I like having this app and being able to control settings on my Stealth 700 gen 2 from my phone. For the most part everything works but I can't give it 5 stars due to one annoying problem. I use the custom equalizer option. Every time I reconnect my headphones, the custom sliders are still set the way I left them, but the sound does not reflect the settings. I have to go into the custom equalizer and move the sliders out of place and back to get it to take effect again. Fix that and it's 5 stars
The app worked just find right off the bat. Now I cannot get the app to connect to the headset for the life of me. Yes, the headset is connected to my phone. I checked the playstore to see there was an update I was missing that would potentially fix this issue... nope! Quite unimpressed.
the audio quality is very high, iv had studio headphones that turtle Beach 700 steath outperformed. however I when I play in a party on xbox live I can't hear the other people despite hours of trouble shooting, and being the holiday season when I got them 30 days had long passed by the time I tried them to find this. it's so frustrating for me and my friends for this I can only give 2 stars. if I was listening to music it would be 5
It really is a cool app. I can see why some people may feel like it's not that special, but I've had 0 problems with the app, and the TB Stealth 700 Gen 2 headphones are 10 times better than my 650 stealths I just previously owned. I'm Turtle Beach for life. I've always said that, and it will never change.
it's not really reactive to your input. it has a simple and intuitive layout without have simple or intuitive effects on the sound quality. it's a good start but hopefully this is just the start..... only way to go is up from here.
Finally much more POSITIVE results. It's lazy (not building some kind of ecosystem) to have so many headsets and you have FOREVER just had 4 apps. One (this one) has been expected to not think at the very least that I may just be a gluten for punishment and own more than one or even more than one's that are a bit pricey.. I think some how (not nailed down) having more than one and for sure even if off/not in use. Just it someway being seen or whatever is a gigantic hiccup!! Let's all try to
Just got the 700 Gen 2 Max 2 days early. It connects to my phone (Samsung S21 Ultra) no problem. I connect to my Playstation. But not to the App. I feel the Audio is a little low, not quite as loud as I hoped. 50mm should be louder. But that just might be that I can't get the App to work and adjust.
stealth 700 gen 2s are awful...no reason for a good solid headset to need an app...they should start out great and have to maybe use the app to dull performance...however their just not good in comparison to the stealth 600s...the tempurpedic pads on the ear pieces isn't bad but the way the headset is built its shape becomes very uncomfortable rather quickly...the antenna in 700 g2 is horrible aswell I can travel but like 8 feet from my xbox before they disconnect...disappointed forsure
This App Is Very EXCELLENT. The Turtlebeach 🐢 ⛱700 Gen2 Headset Is Impeccable When It Comes To The Sound & Options On How To Personalize Your Choices Of Sound. The Only Bad Thing About This Headset Is When It's Bluetooth Via Connected & NO Sound Is Being Played Through The Headset, It Shuts Itself Off Completely. I Wish It Would Stay On Longer & Give The User More Time Before It Turns Itself Off. So Other Than That This Is Headset Is Craftmade Perfectly, Very Comfortable & Well Worth The Price
Started amazing. Went downhill. Cannot use Xbox party volume control, all in app. Terrible with Dolby sound. Constantly loses connection from Xbox series s. Headset is terrible stealth 700 Gen 2. Bluetooth doesn't work on one of the headsets. Have flashed it with update, factory reset both absolutely trash.
Why does Turtle Beach not know how to program? This app connects for about 5 seconds and then disconnects. Barely works. Used to have the hub on my computer and it stopped working all together. Emailed them a few times and they basically just said they didn't know how to help me. I'm done with Turtle Beach.
Can't get the app to find my device (stealth 700 gen2), which is Bluetoothed to my phone playing music right now as I type this. For anyone who can't theirs to pair hold the Bluetooth button until it says "Bluetooth off" then hold it again until it says "Bluetooth on" don't let go until it says "Bluetooth pairing".
A pointless app for an issue they created. Thanks for ruining the Bluetooth for my $200 headset that had no prior issues connecting to anything. I will not be buying another stealth headset after this. Make sure the system works before you make it the only way for Bluetooth to work. If I could leave no stars I would.
Using a headset that consistently gives me and the community problems . I will not invest in another turtle Beach headset with this unbearable process. I'm reading this follow ups there support team suggests but honestly it isn't worth the stress. Please drop this terrible app download process. I even had to connect it to my laptop for updates. Extremely inconvenient.
my app malfunctions everytime I use my mic. since day one. my work around is to unplug the power to my superamp and plug it back in. then it functions normally. that said once I'm in the app, it's amazing! so. in the spirit of x-play I give this app a 3... out of 5.
I'm on the console,had an issue with my headset and was replaced by Turtle Beach. Great head set, can be hard to connect to phone at times. Also no updates like on pc. Would love to have better options for consoles.
The app started out fine then could no longer connect to my phone. I ended up disconnecting every bluetooth device, restarted my phone and reconnected the devices starting with the app. All is well for now.
When it works, it's great. But as soon as you turn your headset off for Bluetooth, you have to delete this app.. unpair with phone.. re install app.. re pair to phone.. every single time.
awkward to connect and always puts your phone audio straight into the headset so you have to manually switch it back more 2 and a half stars.... 3 is generous especially for the price.
I bought a brand new stealth 600 gen 2 for my Galaxy tab s8 ultra but it would not connect. So I contacted Tuttle beach and filed a claim and I waited 5 days to get a new one sent out. I waited the 5 days, got my new one, THE WRONG COLOR, NOW THE CHEAPER BLACK. So I downloaded the app again, got to connecting it and once again it never worked. So I got the 700. Guess what? IT DOESN'T WORK EITHER!!!!. They never said anything to me about this being an issue. DO NOT BUY!!!
I honestly REALLY LOVE this app but theres one issue though... whenever i connect my S700 G2 Playstation it always lags every second which kinda bothers me. although whenever i close the app it stops lagging. But if i close it i wont get to check the audio settings.. So please turtle beach please fix this problem because i wann have fun while playing with my s700 g2!!! but still its amazing.
Very disappointed. My turtle beach beach headset is a Stealth 700 gen 1 which is in the pairing guide but no turtle beach headset that I've ever seen has a bluetooth button like it displays in the app. Waste of my time and patience
Phone connects but loading the app it Never loads first time and doesn't find device I have to power off the hub and plug back in before turning off the Bluetooth and turning back on both phone and hub to get a connection!
Best headset I've ever used the 50mm really hits hard on the bass and the others have adjustable setups but nothing like this . so amazing than the higher priced headsets, I've tried the higher $200+ headsets and just haven't gotten the quality sound I like .
basic ui and Id like the ability to make the superhuman hearing button on my headset toggle between different volume wheels. The app does what it needs to do however, thus the 4 stars.
Until installation without the Xbox they don't have any settings for sound and it's good for on the move if you take them outside the home it really comes into life then..
5 star after update!!!FINALLY!!! had turtle headset for about four months could not get the app to work finally got the update last month and everything working just like the app says..THANK YOU!!
As the gentleman described how the custom EQ falls flat when you turn off and turn back on the headset. Same thing is happening to me. You set your custom EQ. You save. All your presets work perfectly fine. But once you turn off the headsets, and turn them back on. You will have to go back to the custom EQ settings. Adjust the sliders a little bit to the left and right. On all three levels. And restation them the way you had it before. My settings are from top to bottom. 11, 12, 7. Fantastic.
