be fine to use if only running a diesel or two as long as you don't wanna consist.

Will not pair with the train set. Have tried 4 different devices and none find the train. This is brand new, and I gave it as a gift for Christmas. Extremely disappointing. Waiting to see if the developers respond to my request for help.

Bought this train set for Christmas but was not able to get it to connect to my Galaxy S20 with Andriod 11. Called service and they had me mail it back to them to update the firmware in the engine. Just got the updated engine back and still no luck. Train still does not connect and show up in E-Z App nor BlueRail App.

Was able to manually connect to engine as "Boxcar Willy." Engine won't show up on app itself. Engine is now an expensive paper weight until it gets fixed.

I own a samsung note 10 now and the app does not work. It did work on my note 8. I tried to go the help menus that are hyperlinked and it takes me to a site written in bulgaria language. Did bachmann sell this app off? Please fix the firmware as we like to use this train every christmas season. #Bachmann

Does not work with android update. I have two engines that can't be used now. It was a 3 or 4 star rating when I had the older operating system, but now nothing. They won't return my emails either.

No ads but angry for no control with my Thomas train. I'm unstalling the app because Every PAGE is not even showing up it only says error page does not exist, unstall this app now if you have a Thomas app will be baned I'm reporting game.

Does not work on my galaxy A01, doesn't find my locomotive and the boxcar willy is paired on the bluetooth setting. This app works on my notebook.

My locomotive use to connect to the app but , no more. Please Bachman fix this. Especially if you want me to continue to purchase your products.

Need update for Android 10 Bluetooth 4.1 please asap. Fixed! Now just need multi train control android!

The Bachmann easy DCC controller was to much money so I thought it would be a great idea to get this app. I tried all of my DCC engines and none of them wanted to show a wheel. Where does a kid get money these days

It very good, but the engine can't be mixed in a dcc consist, with other dcc engines

I wish Bachmann made ez app pere Marquette 1225 Berkshire in Ho scale someday and gs4 south pacific steam and J Class 611 Norfolk and western And. New York central Niagara steam Ho scale polar express express like Lionel did in for the holidays like Christmas. For dcc sound. Or ez app
