I leave my house at the same time for work but sometimes the bus does not come and I have to wait for the next one and end up being late. Once the driver did not even look at the bus stop as there was a car in front so I had to walk home for 40 minutes. Another time the driver missed my stop so I had to walk from next stop and he didn't even notice... Top it off with increasing the ticket prices. I am not surprised people leave so much litter on buses with this garbage services.
Clever little app. Buying weekly tickets is simple. Live bus route info is presented fairly well. Journey routes are clearly shown. EYMS have done well.
The first time I have ever been moved to review an app. Really well thought out, sensible and accessible. Does exactly what is required. The best features are the ability to view all stops for a route, expected service arrival and departure times and the fantastic online ticket purchase - buy whenever and activate as needed. Wonderful.
I use the access all areas, 36 weeks pass for getting to uni. Makes for a considerable saving and the app is easy to use with loads of useful features, such as live bus times and departures. My only criticism is that I wish they offered a physical bus pass for hull uni students instead. I dont like relying on a phone for these things, they can run out of battery so I have to be conscious about running apps and games.
A great app, the digital tickets are a wonderful alternative to the normal paper printed ones. Very easy to use, perfect for me as I can buy the ticket and just get on without having extreme Anxiety when needing to speak o the driver (I'm Autistic) and it's always reassuring to know that my tickets are always on my phone and won't get lost.
Live tracker is extremely useful to show you how late the bus will be. Quite nice to not have to stand in the cold and rain for 10-20 minutes, but would be better if you could run your busses on time
Fast and easy to use - the essential companion to anyone taking the bus! Note that the live times can be out by a few minutes, so best be slightly early to the bus stop. The only improvement I can suggest is showing the times of other services aside from eyms, but that's not a huge deal.
The app is great. Even exceptional. But the local bus services are simply unreliable. With no competition on some of there routes. These are always the one to experience shortages first. 4 missed busses in a row for the same service from the city centre. Unacceptable.
Not been using for long but so far enjoying the easy journal planner, live departures and online tickets. So far, so good. Just recently when I do a search in journey planner, I click on a service but when a tap back to the results, they are not there and I have to start all over again? It has just started doing this recently.??
Second time now was waiting for bus try to open app for 10min it didn't load ticket and end up walking 50min home.
Not impressed with the information regarding bus station in Bridlington. They delayed closure yet the original information is still there. Very confusing for visitors

App is not easy to use. Difficult to find service 14. No tickets for service 14. Far more complicated than it needs to be. Bridlington zone doesn't cover Flamborough but covers sewerby. I'm paying a lot of money for a poor service. Soon be cheaper to get a taxi! Coaster ticket is more expensive that a day return ticket and not good value for money.
Update: Have improved since my first review and complaints we're listened to, night buses have turned up. Stars increased to 3 for, see how it goes. Original: Absolutely rubbish, unreliable, incorrect times compared to the pdf download timetable. Son been abandoned twice in town expecting the 57 at 23.21 to turn up as the app says. Checked the pdf timetable last night and apparently that bus no longer runs!!!
Cleanest buses in hull, an easy app to use and its great you can activate the ticket when you want to use it and I will always get the east Yorkshire buses from now on 👍🏻
Great app for getting around on the bus. It is easy to plan journeys. One thing it think needs to be added is the ability to save journey plans so you can view them later. Other than that it is a great app.
Love this app, both using the bus tracker when out and about, or simply watching vehicle movements, however in a future app update, could a 'landscape' option for the maps be looked into? (This would enable a larger portion of the map to be displayed.
Fantastic. Everything I wanted from a bus app. A small help section of how to gift tickets would be useful. I had to actually go through the unnerving purchase process before it popped up with the gift option.
We use this app for the live departure times for my son's school bus in the morning. It's very accurate and saves waiting in the rain longer than necessary. Used the online ticket purchase once when he lost his bus fare and it worked perfectly. Really impressed with this app.
Only problem I have is now leaving it to the last minute before heading out to the bus.
Works well and pretty easy to use. Digital tickets are very convenient and the extra options you get for ticket bundles are good value. Seem to address minor usability niggles in updates, which is great, so app has improved over time
