Today, & every month around the 22nd just after my subscription has renewed, I cannot get into the app, just the home page with the boat picture shows. To access the edp I have to uninstall the app then reinstall & it works for another month but I have lost my content of editions/supplements & bookmarked pages. I have sent 2 emails to customer support at Archant but not the courtesy of a reply. Won't be renewing my subscription again as not worth the hassle. Use edp24 & save £20 a month.SHAMBLES

App still not much good - stays on the picture of the boat instead of loading. Will only load when I completely shut down my mobile or tablet and reboot. It's so bad I will unsubscribe if major improvements are not made . Please get your act together!

The new version of this app is dreadful. I used the previous version and thought it was just fine. Now, I get windows floating all over my tablet and I cannot find any way to make it usable. This is a shame as I WANT local news and now spend my time accessing national news instead elsewhere..

What might be useful free access to first three pages of paper is spoilt by constant interruptions while on other tasks. My attempt to bolt down app settings failed. Uninstalled.

The app requires a customer account number. Purchasing a subscription does not result in such a number. After contacting archant support, the secret process for obtaining such a number was still not revealed. Subscription refunded by Google.

Exactly the same problem as the last review, the app stops working around subscription renewal date and has to be renewed this is getting irritating.

I refused to let a news app access my contacts and my storage (why on earth does it need them??) and now it just sits on the splash screen. Data farming app, don't install it.

App does not work anymore. I used to enjoy this app but it suddenly stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache etc.etc.

Since the change to login, when I had to uninstall and reinstall, having to do that again after about 2 weeks!

Why does a newspaper app need access to my contacts and to be able to make phone calls? Sorry no. Just no.

To date our subscription has failed to provide us with the Kings Lynn and Fens edition we have paid for. We only find the general 'county' version available. Also, despite repeated requests nobody from the EDP has responded to our query asking how we redeem the petrol, sticker and competition vouchers which are part of the daily content of the Eastern Daily Press. With 'copies' specifically disallowed we find ourselves denied these benefits with the much promoted digital version..

Basic news for today used to be free, now you have to pay a subscription!!

Unable to use all pages with out payment

Installed the app expecting to have full access to the news, you get 3 pages per paper and £200 for the year or £21 a month..... Come on, for a paper copy OK that's fair but for digitial? Lose the 0 at the end and it will be a reasonable for digitial

£200 for a years subscription! Forget it! Unless you pay through the nose you only get limited access, complete rip off

Didn't even open up waste of time

Waste of time. Installed and reinstalled 4 times and all I got was a picture of a boat. Don't bother as it's twenty minutes of your life that you won't get back. Expected so much more.

Very useless app with poor UX design
